Family RP:

Ever since I have joined SchoolRP I have been involved in a variety of families, roleplaying out numerous activities, such as family dinners, family meetings, general family hang outs, weddings of family members and also at times disputes. I’d really like to thank Niko who is the leader of the Hatake family. The Hatake family is the family that I have been in for over a year, so much has happened over the past year and a half, it had its peak and then its downfall. Our role-play was really good, I met a lot of my friends that are still with me to this day.

Along the years I made new friends and joined other families such as, these families I have left/been removed from because of purges or other issues; The Mayumi family, The Navarro family, The Lacrosse family, The Heydari family, The Mora family, The Holland family and The Nakazumi family. But there are numerous families that I am still inside of such as; The Jin-Ryuk family, The Kohima family, The Blaise family, The Hatake family, The Takada family, The Fujimoto family and The Grimes family. All these families are ones that I have a deep care for even to this day; whether I'm still inside or not. Though I have left multiple people, I still deeply care for them.

Professor RP:

The Professor faction is probably the second best faction I have ever joined, even though I have only ever joined three factions, becoming a professor was really good. Being in the faction gave me huge role-play opportunities and made me many friends. It also taught me how to manage a class of ten, twenty students where I had to pre-plan lessons but at the same time know what I was talking about in order to actually answer questions on the subject! I also learned how to detailRP on the spot and to adapt to any situation that could perhaps happen.

Council RP:

Becoming a councillor was a huge opportunity for me, I was bored on SRP, running around, roleplaying slightly but not really getting far, until I got into the faction. Becoming a part of that faction was amazing, it brought me so many in and out of school roleplay opportunities, I made so many friends who I still talk to and it taught me more on the actual school, it also grew my knowledge on how the school worked through a non-adult faction perspective which really helped me grow my knowledge on the server, it honestly pushed me to learn more lore on the server and learn new things.

Lawyer RP:

My favourite faction is the government one, becoming a Lawyer was so good for me. I've always wanted to see the legal perspective of things on SRP and I want to learn law in real life, so having the opportunity to seeing how things worked in Karakura makes me really happy. I would like to say that I'm personally quite good in the faction and I make a good lawyer. I like the administrative type of things, I think it's really interesting but of course my favourite is the roleplay perspective of things, honestly becoming a Lawyer brought me so many new opportunities like the one where I'm building a huge class-action lawsuit (hopefully) and taking it to court. My character has meet so many people, shopkeepers, teachers, maidens, priests, professors, school employees, senior team leadership members, hospital workers, the director, police officers, detectives, the mayor and other non-faction players who are also incredibly intriguing.

LEADERSHIP SKILLS:

A few months ago I became the CEO of a verified business, Sashiko Corporation, these past few months have taught me patience, and other important qualities which could be important in becoming a Shopkeeper. I've learned how to manage a team of members, hire managers to assist me in the task and operate a server which a few hundred or so members within it. I know how to keep a server active, doing monthly events and other intriguing things. I even started a tailoring and artist internship program where all of the members in the server can learn how to do these things. I know personally, that I would have wanted that when I started off in SRP and that i'm pretty sure no other server has done that before.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:

SHOP INFORMATION

What shop are you applying for?:

If I can chose, I would like to take over Soleil Kumo's shop last location. I'm applying under the Restaurants & Cafes section, and will hope to rename it; House Rostova, if allowed. This shop will sell an assortment of Russian and Japanese imperial cuisine which in sort are dishes that were eaten by the imperial families of both of these countries, they are also dishes that are common in both countries now but their lore will be kept..

Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:

Personally, I would like to join the Shopkeeper Faction because in my eyes, it’s one of the most interactive and community focused roles. Being a Shopkeeper means a lot of roleplay, which is something that particularly strive for. I strive for Roleplaying with a community whether it’s basic conversations or selling special items from my store. The player ran shops in Karakura aren’t just there to sell items, they’re there to create an environment where different players are able to come together, to interact, to purchase and to roleplay. I like the idea of being someone who can offer that to the community. I like the responsibility that comes with being a Shopkeeper, I also think I would enjoy the other side of it, the side where I actually have to manage the store, keep track and organise the stock, set fair prices and I want to be able to make sure that the other players’ experience is both realistic and entertaining.

OOCLY I’m someone who really enjoys setting the narrative for creative roleplay scenarios and becoming a Shopkeeper would allow me to again roleplay with all kinds of players, whether it’s other Shopkeepers who want to discuss something particular, a Club Leader who wants to offer something to me for something in exchange or maybe even a simple player coming up to me and requesting a job!

What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:

When I think of House Rostova, I don't simply see another SRP shop that’s about gifts and accessories, I see an asian restaurant which offers affordable beverages and food. When you enter the shop you'll realise that House Rostova is far different from the other typical SRP shops. It’s special in its own way. My vision for House Rostova is that, my shop would create a one in a kind experience where SRP players can buy, aesthetically pleasing food pieces. When players step into House Rostova I want them to feel as if they just stepped into a special Shop, a shop where everything and everyone feels like they've entered a place like no other on SRP, with food which is unique to the asian culture and new foods that SRP hasn't seen before.

