The most reliable way to earn money as a student is working for Robert Smith's Fishing Enterprise. He's selling fishing rods at the two most prominent fishing locations. When you're older, you can apply for jobs when you meet a shop-owner. (You also get salary when you join an adult member faction.)

There are a few ways to get a job/money making on the server and I will make a list of what they are below!

1. Server Factions
With the server, you can apply for Police, EMS, Government, Teacher, etc etc. But you need to make an application and follow the format for each section, LINK to Applications, clicking the link to the side will bring you to all the different applications you can fill out. All applications(Minus Professor and Teacher as they are checked monthly and Employees as they are checked when Kimi has time) will announce in their assigned discord when they will check applications. You can send in your application at ANY TIME but if it isn't announced on them accepting spots, it won't be checked. You will get paid monthly if you have reached the quota in your said faction once accepted.

2. Auction House Flipping / Fishing
This is a bit more self-explanatory, Auction Flipping is when you buy an item off an auction house and put it back on the auction for a HIGHER price, this can be slow at making money and sometimes items wont sell and you have to re-put it back up and wait. Fishing is like what Erik said, you can buy a fishing rod for 2k(At the pier at the beach or the shed in the forest) and you can fish until your inv is full, then you just sell it back to the fishermen. Additionally, if you do not have /feed(F+ rank) you can cook and eat the fish to raise up your food levels! Good to raise your fishing skills, money, and food!

3. Shop Workers
On the Town Discord, you can join the shop's discords and apply for the shop as a worker. Cash flow can vary as it all depends on how much you make on shift and positions don't open often. So you need to be in the discord to make sure you get the announcement on when they open applications.

4. Crime Related
This is more on the risky side of the server as this could result in getting perms on your character, so do this side with caution(Crime rules can be located on Rules 6-9, you should read the rules regardless). But, you can do a few things with this; Scamming people, reselling weapons/masks, KO-ing people and taking 5k, Joining Crime Related jobs like Fight Club, Bounty Hunting, Betting on Street Races, Gambling in Ikigai club, and more. Again, this is risky so please make sure you know how to protect yourself and go about it with caution.

5. Just play!!
Every 30 mins you get (X money) from your allowance, so the more you play the more money you can make! The time stops as soon as your tag turns AFK, so you have to make sure you are active on the server to get the money!

If I have missed anything, anyone can correct me just by replying to my particular post! I think I covered most of the different ways to make money within the server! Thank you for reading my Ted Talk

Finding a job when money’s tight can definitely be tricky. I’ve been there too. One thing that helped me was setting up job alerts on sites like Indeed or LinkedIn. You can filter them to match your skills and location, which saves a lot of time.

Also, consider checking out real cash games. I tried a few where I could earn some extra money while playing, which was a nice boost. It’s not a replacement for a job, but it can help with some immediate needs.

For shops as I can say im well regulated within them, they will usually host interviews every 2-6 months usually with some even near a year without doing any hiring. Im afraid you did just miss out on sayonara as we are hiring however they ended today so you wouldn't be able to be accepted in this wave. Sayonara usually does hiring the most because we don't hire excess employees.
