What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
Overall I would say i’m relatively active on SRP, and I have contributed to several things on the server which that would be worth bringing up being as followed
Teacher Faction
I am currently the Science Head Of Department within the teacher faction, I have been in teacher faction for about a year and 5 months as of writing this application and this would would enable me to not only working with my peers but also managing Interactive classes for the 100s of students on the server and being the overall face for new players. And being an HD also means that I would be contributing in a higher up position and helping out my fellow teachers with questions and training.
MuiscRP
I may not be the lead person who founded musicRP, but if I were to toot my own horn I would be one of the few people who encouraged others to take up on this form of detailRP. I’ve spent a lot of my time outside of Teacher Faction writing detailRP for music as well and expressing it in shops like Seikatsu, Pinkumo and as of recently Umisachi. This passion for this form of RP would then lead me into making my Own Guide on how anyone can do MusicRP. Again I may not be the person who started the whole craze, I would be one of the people who contributed to it.
Additional:
Aside from faction based stuff I’ve also contributed to several school clubs and shops with one of the shops currently I’m a manager for.
What is your motivation for applying?
In real life I used to work part time in the medical field. I used to be in patient transport and from there I would have a large appreciation toward people who work in the medical fields with how much pressure and how it can change someone’s life. In terms of SRP I want to try something that's new and that I've never done before being EMS as many of my friends have encouraged me into applying. And what better way of connecting I've done in real life into going into the Hospital faction as a way to not only better my roleplay and to have more roleplay opportunities outside of school faction, but to also put what I know now to the test as it's something that I'm surrounded by outside of SRP. Both bettering my writing & detailRP but also further understanding what it's like in the medical field even if there are things that aren't inherently realistic. Additionally If there is a chance I would want to try and put my own spin on what's normally done and contribute to the faction.
Which role are you applying for?
Psychiatrist
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
The Hospital Faction has a Hierarchy of doctors which applies to all Psychiatrists and Doctor, excluding Paramedics. With all of them having their own specific roles and gimmicks that makes them stand out from each other from the faction.
- Director:
is the main boss around the hospital and lead and manage all medical reports, documentations and overseas the entire hospital
- Deputy Director
the second in command after the director and takes over all the directors responsibilities when they aren't around.
- Clinical Lead/Chief Paramedic
The Clinical Leads oversea their own department and look after their own physicians and residents in their respective department on top of basic duties. They also provide training and authorize time away from the hospital to those beneath them. The Chief Paramedic is the same however they only look after their own paramedics.
- Attending Psychiatrist/Doctor
They are the attending physicians of their department having completed their residency and are more experienced then most of their residences. They are in charge of their basic duties on top of additional responsibilities
- Senior Psychiatrist/Doctor Resident
They would still be in their residency albeit are much more experienced then the residences below them, and would perform their usual tasks while also acting as a upperclassmen for the Resident Psychiatrist/Doctors.
- Psychiatrist/Doctor Resident
The Residence are new to the hospital and are learning and performing their task hands on. They would have also completed their vigorous training
- Psychiatrist/Doctor/Paramedic Trainee
Psychiatrist and Doctor trainees are the newbies who've recently gotten into the Hospital. Before they become residences they must undergo a vigorous training process which could last a week to understand the ins and outs, being their introduction to the faction. Paramedic Trainees however where either Psychiatrist and Doctors having transferred departments and would undergo their own set of training before working as an EMS worker.
Paramedics: They are a department of medical workers who answer to emergency calls that relates to medical emergencies. Paramedics are one of the few roles on the server who are authorized into entering the school incase of an emergency (and can only be called in by School Nurses). Paramedics also work alongside with KPD whenever they're needed for instance, If there's a rogue animal in the forest and KPD requires an EMS worker to tranquilize it. This role is also something you can only obtain through promotions and authorization from the Director to transfer departments. They also have their own hierarchy and mandatory training they must undergo prior to transfer.
Hierarchy goes
Chief Paramedic
Paramedic
Paramedic Trainee
Psychiatrist: This department focuses primarily on mental health and therapy. Unlike doctors Psychiatrists are able to run therapy sessions that are authorized while also being able to prescribe certain medications to the patients. They are also qualified to diagnose and treat any mental health disorder they may find with their patients. Furthermore they are required to obtain basic medical training in order to treat minor injuries when there are no doctors around. While this department can only do so much, their expertise in mental health and therapy make them an essential role in the hospital faction and just like the doctor department, their hierarchy share similarities.
