It's my honest opinion that there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the concept of Street Racing. Sure, I may not be a fan of the whole "crew" mechanic - getting a crew together can be tough, especially for newer players, I'd much rather racers raced against each other lone-wolf style - but that's not the point.

The thing is that Street Racing has been neglected for a while, which is unfortunate. I'm not here to throw blame on anyone as I don't know anybody's situation; what I'm trying to say is that very little has happened with it officially. I've been with Fight Club for a long time, and I've seen the effects different constraints upon marketing a criminal business have. The issue with Street Racing is that it either doesn't happen, or nobody knows it's happening.

KBM Side: There needs to be a greater push for marketing the races - we're talking IKIGAI, we're talking Discord Event listings, we're talking /event on the server itself. If nothing changes - nothing changes. I've seen the GREAT differences between when FC briefly didn't have access to /event and when it did. And, most importantly, it has to happen. A race must be held. It doesn't matter if it's rough around the edges while it's starting out, everybody knows that FC wasn't exactly the pinnacle of entertainment when it began, it simply must get started.

Unofficial Side: Similar things apply here - people need to know these events are happening. Sure, unofficial street racing businesses may not have access to /event at all (heck, I heard that gangs cannot "recreate" KBM businesses) but there are other ways to get your stuff out there. The first and most obvious is reaching out to other gangs, either for sponsorship or asking them, hey, can you put up an event on xyz date, say it's Street Racing, say some of your folks are competing, etc. Once enough people gather at the starting line, more and more people will wonder what's up with this one spot which has such a crowd - that's how Town Hall protests begin, for example.

I guess another thing that may turn some people off from Street Racing is the rather high entry cost. I don't have the numbers with me, but having to purchase a car and having to upgrade it just to have a fighting chance costs a lot.

Those are the things I can think of off the top of my head. Hope these make sense - and I hope they help.

Take your time to answer this, I need proper feedbacks and thoughts.

They should learn to drive before they start racing. Nobody seems to know how to slow down and turn for some reason like it's really not that hard.

I think that's more of an individual issue rather than the street racing faction as a whole
