There should be a way to login to the account/your account that you are plus a way to GIFT a rank to someone without buying it for your own account.

It'd be something like this:

Gift: None | [USERNAME] | Logout

or

Gift: [USERNAME] | [BUYER'S USERNAME] | Logout

That way, the message on the chat message that shows in game will be able to show who bought the gift so no one can try to steal that kind of thing.

Like if someone were to buy it and it didn't have who bought it, anyone can say they bought it for that person. Especially with more holidays, people will want to give and it'd be the best to either have it where they bought it on their own, or they can see who bought it for them. No matter what, they already bought it on their account, it wouldn't be something that is selfish to want your name on the purchase.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
It'll be easier to see who bought it for you. Obviously, if you didn't want your name on, you'd just log in normally with their username.

it doesnt say it in the srp chat when it goes through, it just says "[Username] purchased [yadda yadda] for 25$!", not anything saying anything about who bought it for you

maybe implement a gift option ?
like, "purchase/send as gift [ ]" < then check the box if so and you put your ign. at the same time idk cuz people might use random ppls igns to troll even tho there's no point for a person to do that. logging in and out is kind of a hassle just to purchase/gift an online product but perhaps

There is already a way to gift stuff in the shop to people. It shouldn’t really matter about getting public credit for gifting someone…

I'm sorry, but I have gifted ranks and other things to friends in the past and I don't wish to be exposed. I had a friend who used to gift ranks on holidays to a lot of people and he agrees with me. We prefer to stay anonymous.

it can stay annonymous, you dont NEED to do that.

things like customs need TBX and if you got gifted it, there wouldnt be a way to know who to go to unless they told you beforehand... specifically if it was a surprise or the person wasnt online when it was gifted. people saying -1 because they want to stay anonymous just didnt read the whole suggestion... in my suggestion i said "Obviously, if you didn't want your name on, you'd just log in normally with their username." and if we're adding a gift option, you just wouldnt use it... you'd log in normally. if i gifted someone something irl, they'd obviously know it was me and if someone asked, you'd just say who it was from. why does this person have to get public credit for purchasing something they didnt purchase if someone else gave it to them? it wouldnt make sense, even if their reaction was public, that gift stays with them forever.

I just don’t see why a couple messages in OOC chat would warrant a whole new gifting system. Also what Urrufu said, I can’t imagine anyone would buy a custom for someone and not tell them about it or give them the code.

If you are gifting someone, no need to announce it for the world. And if someone gets gifted a rank, no need for the world to know they were gifted it.