Hierarchy goes
Clinical Lead:
Attending Psychiatrist
Senior Psychiatrist Resident
Psychiatrist Resident
Psychiatrist Trainee
Doctors: This department primarily focuses on physical health and take care most of the physical cases whether they are minor or major emergencies. They have a wide range of responsibilities such as tending to broken bones, stitching up cuts and lacerations, and providing physical therapy like Oxygen/Detoxification in rare cases. They are also able to prescribe medication or physical wear like prosthetics, canes or eyepatches to the patience. They are also qualified to perform surgeries whether they are simple readjustments or urgent medical emergencies. Overall they primarily make up majority of the activity within the hospital faction and are the backbone to most cases. And just like Psychiatrist department their hierarchy share similarities

Character Backstory (Optional):
Growing up Mafuyu was the middle child and is surrounded by people who push themselves to do better. Her older sister Hoshina has always been the example child of how to represent her family who've always been successful. Middle school and Highschool, Mafuyu was the complete opposite of what her sister was. She'd normally skip school, had mediocre grades at best and was rather mean to her younger siblings. This would all change when she first met her niece Midori (who is also Hoshina's child). When the girl was 3, her father passed away leaving Hoshina heart struck, with a young Midori oblivious and numb to the realization of the situation. Mafuyu would quickly realize that moments like these can change the way people feel or think. And despite her qualifications of a 22+ year old psychology graduate she began to do whatever she could do to help the coping child. She would frequently visit the girl and the closer they got, until a standard afternoon day. "Aunty, when I grow up, I wanna be just like you and help people like you did to me!" The girl would announce to Mafuyu. Originally Mafuyu went into psychology due to it's lesser workload and to also use to contribute to a tragic moment, however this vary moment made her realize that even though she's not a good student, there are still people who look up to her. She would quickly realize that from this alone she would need to better herself to live up to the expectations of the people who look up to her. So she choose to go back to school and work hard to earn her Masters in Psychology, which she wasn't satisfied. So she made the heartbreaking decision to leave Japan and move to America, where she took the MCAT to attend John Hopkins Medical School where she got her MD and completed her residency under 5 years and an additional 2 years of being a Psychiatrist there until she decided to move to Karakura where she could finally keep tracks and look out for her family.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical specialty? Why did they choose this focus?
Mafuyu would primarily focus more on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry due to her current position with children. The main reason she was driven to become a Psychiatrist was because of her younger niece Midori. At the start she only had her psychology degree to try and live a simple life as a school counselor or a teacher, but since taking care and looking out for her younger niece after her father died, she felt obligated to look out for her mental health as naturally it would be a traumatic moment. From there she would realize that Midori isn't the only child who's going through traumatic times as there are many other children who're like her who've suffered from a traumatic past and disorders stemming from childhood. Which brings her to why she choose to be a Child & Adolescent psychiatrist, as the best way to treat and handle the route cause of problems, is treat and handle them before they spiral out of control. And just as she did with her niece before gaining her MD, she wants to do the same for every other child with her newly found qualifications.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
To put it quick and simple, yes. It's only until she gained her Masters in Psychology she began to manifest a desire to work in the medical field. Having taken her MCAT, she worked very hard not only to stand out as a role model for those who look up to her to the point she would go to Medical School and completing it. Mafuyu would soon complete her residency at John Hopkins in 5 years and became a doctor there for about another year and a half as an attending physician at John Hopkins General Hospital. From there she would go back to Japan into Karakura where most of her family is at, to be there for them, and to use what she've learnt in the United States to better the people of Karakura.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
For her appearance Mafuyu is 5’5 Japanese women, with long purple hair that she normally styles into a side ponytail and shining gray eyes. Outside of work she typically wears casual clothing, including long dresses and cardigans. With how other people perceive her, she would appear as someone who's reserved and keeps to themselves, but in truth it's the complete opposite. She enjoys interacting with her colleagues and would frequently ask for questions or assistance whenever she needs. The longer people get to know her, the more people view her as someone who not only cares deeply for the patience, but also their own well beings, as she would occasionally bring food and coffee for her colleagues who are either incredibly busy with paperwork, or are having a bad day. And with bad days she tries to be there for her colleagues, and reassuring them that they did everything they could. And whenever she's having one, she tries to talk it out with others or to herself.
How does your character act around the hospital?
In the hospital despite being a rather extroverted individual, she still has a sense of professionalism and sets a fine line of being herself around her colleagues while also staying professional on the job. She is aware of the stakes of being a medical worker, therefore while she is someone who enjoys socializing, Mafuyu knows when to stop and focus on work. And while she acts all sociable as a person, she can quickly shift from gregarious to serious and professional when she's taking an a patient. If anything she uses her sociable personality to her advantage as a Psychiatrist as she would often make herself more approachable for her patience. Which during sessions she would remain professional while also making herself sound reassuring and hopeful as she genuinely wants to help people. During downtimes, Mafuyu would sometimes be seen doing her paperwork or cleaning up the different rooms before a patient arrives to the hospital.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Mafuyu is rather extroverted, so she works primarily better with other people rather then being alone. In her eyes being a medical worker requires a lot of communication and requires you to talk to your colleagues about certain things. As lack of communication with can significantly compromise the health of someone in need while also being a safety risk for her colleagues. In short proper communications mean the difference between someone living or dying. And just because she works best with other people, doesn't discredit her from knowing how to work by herself. With that said she is someone who values comradery within the hospital while also being adapt enough to the environment when she's on her own.
