What's your Minecraft Username?: Vexosphere
What's the title of your suggestion?: /feed command for people without ranks - PREVENTING Pay2Win

What's your suggestion?:
I am suggesting complete removal of /feed perk for Funraiser+ rank, and give it to every single player. This command is extremely unfair when you don't have it. Why? Because basically, food is really expensive for new players. Yeah, you can fish, you have free apples at the start, but still... you will be losing a lot of money. Basically, buying F+ rank makes your allowance bigger, because you can save more. And considering the fact vending machines are broken (not sure if they are, but someone wrote a suggestion about it) makes it even worse. Please, before you write -1, think about it when YOU were a greenie. Everyone just felt F+ is necessary. /feed command just makes the game a lot better, experience is better, so give it to everyone. People without ranks deserves it - and remember, this is not a survival server, but ROLEPLAY. Making food shouldn't be a priority here.

If you think F+ will lose important benefit - you would be right. But it can be rewarded with something new, something not Pay2Win for F+ rank.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
It will encourage new players without ranks to play on server, and they won't be frustrated. Their problem is not loud, because they do not sit on forums, and they don't have ranks - so no one is actually listening to their complaints. Let's support new players, not discourage them.

Whilst I agree with supporting newer players, I do not believe that this command is pay to win at all. Pay to win items being sold would be powerful weapons for example, where it could help give you advantages in fighting other players. This command gives no real winning advantage to those playing the game, it's a roleplay server, not a PVP server. Rather than removing a feature that people have already paid for, we can suggest other helpful ways of sourcing food on the server. For example; a food bank for those that need it. Right now there are multiple options however, they can visit vending machines, visit NPC shops to purchase food items, visit the Shrine and get offered food there, etc.

Bugs such as the vending machine one, should be encouraged to be reported via a bug report thread to help bring awareness to the situation. Without reporting things like this, nobody would know to fix them.

You are quite right, /feed is definitely p2w, but that is the function of rank, if there is no exclusivity, believe me, many people will not buy rank. (Are Tags, Gadgets, Pets, Models, Nicknames attractive? For most people, of course not! Chat color? No need! Ads? I can totally block them with a mod.)
In addition, removing exclusivity will lead to disappointment for players who bought rank for /feed, unless refunds are allowed.

Its technically pay-to-win, but not in the eyes of Mojang. For their EULA to take effect, the perks of the rank must have a competitive side to it. Imagine it like this. Buying Notable+ gives you access to all blocks in editmode for free, whereas nons would need to pay for each block. This is clearly pay-to-win, but it provides no competitive advantage. Same thing happens with /feed. While you could argue that you can use this to your advantage during a chase, I don't think Mojang is that invested in Minecraft roleplay for them to actually do anything

The management team has no reason to remove this feature, other than PR I guess, and considering just how many ranked people support this command, I doubt they'll do anything
