8/10, Usually on every day for several hours at a time (5+ hours usually, lowest is usually 2 hours) (if not, then I'll usually be off maybe 2-4 days out of the week not consecutively to vibe and play something else). What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?:
I am hoping to become a teacher to expand my roleplay experience and knowledge; roleplay is limited when you can go as far as high school or college and I would like to experience a realm outside of that. I have also had several friends enter the faction and I would love to be able to share that experience with them. Not only that, but I would really love to develop this character further by placing them into situations that can lead to the development of their personality, temperament and traits. I have always been looking into the school faction from afar but now I would like to have the opportunity to be a part of it and truly understand the ins and outs of what it means to be a teacher on SchoolRP.

Yes, I understand that I am applying for the teacher role of Unqualified Teacher and that if my application is accepted I may have to go through a variety of teacher training.

What are the teacher class logs and why are they important?:
Teacher class logs are reports of classes, what periods the classes were in, how many students attended and the hosting teacher. Class logs are important because they keep the faction organised and give proof of teachers working hard and doing classes to meet or exceed their quotas.

As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:
1. Limited and controlled speaking, educational discussion and questions on the subject and class topic are allowed and even encouraged, though, for the concentration and learning of your peers; speaking is limited to quiet discussions or complete silence depending on how much concentration is needed for the topic we are discussing.

2. Respectful language, within a classroom peers, should not belittle each other or use offensive terms or language, bullying is unacceptable and will not be tolerated within or outside the classroom.

3. Phones silenced, phones are allowed to be in your pocket and silenced or turned off, but pulling them out within class hours is not acceptable as it can be distracting to your peers.

4. Toys are to be placed at the front of the classroom or concealed in a bag as they can impede your and your peers' concentration on the lesson.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
For roleplaying experience, when I was a kid I would write and read stories, especially between a main focus group of characters; expanding onto that I began to roleplay on different Minecraft servers and on a variety of different fandom or enthusiast websites or applications. I have been participating in roleplaying and roleplaying communities for the majority of my life as well as attending different drama and theatre-themed camps, classes and after-school activities for character creation, character development and general performing arts (body language activities, voice control including projection and tone and more).

↳ Description: Heads of Department are people who are very good at what they do, they have even more experience than qualified teachers when it comes to their subject and they handle a variety of different training; mainly answering and helping out unqualified or newly qualified teachers with any queries or qualms they may have about the faction or how classes work.

↳ Description: Qualified teachers are teachers who have finished teacher training and understand the fundamentals of the classroom and the faction, they have been teaching for a prolonged period of time and understand the ins and outs of day-to-day life in and outside the classroom when it comes to being a teacher and a member of faculty.

Teachers in real life and SRP function the same way, they create, prepare and put in action lesson plans for their designated subject; allowing students a safe, educational environment by enforcing rules and discipline.

They provide assessments to ensure students are where they need to be for their futures. As for out-of-character, teachers provide class logs to ensure their quota is filled alongside bulletin boards for grade postings, educational materials and announcements to do with their class. As for salary, newly qualified teachers have a base pay of 350k while qualified teachers have a base pay of 400k; and all teachers for an extra five classes that they host can gain an additional 50k making their complete earning potential up to 500k.

Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?:
Teachers are important to school roleplay servers as they function similarly to a real school, where students are placed in classes and review educational materials. Teachers also ensure the safety of students and prepare them for their futures assuring that their educational needs are met and that their processing the material they need to learn. Safe school environments, enforce rules and discipline, without teachers; a school would be dysfunctional, unorderly and unruly.

The lesson planning system this school works on is MoSCoW prioritization and ****ysis meaning must have, could have, should have, won't have.

