Describe your activity on the server:
I would like to say that I am quite active! I have two separate accounts that I log onto regularly and roleplay. I am in college currently, so my schedule will look different in the coming months. As of current, I’d say my activity is a solid 8 out of 10, but do expect that to change slightly once my classes begin. Below a very specific, well-thought out schedule of what my typical day-to-day looks like:
Monday | 3pm CST - 11pm CST |
Tuesday | 1pm CST - 11pm CST |
Wednesday | Occupied |
Thursday | 1pm CST - 11pm CST |
Friday | All Day |
Saturday | All Day (Cheer practice 3pm-4pm) |
Sunday | 1pm CST - 10pm CST |

What position are you applying for?:
Governor
What is your motivation for applying?:
I am applying to be a governor because as of late, I have been yearning for a change of pace in my SRP experience, and what better way to do that than to participate in one of the factions I have always been interested in? In the past, I have been a part of the school/professor faction, college council, and EMS. I have since left, simply because I had come to the realization that they just weren’t my cup of tea. However, the government faction has interested me for some time now. I have debated applying in the past, and have even been put on pending twice for the position of governor (I deleted my application shortly after due to unforeseen circumstances), but this time, I finally decided to try my hand at it again. Many friends of mine have previously been members, and upon asking them about it, they had nothing but good things to say. I’m looking for a faction where I can apply my skills in an environment that would suit me best, and I think the government faction would be the perfect place for me to do so. It is my goal to build upon my roleplay experience by serving as an active member of the community and performing various tasks to help the Karakura government system, as well as the general populace. I think the government faction would be good for me, as I have been looking for something new to experience on the server. I primarily participate in the sports faction, which I love and am very passionate about, but the government faction will give me the breath of fresh air I have been searching for.
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
Yes, I do.
What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
I have quite a few goals! I would like to help out wherever I can within the government faction to make roleplay more enjoyable, as well as making the system as efficient as possible. I want to meet new people and place myself in a new crowd, while also helping to improve the roleplaying experience in the government faction. As for in-character goals, my character has been constantly searching for a career that would suit her best since graduating college. My main goal for my character is to put her in a position that suits her best, while also being able to serve the Karakura community through law and government. I want my character to find her place in the world where she can put her skills and talents to good use, as well as working in a field that she finds fun and interesting in order to make a living. I want to breathe new life into the government faction through roleplay, and establish a well-grounded character that can serve as a role model in the community for efficiency and service.
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
Governor
Governors are very important to the town hall, as they execute many tasks such as distributing IDs to citizens, officiating marriage certificates, adoption legalization, organizing verified businesses, company legalizations, and other things. Governors are also vital during court cases as they oversee everything that goes down. They are the ones to announce and document everything in a court trial. Another big responsibility of governors is to address the community of Karakura through giving public speeches and announcements, although these have become much less frequent throughout the months. Typically, they do this to notify the Karakuran community of any recent changes in the government, announce elections, or touch on important events. The biggest responsibility the governors have to execute, however, would be conducting research through civilian surveys and interviews. This involves the governors asking Karakuran citizens their thoughts on the current state of the government and delivering their reports and statistics back to town hall, where they will be discussed and reviewed properly.
Lawyer
Lawyers play a vital role in the Government Faction, as they are the sole defense for the Karakuran people. It is their job to defend, serve, and protect the people from possible conviction of crimes. They are there to represent their clients in court and do everything in their power to win over the judge and/or jury in their client’s favor. Alongside this, a lawyer’s other tasks include taking calls from citizens in detainment from KPD to protect them from police questioning and interrogation, hosting meetings with clients to discuss their legal options, build lists of their clients, file restraining orders with the proper evidence provided, and of course, the simple front desk work that all government workers must fulfill.
Judge
Judges are vital to the Government faction, as it is their duty to oversee trials and are the sole person to deliver a clean, unbiased verdict that has been very well-thought over. After listening to several testimonies, arguments, and evidence from both the defendant and accused sides, they are the one to decide the fate of the trial and possible consequences or rewards, depending on the trial. Another important detail about judges is that they are able to issue search warrants to KPD officers, allowing them to search any house, apartment, etc. with proper permission for any possible illegal possessions or activity. Much like the lawyers, judges are also able to issue restraining orders, given there is evidence provided. Of course, they also have the universal Government tasks such as front desk work and issuing ID cards.
Deputy Mayor
The Deputy Mayor, as most would say, serves as the immediate right hand to the Mayor. They are the person who takes charge when the Mayor isn't able to, whether this be delivering a speech or simply making a public appearance where it is needed. They are there to assist the Mayor with their tasks, as well as the other government workers present. It is their job to maintain a positive working environment and assist in the decision making process alongside the Mayor.
Mayor
The Mayor is the sole political figure of the city of Karakura and major representative of both its government and community, and serves as the leader of the government faction. The Mayor's job is to ensure peak employee efficiency and maintain a good workplace in the town hall, but among their other responsibilities, they are responsible for passing new laws, listening to the concerns of the people, and addressing the people in order to prevent major outbursts. It is their duty to provide solutions to the problems presented by citizens so that daily life in Karakura can be enjoyed to the fullest.
Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:
Yes, I acknowledge this.
Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:
Yes I have.

Full name:
The woman sat before you, poised to perfection with a knee delicately crossed over the other. Waved tresses of deep, wine red framed her face in neat, kept fashion, and through her fringe, eyes dark as a fine chocolate speared one’s gaze. Finally, she speaks;
“I call myself Stefani. Zaragoza, Stefani.”
Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):
The self-acclaimed Stefani Zaragoza dips her head slightly before speaking once more.
“Ms. Zaragoza is my preferred name.”
Current age:
Her nose wrinkles slightly, and the Italian-born woman turns her cheek with a disdainful frown.
“Don’t you know never to ask a woman her age?”
Luckily, she cracks, and a soft snicker escapes her, albeit hastily.
“I only jest. I am 27 years of age.”
Date of birth:
Slowly, a smile tugs at the corners of her lips. Truly, Zaragoza must have been a proud Capricorn at heart.
“December 26th. Christmas and my birthday, back to back. Rather humorous, isn’t it?”
She says without laughing, ironically.
Gender:
Another slight dip of her head ensues, and she returns to stern, structured, straight back to business.
“I am female, and I use feminine pronouns.”
Academic Degree:
It seems Lady Zaragoza liked this part in particular, judging by her speedy reply. Any chance to boast about her academic accomplishments was a good day to her.
“I have my Bachelors and my Masters, both from different colleges. See, I graduated from the University of Bologna for my Bachelors degree, then I traveled here and earned my Masters degree from our very own, Karakura College.”
Her head bobs up and down as she speaks, recounting just how much she had done in her years as a student. I guess you could say she’s rather. . . studious.
Major(s):
Ah yes, how could she forget? The most important of details regarding her education, her chosen fields of study:
“I have my Bachelors in Political Science, from the University I previously mentioned. After I graduated, I moved to Karakura and began work for my Masters in Japanese Language Studies. I have since earned my degree, and achieved fluency in the language.”
Minor(s):
Perhaps her minors were perceived as less important by others, but not her. Every little detail mattered; not one singular thing was left out.
“I minored in Korean language studies, as well as Japanese law. I am fully fluent in Korean, alongside Japanese. It has always been my goal to become trilingual, which I have achieved. As for my studies in Japanese law, I am well-versed in the subject.
Work experience:
With acrylic fingertips sharpened to an almond point, wispy red bangs were deftly whisked away from her visage, clearing her field of vision.
“Well, aside from the simple day jobs I worked in high school… I’m sure you’re aware; retail jobs, food service industry, all the things teenagers do in their youth. I am no exception. I’ve had my fair share of subpar customer service jobs in my day.”
Zaragoza recounted, inspecting her jet black acrylics as she did so. She looked up, locking eyes with the person before her. Now was the time, she was getting into the nitty-gritty. The 'big girl jobs,' if you will.
“Now, as for the more notable ones, I worked at a small law firm in Okinawa Prefecture during the summers in between semesters. I was a librarian. I sorted through anything and everything, and I made sure that our lawyers had access to the important files and information needed for their cases and clients. It was rather fun, I reminisce about my time there frequently. During the school year, I worked at a different law firm, not far from the island at all. I was but a simple receptionist, and although I could only come in and work on weekends, I gave one-hundred and ten percent of my effort in every shift. I’d like to think that my work ethic exceeded peak efficiency. That is how I run, with discipline and practicality.”
Nationality & born location:
A wide grin crept onto the young woman’s face, and she leaned forward ever-so slightly. Her hands rested comfortably in her lap as she spoke;
“I am Italian, born and raised in Genoa, Italy. The Zaragoza family has lived there for generations.”
Fluent languages (Underline your native):
Soon enough, that grin quickly upturned into a proud smile.
“My native language is Italian, of course. I was raised speaking the language. And as mentioned before, I am fluent in both Korean and Japanese, but you already knew that.”
Criminal record:
Her shoulders bobbed as she exhaled a dusty chuckle. ‘Stefani’ and ‘criminal record’ were hardly ever spoken in the same sentence.
“My criminal record? Why, it’s spotless.”
What makes you a good candidate for this job?
This is it, the final question, the home stretch. Stefani’s shoulders squared, and that smile was wiped off of her face in mere seconds. It went without saying, but her focus was like that of a leopard, watching for the perfect moment to strike. A sharp inhale was taken, and she spoke boldly;
“I am a good candidate for this job because not only am I reliable as a person and coworker, I am also in good understanding of how the Karakura law system works. I have spent hours, months, even years studying law & justice and it has all paid off, as I have earned my masters degree and have a dream of pursuing a job that will make good use of my earned skills and persistence. Having witnessed numerous trials throughout my life, I bring a unique perspective and deep respect for the complexities of governance and justice. In addition to my law skills, I am also a rather sociable person, and I find the presence of people enjoyable. With this knowledge under my belt, I firmly believe that I can improve the atmosphere of the workplace and make my coworkers feel comfortable and liked. In summary, my passion for law is complemented by strong interpersonal skills, and I have made it my goal to enforce a welcoming and collaborative workplace environment. I am eager to contribute my skills and dedication to this role, and I am confident that I can positively impact both the team dynamics and the government of Karakura.”
