Eun-Ae Singh was born in Seoul, South Korea and placed in an orphanage as an infant, a tiny bundle of potential waiting to be discovered. She never knew her blood-related parents, but she was raised with love and care by her adoptive, lesbian parents. Their love knew no bounds, and Eun flourished under their guidance. Despite the lack of blood relation, Eun and her adoptive parents shared a deep bond that transcended genetics. Their love for each other was evident in every smile, every hug, every shared moment. Eun’s beauty was undeniable, with her golden locks cascading down her back and her emerald eyes sparkling with intelligence and warmth. People often marveled at the fact that Eun didn’t have “real” parents, not realising that her adoptive mothers were as real and loving as any biological parent could be. Eun’s unique beauty and charm drew men from all corners, but her heart belonged to women, just like her mothers. She embraced her identity with pride and passion, following in the footsteps of the two remarkable women who had raised her with so much love and care.
Eun’s childhood was filled with love and joy, with just a few challenges along the way. But everything changed when she turned the age of 13. A fierce battle erupted between her and her parents over her secret girlfriend, and in a fit of passion, Eun made a drastic decision to run away to Karakura, Japan, leaving her family and girlfriend behind. With determination burning in her heart, Eun used her hard-earned allowance money to purchase a plane ticket to a foreign land. But as she sat on that plane, the weight of her decision began to sink in. Regret gnawed at her, as she realised the gravity of leaving behind the mothers who had nurtured and cared for her all her life. In that moment, Eun’s passionate rebellion gave way to a deep longing for the comfort and familiarity of home. The journey ahead seemed daunting and uncertain, but she knew that no matter where she ended up, the love of her caring mothers would be with her forever.
However, there was no turning back now. Eun couldn’t just get off the plane, as it was half-way to Karakura already. Realising her big mistake, Eun sobbed quietly to herself as she looked out of plane’s window, wishing that she had never left home, and wishing that she had just dealt with the punishments of having a secret rather than trying to avoid them. The weight of her decision pressed heavily on her heart, filling her with a deep longing sensation for the comfort of her old home. The passion in her chest burned with the intensity of thousand suns, fueling her sorrow and igniting a fierce determination to make things right, no matter what the cost. She vowed to herself that she would find a way to fix this mess, to reclaim her happiness and the love that she had foolishly abandoned. With a newfound fire in her soul, Eun wiped away her tears and set her jaw, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead with unwavering resolve with unwavering passion. Although Eun was determined to find her way back home to her mothers, she still made it to Karakura, Japan. When Eun arrived in Karakura, it was a completely new and unfamiliar place for her. Despite the opportunity to make new friends and explore a new culture, Eun remained focused solely on her mission to return home. Throughout her time in Karakura, Eun dedicated herself to saving up enough money for a plane ticket back to Seoul. She worked tirelessly for a year and a half, determined to achieve her goal. Along the way, she did form connections with others who helped her in her mission, but her singular focus on returning home never wavered. As Eun finally boarded the plane back to Seoul, a wave gratitude washed over her. She reflected on the kindness and support she had received from those she had met in Karakura, and silently thanked them for their help. Despite her single-minded determination, Eun couldn’t help but feel a sense of appreciation for the friends that she had made along the way.
Eun had finally returned home after her incredible journey in Karakura, Japan. As she walked towards her familiar address, a fire ignited within her heart. She vowed to never again shy away from the consequences of her actions, to never again turn her back on those who loved her and needed her most. With determination in her stride, Eun reached her front porch and knocked on the door with eager anticipation. Her heart swelled wit joy at the thought of reuniting with her beloved mothers. However, that joy quickly turned into confusion and fear as a complete stranger opened the door before her. The stranger’s puzzled expression was mirrored by the woman holding a baby, the man who had answered the door, and the two young children who had gathered around. An older sister and a younger brother stood by the adults, their eyes wide with curiosity. Eun’s heart raced with fear as she imagined the worst possible scenarios. The thought of her family being gone or worse, no longer alive, consumed her mind. Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably, her body shaking with each sob.
The family at the doorway watched with concern, unsure of how to help this distraught stranger. The husband, sensing Eun’s deep distress, approached her gently and asked if she was alright, if she needed any help. But Eun was unable to respond, her mind clouded with panic and anxiety. The man, seeing her heavy struggle, made a quick decision to bring her inside their home. His wife and children followed closely, their eyes filled with concern for this stranger in need. In that moment, amidst Eun’s overwhelming fear and despair, she found a glimmer of hope in this kindness and compassion of this family. Their willingness to help a stranger in need touched her deeply, and she knew that she was not alone in her moment of crisis. Eun’s heart ached with longing for her mothers, the uncertainty of their whereabouts weighing heavily on her. Despite the warmth and kindness of the family in front of her, she couldn’t shake of the deep sadness that consumed her. As she recounted her journey to Karakura and the struggles she faced to return home to the family, they listened with rapt attention, their eyes filled with empathy and shock. They understood the gravity of Eun’s situation, but their own challenges loomed large, especially with their infant’s health at stake. Yet, in the midst of their own trials, they offered Eun a safe haven in their home and pledged to help in the search for her missing mothers. The husband’s reassuring words resonated with Eun, filling her with a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness of her despair. Though the house stood empty when the husband found it, devoid of the familiar presence of her mothers, Eun found a solace in the promise of the family’s support. With determination and unwavering passion, they vowed to reunite Eun with her loved ones, no matter the obstacles that lay ahead. And in that moment, Eun knew that she was not alone in her quest for answers and closure. But little did Eun know, her missing mothers and this whole, crazy ride, had a deeper mystery to uncover.
Eun’s bond with the family grew stronger each passing day for four years, as they raised Eun as their own. Despite the absence of her mothers, Eun found solace in the love and warmth of her new family. She poured her heart and soul into caring for little Vincent, the infant, watching him grow and thrive under her attentive care. The laughter and joy that filled the household became her own source of happiness. As she embraced her role as the family’s older sister, Eun’s passion for nurturing and protecting her newfound siblings only deepened. She cherished every moment spent with Lisa and Hyung, her sister and brother, relishing in the opportunity to be a positive influence in their lives. Eun’s dedication to their well-being was unwavering, fueled by a fierce determination to provide them with the love and support that Eun got as a child. Through her unwavering commitment to the family, Eun found a sense of purpose and fulfillment that she had never experienced before. Despite the challenges she faced in search for her mothers, she knew that she had found a new family to call her own. And their embrace, she found the strength to let go of the past and embrace a future filled with love and belonging. However, Eun still had a place in her mind and heart for her long-lost mothers. Eun was content with her loving family, yet a lingering curiosity consumed her thoughts about her missing mothers. The mysterious disappearance of her mothers left Eun pondering if they were fleeing from something, leaving their home vacant.