Character Knowledge

Hachirō Hanabusa stood about 5 feet and 7 inches tall with kind, emerald green eyes and long, plaited, platinum blonde hair running down past his hips. He was slightly underweight, weighing around 101 lbs; his fashion often changed depending on the day and mood though, in terms of colour fashion, he could often be found wearing the colours green, black and sky blue. He often walked in long strides, a small smile on his face as his lanky limbs brushed past his torso, the light scent of sandalwood incense frequently followed the male. He's a single father with eight, biological children and four adopted children; due to this he has a great amount of patience and a rather calm, collected demeanour, he often prays for strength to continue thriving, faith and optimism are big parts of his character.

He often appears as a quiet and stand-offish character though once he has warmed up to you; his heart of gold and childlike humour is revealed. When it comes to students, he behaves with a great amount of formality and respect, he sees students as people making their way through life; traversing it as if it were a mountain path with twists and turns, and he encourages them to learn and behave with the same amount of respect and formality he shows them; hoping to lead by example. Hachirō doesn't raise his voice, especially not to discipline; he often uses the way he says and enunciates his words to get his viewpoint across, allowing students a calm yet stern environment. When interacting with other teachers, Hachirō behaves similarly as he does with his students; yet he sees his fellow employees more like he sees himself, as people who have already traversed a few mountain trails in their life and combated and survived the twists and turns.

Due to this, he greatly respects his fellow faculty members; often behaving with perhaps too much professionalism and formality, though, as he becomes more acquainted with his work peers; he will slowly let his formal and stand-offish demeanour wear off while still remaining respectful and appropriate within the environment. As for the future, Hachirō wishes to continue making his way through life with a smile; never giving up and having a strong amount of resolve. Hachirō is a rather easygoing individual, preferring to go where the wind takes him. When it comes to future planning; his main priority is to make sure that his children are well-taken care of and that he is when he eventually decides to retire.

Scenarios
You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?:

When Hachirō spotted the group of students in the hallway using foul language, he would clear his throat to make them aware of his presence before approaching with a polite smile, giving them a small lecture, "Students, please refrain from using such profanity on school grounds. It is a firm school rule that we use respectful language during these hours." if they continued to use the foul language after his request he would give them a warning, reminding them that such language is not permitted; if the group of students still continued to curse, he would warn them again; this time adding that detention would be handed out if they couldn't behave appropriately. If they didn't listen after the third time, Hachirō would pull out a detention slip, handing it to each of the students who continued their behaviour before telling them that he would see them after school.

No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?:
Upon seeing that no one in the class is paying attention, Hachirō would loudly clear his throat to gain the attention of the students before clasping his hands together and giving a small speech, "Students, it is currently time for the lesson." he would glance around; narrowing his eyes at each student as he walked around the classroom, "We are currently in a learning environment, and it is expected by not only me but the school; that you are able to listen and focus." should this usual method not work, he would demand attention by projecting his voice through the room in a musical tone, clapping once, then twice and then thrice he would recite a rhyme from his childhood. "One, two, three, eyes on me." should the majority of students still not be paying attention, he would move back to the front of the class, clapping his hands together once more before speaking, "This is your third and final warning, class, please turn your attention to me and the lesson or there will be consequences such as rearranging seats and perhaps even detention should you continue being disorderly." If the majority of the class still continues to be unfocused; the seats would be rearranged as he stated; should only a few people continue being unfocused, he would ask them to stay behind after class and have a quiet conversation with them about their inappropriate behaviour.

When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?:
Depending on the time of day and the activities that need to be done, Hachirō's behaviour and activity within the lounge would change; if it was the morning and he had lesson plans or grades he needed to complete; he would make himself a cup of coffee with the machine and then sit down and begin to work on those as they were of priority over socialising with his co-workers; during this time he would most likely behave cold and stand-offish, giving short replies as his concentration was on the work he had to complete; though, he would still remain respectful. If Hachirō didn't have any work needed to do, he would fraternise with his co-workers; wanting to become more acquainted with the people he would be seeing around and to calm his social anxiety around the new environment; he would make idle conversation about work and his day while asking them about theirs.

would take long strides around the front of his classroom, upon seeing his students enter the room; he would give a warm smile; clasping his hands together and greeting them, "Good morning, students, today, in Painting Arts we are going to be discussing different traditional art techniques." moving over to his chalkboard, the male would pick up the chalk and write the words 'Art Techniques' with arrows sprawling out around the title, "Does anyone here know of any traditional art techniques? If so, may you please raise your hand to speak?" as he finished writing he would place the chalk back down; turning to face his classroom of students.

