Fix / Update the Projectile plugin! (Waterguns, Glocks, Tasers, etc)

WHAT YOU WANT TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:

Fixing the plugin which currently handles the projectiles and hitboxes for thr Tasers, Glock 17, watergun, etc.
Im not sure as to if SRP currently develops this plugin, but it would be extremely helpful if hitboxes for these weapons were fixed, especially for KPD. Currently, the projectiles fired by these weapons have some weird auto aim and hitbox properties that often cause them to either miss or hit something which isn't even in the way. It affects a lot of police work specifically, and can cause ooc situations when misfires happen. If you'd like to see how bad these hitboxes are, try using the watergun and testing it, as it has the same hitboxes. You can even hit someone who's directly behind you in some cases.

HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:


Itll help prevent accidental misfires and voiding during situations where KPD is involved, it's extremely frustrating when you fire point blank at someone and the taser or glock projectile decides to hit someone you weren't aiming at in the first place x-x.

talking about a situation with the stupid glock hitbox that caused 5 ooc days without hakasada akihisa. was very experience.

anyway fix this plugin or kpd r going on strike

it literally broke, we can even drop the glocks now which is something we could never do before
even when you're aiming directly at someone point blank range the bullet with stray off in random directions

Please, you dont understand how BADLY we need this. Im doing glock training and the hitboxes are so hard. For those who dont use glocks and tasers i can understand how it may be harder to see how bad the hitboxes are BUT LET ME JUST SHOW YOU SOME SS/CLIPS to you all
This ss was taken during glock training, As you can see for one hand myu crosshair is not even aimed where the bullet is going, as well is the bullet practicly SKIMMED passed kaz's head. ITS NOT EVEN A PIXEL AWAY FROM HIS HEAD yet the hit didnt register

Yet in THIS screenshot despite the bullet pretty much going into the floor, and not even really TOUCHING daiki, IT STILL REGISTERED AS A HIT. And if you look MY CROSSHAIR IS AIMED UP TOWARDS DAIKI'S TORSO... NOT EVEN AIMED AT THE GROUND

Of course, there are more examples. In a situation in the sewers when bonten attempted to attack Lizalopod, Yonio had to shoot Akira ddue to him in the arms due to him resisting the cuffs. EVEN THOUGH YONIO'S CROSSHAIR WAS AIMED PRETTY MUCH DIRECTLY AT AKIRA it still hit me.

Of course tho, glocks arent the only isser. Taser hitboxes suck as well resutling in situations where we may tase the wrong person due to the other person JUST A BIT TOO CLOSE to the target. A great example of this is in the court situation when hira got tased AROUND 5 TIMES BECAUSE THE HITBOXES WAS ASS

OVERALL the hitboxes NEED TO BE UPDATED. As you can see from all the photos and ss the glocks bullet sometimes doesnt even go where you're aiming and the hitboxes for the glock are horrible, and the taser is a bit better but overall still ASS. Fixing this will make it A LOT easier roleplay wise and avoid situations where someone may accidently get tased or shot due to how bad the hitboxes are

BTW TO ADD ONTO TURNS OUT GLOCKS SHOTS DONT REGISTER THOUGH TRAPDOORS OR EVEN IF THE PERSON IS STANDING NEXT TO A TRAPDOOR. HERES THE CLIP

+1 it's so annoying when you get tasted when ur not directly being looked at

As someone who harasses specific people with waterguns, I'd like to be able to hit people while they're sitting down too :)

Thank you for your suggestion! After discussing this with the team we have decided to implement it.

- We are making quite a lot of changes to projectiles during this month, more will be announced to the Police Faction this week.​
