Tedzukuri was founded in 1987 in Tokyo, specialising in handmade stationery such as notebooks, bookbags, desks, shelves, and many more. Ren Itō was keen on making sure the students had high-quality stationery to ensure fun and success in learning and studying, before retiring and handing the store to his son, Taka, who decided to move to Karakura and take the store with him.

I’ve been playing SRP since the 27th of January 2023 and consider myself a very active part of the community. I’m an active Tailor in Thrift Shop, Stitch Paradise, and Rose Atelier. I do my best to log onto SRP at least once a day for a few hours to engage with friends and partake in different situations. I've taken part in several aspects of SRP, including but not limited to:
Animal RP | I have quite a lot of Animal Whitelists, as you can see listed below in "Current Roles", I most often roleplay as my [Rat] Jinshu, as he's adopted and actually has a home unlike most of my other Animal Characters, whom I roleplay as strays. |
FamilyRP | I'm part of four families, all on different characters. The family I participate most in is the Nakazumi Family. I have a family of my own, called the Itō family, and am also part of the Draven Family and Desmond Family. |
FacultyRP | I started out in the School Employee Faction on the 29th of October 2025 as Librarian, before switching roles over to Nurse on the 23rd of March 2026. I'm still an active part of the faction |
BusinessRP | I was part of Enchanted Quill Publishing back in January 2025 until December 2025. My job was to write/edit and publish books into the public library, as well as help players who visited said library to find what they're looking for. |

Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
I've been on the server for a long while, and my genuine motivation to become a Shopkeeper is to expand my roleplay experience. I've been lucky to be under DongMoon's wing, as he's taught me quite a lot of things I have to know. I know being a Shopkeeper is a huge responsibility, but I want to give the people a Shop that includes a lot of RP aspects. One of the main reasons why I want to become a Shopkeeper is to share the 66 customs I own (yes, I counted them) with the community, as a lot of people find joy in the items I ordered (big praise to all the modellers as well, you guys are awesome).
I've explored quite a few branches of SRP, including FacultyRP (which I'm still active in) and a few other aspects. The shop faction specifically caught my eye because of the communities one can build around a store, and I'd be honored to join this part of SRP.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
Tedzukuri is a stationery-focused store. The store focuses on stationery for every age and every aesthetic, be it kidcore, cottagecore, dark academia, or more, we have it. Our goal is to make students look forward to going to school, to show off their unique stationery, or trade limited-edition notebooks and pens with one another. We are focused on ensuring that students have fun whilst learning and actually enjoy their school time.
I plan on keeping the inventory rotating, meaning people should never get bored of our stock! From LIMITED-EDITION notebooks to backpacks and shelves, you can expect new designs every month.
What will you sell in your shop?:
Our inventory ranges from books, bookbags, pens, stickers, shelves, and desks to easels, and painting supplies.
Whilst Tedzukuri's main focus is Stationery, we also offer stylish umbrellas and school hats as well as motivational school posters. We will offer Back-To-School bundles, which will include a notebook, bookbag, and of course, pens.

Do you have a shop design in mind?
Yes, I plan on taking inspiration from common stationery shops in Japan, such as the ones shown below. The shop should have a cozy and welcoming atmosphere to make customers comfortable and feel at ease. I take inspiration from vintage-looking shops instead of the 'newer' modern ones, as vintage shops often have a homey feeling to them.
How many employees do you plan to have?:
I expect to keep my shop quite small employee-wise. The planned number of employees will be 10, which will include:
Cashier(s) [0/6] - Handling the register, orders, and of course the customers
Designer(s) [2/2] - Design uniforms, new items, as well as media (Discord, Onrain, etc)
Manager(s) [1/2] - Hosting Openings, helping customers, supervising Cashiers
Do you plan on having any uniforms for your employees?:
Yes, I plan to have beautiful, customized uniforms for my employees to match the store's etiquette.
Employees are encouraged to request changes and personalisations to their uniforms to show how unique each of them is.
(Costs for personalisations will be covered by the Shopkeeper as long as it's under ¥80,000)

Can you tell us your name and your age?
"My full name is Kentarō Taka Itō Nakazumi, and I'm 36 years old. But please, call me Taka."
Since when have you been living in Karakura, Taka?
"I was born here. I mainly grew up with my Grandfather, Kogorō, as my mother passed whilst I was still young."
What inspired you to take over a shop of your own?
"My father, Ren, and my grandfather. Being a shopkeeper runs in the family, my cousin, Royki, is also one. He owns Pinkumo, whilst our pops owns Henki-Dō.
But what inspired me most were the kids. I've worked as a School Nurse at Karakura High for a few years now, and whilst there have been a lot of ups and downs, the kids have always been supportive. Many of them struggle with learning, and I wish to change that by making them fun supplies to enjoy studying with."
You've mentioned working as a school nurse, could you elaborate on your work experience?
"A lot of ups and downs, as well as injuries that I'm questioning to this day but shall not mention, because of confidentiality and all that. It's not a job for sensitive souls, if you don't have a backbone, you won't get far in KHS. I enjoyed my time there, great coworkers, chill boss, thankful higher-ups."
