I understand why but instead of removing, put an option to choose if you want to show it or not

Levels decreasing? I've been inactive on the forums for a hot minute and my level still the same. As for the Flag, It's a flag... Ion really thinks that is something that can be disabled either, but maybe. Either way, it's not really important, nor a HUGE privacy concern. If that was the case then they should remove birthdays. Half of the people openly state where they live so.

-1; really is no reasoning.

listen so if you're inactive for more than like 2 weeks or a week or something. Your level decreases. That's why people with like 4 years of experience are at level 0

And about the flag, I firmly believe that it should be a choice to let out where you actually live. The site uses where you're from by ip, to change the flag you're in. Plus, birthdays are entirely different from locatttioons.. there is no big deal w thatt. It isn't that major but it's stil something

I don't see a problem with the flag being shown. A logical guess of mine would be that most of the people on forums when they meet new people start with an introduction and tell them where they are from. I do understand that there are quite a few people who don't do this and they don't want to give out that information, then from what one other person on this thread said there should be an option to disable it. In my opinion I don't see an issue other than people not telling literally anyone where they are from or reside in.

Like many people have said, there's nothing wrong with someone's flag showing. It's not necessarily doxxing someone's location. It's simply a conversation topic. There's nothing moderately wrong with it, in my opinion anyway. It seems unnecessary and useless to be added into the forums, I would dislike it immensely, anyway. I think it is interesting learning about the spread of players across the world.

Thank you for reading my input & writing this suggestion.

why should any1 care what countries they are from or who knows it (especially because it can't lead to doxxing.). it isn't that deep bro.

Players like I also use this to get a grasp of a players timezone if I need to interact with them and sometimes players who live in my country message me because they see a fellow Aussie, which is nice since there isn't much of us. It's a pretty useful thing to have lmao

Personally, I don't think having a flag shown next to your name is such a big deal. I can understand why you might not want it but it is extra work for the owner. So overall, not worth the time and effort.

sure just have the option to disable it I guess though the flag is showing your general location. I would be more concerned if it stated your actual state and/or city you reside in but it doesn’t. Even though I don’t know you’re from because I don’t know all the countries by flag, your flag is pretty coolio! You might not like your own country which could be a reason why you suggested this in which that case I’m sorry for calling it coolio.

I don’t understand the level thingy either nor have I ever witnessed such a thing

Thank you for taking the time to submit a feedback.

- This feature isn't entirely necessary due to this only displaying the country. From the community's feedback we'll instead look for a way to make location be toggled via your profile settings, however, older players will still know or have a rough idea of where you have logged on from.