/me would quietly roam around the classroom, looking over the shoulders of students as they worked on their art pieces; he would give them encouraging words such as 'What a great job' or 'You're doing wonderfully' before moving along to the other peers and repeating this process. While looking around he would clear his throat to gain the attention of the class; clasping his hands together in front of him, "Alright, students, while you're working, you may whisper quietly to each other about your art pieces and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to raise your hand or come to me at the front of the classroom." as he spoke he would move towards the front of the classroom, sitting down at his desk as he began to grade some papers from his previous classes during the quiet time.

/me would go around the classroom, lightly dusting around it with a feather-duster he had obtained from the supply closet; moving back towards it; he would grab out the different canvases; carrying them, he would place them on his desk before then moving them one at a time to each of the easels; propping the canvases up. Once each easel had a canvas placed on them, he would move towards the front of the classroom beginning to set up his desk, placing different tools such as rulers, chalk, pencils and notepads neatly around in the nearby area. Hachirō with an exhale, would familiarise himself with the room before class started; walking around with his eyes roaming; thinking of the different lesson plans he had created earlier and which ones he could teach today.

/me glanced down at his watch, standing up and loudly clasping his hands together, gaining the attention of the classroom; "Alright, students, we are about ten minutes away from the bell ringing. I need you to stop what you're doing and start cleaning up; there are sinks behind me over there where you can wash your hands if you were using the paints." he would pause, motioning his body and hand towards the sinks before turning back to the students, "And for those of you who haven't handed in your work yet, please come up to the front and do that now." he gave a small bow of his head before taking a seat back down at his desk, with a click of his tongue he would say one more thing, "If you have any questions, feel free to speak to me after class."


Backstory
Hachirō Hanabusa grew up in a strict yet loving environment, he was raised by his biological mother and father who cherished him; he spent the majority of his childhood in Takayama, Gifu; often using JSL to communicate with his deaf, biological mother and Japanese to speak with his hearing father; despite this, Hachirō and his family often preferred using sign language to communicate. In terms of discipline and parenting, his biological mother was permissive while his father was authoritative; setting clear house rules and guidelines and encouraging good behaviour; which influences the way Hachirō disciplines his children in the present.

As for teaching, Hachirō first became fascinated with the art of education during his pre-teen years; as an avid learner and 'teacher's pet', Hachirō often asked questions to further his education. The teachers who taught him majorly influenced his decision to strive to become a teacher, as they were great role models in his life who treated him with kindness and respect, Hachirō wasn't often disciplined during school as he never had any disruptive behaviours or urge to rebel; creating him to be a model student and an example for others. Hachirō Hanabusa has been given every opportunity to exceed and excel in his life and learning, he realises this and that he has lived a very privileged life, to 'make up' for this he often goes above and beyond when it comes to his work duties.

The first jobs in education he got were recommendations by his parents, his teachers and their connections within the field; due to them speaking so highly of him, he often had several schools wishing for his teaching services; especially well, respected private education institutions. For the first part of his teaching career, he was rather firm, teaching high school and elementary students. Later in life and further into his educational career, he expanded to colleges and college students; where he would teach the subjects he excelled at in college; History, Fine Arts and Astronomy.

Moving into the present, Hachirō had recently moved to a small island known as Karakura, wanting to continue his teaching career he looked into the local schools, having experience teaching elementary, high school and college; Hachirō decided to apply for a job at the local, public high school to get himself and his family situated in this new town.
