I have been a part of the SRP community since around 2018-2019. Despite taking several breaks in between years, I always find myself coming back to it. Said breaks tend to only last a few months. Recently I just came back from a two month break as a lot had been going on OOCly. Now that things have calmed down, I have been getting on at least once every day for at least three to five hours.
I spend a majority of my time branching out, making new friends whilst roleplaying, joining clubs, shops, etc. I love getting involved in new things and stepping outside of my comfort zone. It is my goal to at least have tried everything on SRP once. If I am not roleplaying I spend the rest of my time tailoring and or working on getting my attributes up.
Over the years, I have had a few issues. However as time goes on I understand the rules and terminology a lot more. As mentioned before, I have taken a lot of breaks. Upon returning to the server, I believe I have matured as I like to re-read the rules and terminology to better understand what has been updated, what's allowed, and what isn’t.

What is your motivation for applying?:
My motivation for applying is my courage to try something new and different. As well as expand my roleplaying experiences. As mentioned before; I like to take a step outside of my comfort zone. Being a part of a faction seems like a large responsibility–especially within the government faction. However I think it would fit best, as it would be a wonderful way to get more involved with Karakura’s lore and citizens.
I also just think it would be really neat to learn more about Karakura’s government!
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
I have a pretty decent understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights. As I have only recently read over them; however, I have read over them multiple times to ensure my understanding. As well as if I do end up receiving this position, I will be dedicated to making sure that I understand them very well. I am sure there are going to be plenty of times where I will need to be well known with them.
What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
My goals within becoming a part of the Government faction include; learning more about Karakura’s government system, being more involved, as well as expanding my roleplaying experience.
There is only so much I am aware of about Karakura. It feels like almost every day I learn something new. Being a part of the Government faction will help me learn and understand things that I have most likely questioned. It was only recently did I truly realize how much the Government faction does. I admire all that they do, which is why I am inspired to apply.
Being more involved with SRP would help me be more active as well. Currently I feel as if I do not spend enough time taking things seriously. Creating a serious, roleplay focused character would open my eyes to a whole different form of roleplaying. Seeing as my only active character is a high-school student; I feel as if most of my time is spent messing around and just having fun. I enjoy detail-rp and I do not get to do it as often as I would like because of this.
I feel as if I also could learn a lot more about roleplaying if I were to be accepted into this faction. Interacting with more of Karakura’s citizens would expand my social bubble and force me to step outside of my comfort zone.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
[GOVERNER]
A governor’s role within the government faction is a minor role. Although they tend to tie together the citizens of Karakura to the government; they are most likely the lowest on the ranking scale, as they aren’t nearly as important as every other role. They’re efficient in their own ways, such as handing out IDs to citizens, taking their time to perform shop inspections and survey the public. Governors also tend to take part in doing a small amount of paperwork. Ranging from Approving adoptions to officiating marriages. In further detail; Governors don’t necessarily take part within the trials. They are only there to announce those who are taking part. Despite their role being minor, they are what keeps the government system in smooth motion.
[JUDGE]
Judges play a relatively important role within the faction–in my opinion. They are the ones to have the final voice and reason within a court room. Judges take the role in giving the final verdict regarding the defendant. Their work expands outside the courtroom as well; as they are the ones to issue warrants, review their cases before they hold any trials, file restraining orders, and approve adoption papers. Like Governors, they also are able to officiate marriages. Not to mention, they also take care of any front desk work.
[LAWYER]
Lawyers are one of the most important roles aside from Mayor and Deputy-Mayor. They are the ones responsible to defend their clients in a court of law. Representing their clients–the defendants–within any court case they take part in. When someone can not speak up and or defend themselves properly, Lawyers jump in to take voice in their place. This someone can not only be a defendant, but also a prosecutor. Within a court case, the Lawyer holds jobs such as gathering evidence, ordering it together in a way that it makes sense, and to prove that the defendant is guilty. Once again, outside of the courtroom Lawyers also take part in a plethora of other responsibilities. For example; Lawyers attend attorney calls, which contain client consultations, case updates, unexpected inquiries, as well as scheduling with their clients. They are to take part in client meetings, filing restraining orders, front desk work, as well as building their own client list.