The atmosphere of the place will be made so that House Rostova would feel alive, this will be acquired by partnering with the Musical Groups in SchoolRP to get them to occasionally play at shop, an experience instead of just a place to buy things. House Rostova will also try to partner with other entities such as the Music Club in the school to try to help them expand and create money earning opportunities to broke students. The design will include spruce tables. The room will be filled with lots of plants and to top it off areas where people can come and play, arcade machine, pool table, etc.. I want the customers to enter the store and feel like anything they imagine can and will be possible. I will try to make it so that every two weeks or so there is a dish that is available until the next one arrives.

Immersive Role-play is one of the key features that will make House Rostova special. I don’t just want to hand a menu, leave and come back to take customer's orders. Instead, I want to interact with players in a way that makes every transaction fun and memorable.

What will you sell in your shop?:

Well in my shop I plan on selling anything that has anything to do with food and drinks. However I was first inspired by this idea because of a project that I have been doing in my economics class about the restaurants, bars and cafes in my area.

So i'm planning on selling :

- Russian and Japanese Dishes.
- Asian Beverages.
- Regular Beverages.
So I'm basically selling anything and everything that has to do with that theme.

HAH (6).png

Aside of me wanting there to be a mix of russian and japanese imperial themed dishes, I also want really fancy different drinks, Mocktails and other non-alcohol beverages, I think they will make my restaurant stand out.

APPS (7).png
credits to Tarkenta for the outfits!

How will your restaurant operate:?

Hosts will be the main element to make it all work. When a customer enters a restaurant, they will be seated in a precise seating area, the restaurant will be divided in three areas, the bottom, the middle, and the top. Each shift there will be only three cashiers at once and two hosts. One group after the other will be seated in an area, 1st group, the bottom, 2nd group, the middle and 3rd group, the top, then again and again.

Will there be any discounts:?

Yes, House Rostova will be giving discounts out on the following instances; If you are a family member, carrying the Rostova family name, you may receive a 20% discount, if you are a fellow shopkeeper, you will receive a 15% discount, if you are an employee you get a 15% discount and finally, on any special occasion there will be a 10% one.

What are the times that the restaurant will be open:?

To ensure that I meet the shopkeeper's quota of minimum 12 openings each month, I will open three to four times a week, the usual time will be Monday, Friday, Saturday and occasionally Wednesday. All openings will average about one hour of OOC time and will be held at times when both the shopkeeper and manager is available to open.

What are some cool events you will want to host:?

As the shopkeeper of House Rostova I will want to host various interesting and fun events.

ELEGANT WEDDING;

An event I would like to host would be an elegant wedding, House Rostova will cater any wedding and even offer their restaurant as a venue, the beverages and dishes will be provided. Depending on the number of guests the price can vary from 250,000 to 500,000 yen. This will also be a opportunity to reach out to other restaurant and see if any of them have cakes that they could provide.

MENU TASTING;

House Rostova will try to host a menu tasting event where for a mere fee of 75,000 yen per person, customers can come in and be served a set of dishes and act as food critics. Different dishes will be brought out to find out which dishes should integrate the specials menu of the next month. At the end of the meal there will be a voting poll where dishes can be chosen. The top 5 will get added into the menu.

CHARITY DONATION;

Another event if where all the specials of last month, if there are food items that have been left behind, instead of letting them rot away in a chest I would host a charity event where anyone can come and dine in the restaurant for free, only for those items. Only the dishes will be free as the beverages will keep their prices. All employees who will help during this event will be paid 75,000 yen each.

LIVE MUSIC;

As previously mentioned, I would like to partner with entities that play music, either a official club or a friend group, this entity will get paid a certain amount of money and in exchange during one opening they will be provided a stage and they will play live music for customers to enjoy alongside of their meals.

How will you train new employees:?

We will train new employees in a few ways, first they will be made aware of the structure and hierarchy of House Rostova, then they will be invited to join a VC in the discord server to explain to them how it worked, where things can be found and such. Then the shopkeeper (me) would go into a VC with them and explain how the Shop Panel works, this is important to ensure fluidity in the restaurant's work flow. Then they will be explained how the quota log works.

After all of that they will join an opening and be a trainee of the current employees, this will help them understand how it works and learn off of a seasoned employee.

How will you prepare your adverts. Give us a few examples:?

/advert "&lHOUSE ROSTOVA&r is hosting its &lgrand&r opening! Are you interesting in tasting delicious food prepared on the spot! Elegant food which was eaten by the previous Japanese and Russian Imperial Court? Come check us out at the Shopping District or follow these GPS coordinates 1708 17 576."

/advert "&lHOUSE ROSTOVA&r is opening once more with a &lnew specials menu&r which will rotate &monthly&r, come eat at our restaurant now before the specials are gone! Come check us out at the Shopping District or follow these GPS coordinates 1708 17 576."

