Greta Anderson is the childhood friend of Ayano Matsumoto. They became acquainted when Ayano wondered on to the Anderson's farm trying to catch a frog. Greta spotted her and they've been best friends since. Greta continued her farm work after Ayano and her mother moved back to Japan, but made sure to write Ayano a letter every week, despite not being very good at it. Greta soon learns that Ayano has been arrested for some shady business, and decides to move to Japan to help raise money for her bail. However, Greta is slowly falling in love with Japan, and is planning to buy farm land there. Greta also met the love of her life, Zane Wendigo in Japan, soon marrying him and starting a family in her cousin's apartment.