Nodding her head, as if confirming her own name. “It’s a pleasure to be acquainted with you, I am Min-Jung Yoon.” The woman dipped her head into a deep bow. “You may refer to me as Ms. Yoon.” She held her elegance as she spoke, maintaining her composure.

Humming as Ms. Yoon took a brief pause for the question. She sat entirely still. Raising a brow. “A preferred title..? Well that’s simple.” Ms. Yoon held her left hand up, showing off the fact there was no ring on her finger. “Miss is just fine.” Moving her hand up, she delicately ran her fingers through her hair. Adjusting it to her liking.

The woman widened her eyes a bit, once again raising her brow. A slight smirk tugged at her lips. Shaking her head Min-Jung couldn’t help but chuckle. “If this wasn’t an interview, I would suggest that it is rude asking a woman of her age.” With a sigh, she’d continue. “I am 30 years old.”

Moving her arms so they were resting on either side of the chair, she’d cross one leg over the other. Tapping her finger against the chair’s arm. “I was born Sunday, October 31st, nine-teen ninety-three.”

Keeping her demeanor calm, and peaceful, she softly smiled. Min-Jung would radiate a confident elegance as her voice filled the room. She spoke as if speaking in front of others came easily to her. “I was raised in Korea, and found myself attending Seoul’s National University. I spent six years devoting myself and majoring in their Law course.” Min-Jung hummed with pride. “I minored in Political science as well. I was second to the top of all of my classes.” She held her soft smile, that made her eyes crinkle at the corners.
Work experience:
The woman's eyes sparkled at this question. Removing her arms from the chair, she moved them back to her lap. Min-Jung’s smile widened as she reminisced about her youth. “I like this question, I used to help my parents back home with their little restaurant. I was pretty young, however it taught me a lot about life at such a ripe age. I enjoyed working there, it was peaceful.” She leaned forward, taking a brief pause. “Once I was in school, I took on a few apprentice jobs as a Paralegal and Solicitor. It helped because it meant I could still focus on my studies, as well as be able to afford things for myself.” With her final statement, Min-Jung gave a firm nod.

Tapping her foot against the floor, she narrowed her eyes. “Well.. I was born and raised in Daejeon, Korea. Father holds the Korean heritage. He used to travel for work a lot before he settled down. This was when he met my mother in Russia. Somehow he convinced her to come back to Korea with him.” Min-Jung brought a finger to her chin, tapping it. “I suppose that makes me half-Korean and half-Russian? Yes, half-Korean and half-Russian.”

Min-Jung let out a bit of a baffled chuckle. Shaking her head she furrowed her brows. “I never had time to do anything illegal. Not to mention; I don’t quite understand why anyone would want to. I suppose that is why I am so intrigued with this job.” She narrowed her eyes before pressing her lips together. “Yeah, I suppose I may’ve gotten a speeding ticket once or twice.. However my record is squeaky clean despite that.” Min-Jung would mention, with a final nod.
What makes you a good candidate for this job?:
The woman gently scratched her cheek with her nail. Shrugging her shoulders she’d sigh. “In all honesty, I am just like the rest of the applicants. Educated within the system, dedicated, and motivated with the ability to act decisively in crucial situations.” She removed her leg from on top of the other, folding her hands together. Leaning forward as she rested her elbows on her knees. “Personally, I believe that my ethical track record of being an apprentice in university allows me to project competence and unity.” Her gaze would drop to her hands before glancing back up. “I’m heavily dedicated and committed to serving Karakura’s citizens, and my passion for it only grows with time. I have a strong sense of commitment. It is my goal to ensure I do my lawful duties, and become entirely familiar with Karakura’s laws and Constitutional rights. Receiving approval for this job will certainly help me learn things that I was unfamiliar with and or struggled to understand.” Min-Jung gave a delicate smile, pushing herself off the seat as the interview came to an end.