Adverts will mostly be prepared by the shopkeeper, but sometimes the managers will get the possibility to also write their own adverts, during the shifts that they manage.

Will you have any employees who ensure the restaurant's security:?

Whilst House Rostova will not, directly have any employees who are in charge of only the security, we will have Hosts, these hosts will guide customers to their tables and enforce the rules of each shift. As they are the ones in the lobby if someone is already found to be breaking the rules they will be asked to leave and if customers are breaking the rules whilst eating they will also be asked to leave. Hosts will act as greeters, seat assigners and rule enforcers.

Are there any food items that you will implement into your menu:?

Yes, there are a few food items that I will want to 100% implement into the menu, especially Russian dishes as I know that there hasn't been that many restaurants if not any that have served Russian dishes on SRP.

IN CHARACTER SECTION

What is your full name?:

Katerina tipped her head forward at the interviewer. "Hello, my name is Katerina Rostova."

How old are you?:

The female pondered for a moment at the question then she opened her mouth and spoke. "I am currently twenty nine."

What is your nationality?:

The thirty four year old placed her hands on the table as she responded to the question. "I was born and raised in Russia."

Give us your backstory:

Katerina Rostova born in St. Petersburg, Russia. Being one of the Rostova descendants guaranteed her wealth; being born into an aristocratic family with ties to the former Russian Imperial Court allowed her to see things from a different perspective. Katerina’s great-grandmother served as the lady-in-waiting to the last Tsarina, this position assured that her family would get immense status and wealth. This also held her at a high position in the Russian Imperial Court. Everything changed after the revolution hit in Russia, her grandfather fled Russia at the time and settled in Paris. Whilst in Paris he met an elegant Japanese woman from Kyoto from noble lineage. The both nobles loved each other so much that their marriage was inevitable. This powerful marriage blended Imperial Russian and Japanese culture, creating an aristocratic heritage.

When Katerina was born, she grew up surrounded by powerful nobles and was held at a high status. She was forced to learn how to have proper etiquette which stuck to her to this day. One day, in the manor where she resided, she went into the basement, stumbling upon multiple books of family recipes which were passed down throughout generations, the books held elegant dishes which were cooked for both the Russian and Japanese Imperial Courts. One day her father caught her in the kitchen and scolded her for not attending her actual duties, whilst being scolded her Japanese grandmother appeared and told her father off. Since that day Katerina stuck to her grandmother like glue, she was elegant, protective, powerful and influential which made her a parental figure in Katerina’s eyes. At the same time her Japanese grandmother taught her how to cook properly and different dishes, she always said that it was a form of art, diplomacy and storytelling. This ended up with Katerina basically growing up in a kitchen, she learned the precision of Japanese cooking and the richness of Russian flavours.

When Katerina turned eighteen she went to Moscow for university, her grandmother helped her convince her father to go to a culinary arts and hospitality management university. When she graduated her father finally accepted her love for cooking and got her a job at a high-end Japanese restaurant. She worked there for a few years until she turned twenty four. Katerina took a break year and travelled through Europe where she then ended up moving to Yokohama, Japan. When there she was approached and asked to work at a prestigious Japanese restaurant which had been trying to earn a Michelin star. Katerina slowly climbed the ranks in the restaurant and at twenty six she was the head chef and had earned the restaurant its first Michelin star. The Japanese and Russian women of noble lineage worked right until she was twenty nine, however slowly she felt like her family’s culinary legacy was being lost to modernisation so she decided she needed to move.

Katerina heard about the Karakura island as being a place where old traditions come to life, she sought after that exactly and decided it was time to move to the cozy island. She also wanted to open her very own restaurant which strove for people to experience both of her cultures and at the same time be witness to an elegant, nature themed restaurant where these Imperial dishes were cooked on the regular. She also chose Karakura because she knew that the island was full of diverse influences and had a community which valued unique experiences.

To honour her family name, Katerina named the restaurant after her surname, House Rostova. She felt like this name honoured her dual heritage. It was designed to feel like people would step into an old-world imperial dining hall, elegant, warm, timeless and full of nature. Her main goal was to offer dishes unique to karakura, which blended Russian imperial cuisine with Japanese aristocratic flavours. She desired the restaurant to feel like not only a place to spend money and gather to eat but also a place where people can connect with others and enjoy live music and culture exchanges.

This starts Katerina’s journey in becoming a shopkeeper and upholding a restaurant.

If a customer is making a scene how will you act:?

The russian and japanese female tilted her head ever so slightly. "If a customer is causing a scene I would ask them what the issue is, upon hearing it I will make sure to fix it, if a employee scammed them, took their money and didn't give them their food then I would just fire them, give the customer(s) a refund and give them their food. However, if a customer is breaking the restaurant's rules and they refuse to listen to the employee after being told to leave, I will step in and warn them that if they do not comply, officers of the Karakura Police Department will be called and legal action could be pursued."
