The server is frequently reset for updates. That's all well and good.
The problem is... they do it without warning.
This completely wipes any progress on stats, which is very frustrating especially for the swimming one.
Please give us at least 15 seconds of warning before doing a server reset so we can log off to save our stats so the time we put into advancing them is not wasted.

Stops stats from getting wiped and thus prevents frustration. I don't want to be wasting my time whenever I go swimming just because of a server reset that wipes my progress.

For Server restarts that the owner does, I would agree that a warning would be good. But majority of the time they do give us warning before a restart happens. And the server has a daily restart that happens every day at the same time, so you just need to time it

But when it comes to actual crashes, staff cant really tell when the server is going to crash or not, so giving a warning isnt something they can do since we all would be in the same shoes and stuff, yknow?

That makes sense. However, the daily resets still wipe stats of online players and I do not know at what time zone they are scheduled as 5 AM in. An automated message would be helpful for that. The crashes are just something we'll have to bear. Also I love your name! I've always loved eclipses; got to actually see a solar eclipse in totality back in 2017.

Daily and planned resets are always announced, Like dark said sometimes the server will crash, This is out of any of the owners control. If you've lost stuff due to server crashes you can always make a forums support post, They might be able to help you depending on what it was.

The server has daily resets that has a full minute warning; that should in itself be enough! Though, I understand it's frustrating when some server updates happen without warning. On occasion they do give a full minute for updates, though for server lockdowns those go without warning for the need of immediacy. Majority of the time you'll find you will have a warning for updates, unfortunately this time it seems like there might not have been. Sometimes stats rollback randomly as well which is a bug, but that's for the developers to fix, so we ask for your patience as the devs have other major bugs and updates to fix & implement in the meantime.

That's fine. I guess I haven't been online at the time the daily restart happens? But in any case, thanks for providing more details into this as it really does help!
In response to Aircon, people have said that the devs can't manually go in and alter someone's attributes to fix their stats unfortunately. I would likely be at 02% swimming right now if they were able to alter stats but it's alright.

I don’t think they were talking about crashes, they were just talking about restarts, which I agree would be nice to have a warning, even before the lockdowns.

- We give plenty of warning before any planned restart, your attributes and stats save automatically during these. Server crashes aren't planned, hence why we cannot given warning or ensure data saves as intended.​
