Backstory:
Grlied's father is Taiwanese, and his 1st language is Chinese, 2nd one is Minnan. His mother is Japanese.
His father came to Japan for work, then he met Grlied's mother, fell in love, married. Then Grlied was born.
Although Grlied was born in Japan, his father still taught and communicated with him in Chinese and Minnan.
Once upon a time, Grlied was 6. He followed his father back to Taiwan and studied in elementary school.
He went back to Japan and moved to Karakura city with his parents when he was 12. Then went into Karakura high school when he was 13.
When Grlied was 9, there was a big earthquake in Taiwan.
The earthquake happened at midnight, and Grlied was sleeping in the shared bedroom with his younger brother, Edley.
He tried to save Edley from the broken glass windows and got cuts on his face by glass shards.
When they tried to run outside as fast as they could, the ceiling fell and hit Edley, causing him to die on the spot.
Grlied freaked out and stood on the same spot by seeing Edley's blood bleed to his feet.
He had been pulled out by his father and passed out in the ambulance going to the hospital. He awoke 3 days after that.
When Grlied's second week in Karakura High, his parents, unfortunately, died in a car accident on their way to work in the next city.
