Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are the stepping stone for students in SchoolRP, whether they joined the server for the first time or are trying to age their character up and go to college, teachers are what help them with all of it. For people who just joined the server, teachers are what shows them what this server is really about. Teachers are probably the first people that newbies see and learn from when they want to RP properly. In a way, teacher are what teach the newbies of the server how RP on this server actually works. Teachers showcase what this server actually means, they're the first step to understanding how this server actually works. They build a proper environment in class for students to grow properly, letting them bloom and understand how RP truly works, letting them communicate and maybe even create meaningful connections in class, improving both their social and roleplay skills through a interactive classroom experience.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?:
Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?:
Yes
What is your motivation for becoming a Teacher?:
My motivation for becoming a teacher is that i believe a teacher to be one of the most important roles within SchoolRP. Why? it's simple, quite literally everything depends on the teachers... okay not everything but like, Students want to experience RP for the first time but aren't good at socalizing? or maybe students trying to get into college, all of these students depend on the Teachers and not to mention, when you first join this server, you join as a student. The role that is heavily relied on both oocly and icly is a teacher. Having played both grade-7 character to all the way to grade-12 and college characters, I know how important the teachers role really is and being able to create a environment for new rpers to join and experience the server would be really exiciting for me. I've seen teachers interact with students in class and witnessing such a thing i've realised i've always wanted to do the same. As such i would love to have the opportunity to positively impact other peoples roleplaying experience but becoming a teacher and helping people carve a proper path for their characters.

What's your character's full name?:
Arthur would smile before immediately speaking up “My name’s Arthur Đordević-Takeshima, but I'd prefer to just be called Arthur.” He then went forward, offering a handshake before immediately sitting back down.
What is your character's age?:
Arthur seemed to slightly… cough? appearing to be seemingly nervous about… his own age?? “I’m.. 26. I don’t know what it is but I keep hearing the word ‘UNC’ in my head every time I say my own age out loud… it’s because of the kids these days I swear..”
What is your preferred subject to teach?:
English
Describe your character:
Arthur would stand before the interviewers, at a whooping 7’0 tall, with strong blonde hair flowing down almost reaching his waist. His hair would appear to be very wavy with a slightly red tint at the tips of his hair and a very noticeable purple highlight at the front. His pale ash-coloured eyes would completely focus on the interviewer's face with a very defined facial structure quite literally masking his slightly intimidating presence in front of the interviewer. It was obvious just from a glance that Arthur appeared to be a serious individual, trying to come off as understanding as possible and make sure everyone's taken care of, including himself. Though he had a bit of a humor, he tended to always listen and make sure everyone felt heard. What made Arthur truly himself was his love for children, he wasn’t sure how it ended up like this, but having taken care of children, siblings mainly, he seemed to just love having to spend time and take care of children. Even though he used to dislike children… it seems a small change of heart had occurred. People even called him quite the family man, to the point he even becomes 'slightly' aggresive with anything involving his family and the word 'danger'. Arthur would slightly shift his legs, his deep voice, soundingly calm as his eyes met with the interviewers. “Well, my plans for the future are to continue working around literature and language while teaching it properly. I’d love to help students discover their creative side with English like writing, storytelling, poetry, public speaking… Things that allow people to express themselves a bit more with confidence” He paused for a moment, resting his arm against the chair before continuing. “I’ve always been drawn to languages, especially English… long known by many across the world and it’s only right that the kids of karakura know how to speak english fluently as well. English has always been more than a subject to me, it was a language that helped connect multiple people, allowing people to communicate with one another, no matter what background it is that they came from” His expression slightly softened as he continued “My biggest motivation for becoming a english teacher definitely came from watching my own mother teach. My mother Hoshina Takeshima is a maths teacher and if it wasn’t for her.. I wouldn’t even be here and ironically enough wouldn’t be as good as I was at maths. That’s why I believe, with a good teacher, anybody can change their path, no matter what past they have. Which is why I would like to be that teacher for them.”

Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Arthur would quickly notice the student’s confusion and move on trying to focus on as many students as possible and pay more attention to finishing his lesson, hoping for the student to find his way on his own. He'd still keep a subtle eye on that student to see if his confusion continues. As he moves around the classroom, his sharp grey eyes would briefly observe over the same student who appeared to still be confused, noticing the student's hesitation and uncertain glances toward the other students. He’d approach that student letting out a quiet sigh, before lowering himself slightly to their level so he wouldn’t seem as intimidating as his appearance made him out to be. “Are you finding something difficult?” he’d ask in a low but composed voice, trying to keep his tone patient and not appear to be too strict. “It’s alright. I’ll help you through it again.” If the student appeared to still be unsure then Arthur would carefully explain each step one by one, instead of trying not to overwhelm them with information all at once. Rather than simply giving them the answer, he’d guide them towards understanding the answer themselves, occasionally using proper examples that the student would seem familiar with. “There’s no reason to panic over such simple mistakes,” he’d add calmly as he is slightly leaning against the side of the desk. “English is all about interpretation and confidence. Everyone understands things at different speeds. So trust me when I say, if you're slow, it’s not your fault… take your time.” If the student appeared to lack confidence speaking or presenting their ideas, Arthur would encourage them while maintaining a supportive classroom atmosphere, ensuring all of the students felt comfortable participating without fear of embarrassment or judgment.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Arthur would immediately pause, his expression trying to remain calm as his sharp gaze fell upon those disruptive students. The classroom would become silent as he slowly moved towards them, with a pen in his hand, letting the silence linger in the classroom, further increasing his presence as he walked up to them, hoping they would correct themselves, before he had to do it himself. He'd let out a sigh, before walking towards them, keeping a proper distance away from them, envisioning on how to properly make them behave. "Students, you're not the only one in this class." He'd say, trying to stay as firm as possible. His deep voice drawing attention without even having to raise his voice. "I'm not sure about you guys, but the other students here are trying to focus. So, calm yourselves." Arthur would give them a disappointed look "Continue to disrupt the lesson and I'll have to take serious action." If the behavior continues, Arthur would issue a warning while remaining composed. Should they ignore his warning, he was ready to hand then the detention slip. He would continue to observe the earlier disruptive students, if they stopped disturbing the class then he'd move on and try to finish his lesson. If not and the students keep disrupting the class even after multiple warnings, His tone would change becoming more noticeably firm as he placed a detention slip on each of the disruptive students task. "You did this to yourself. I am done with just simple warnings now." After properly dealing with the disruptive students, he'd go back to teaching his class.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Interactive Class Idea #1: Fictional Frontmans
"There's always a TV show with a ending that people weren't really satisified with... or maybe even a character that wasn't finished off properly. Now let's say you got the chance to rewrite that ending or character? what would you have done? and that's exactly what this activity is going to be about. Each team will be assigned a TV show... let's say for example, how about 'How I met your mother?' Now I'd let the team decide on how they'd make the tv shows ending better and after they're prepared they'll come forward and present infront of the whole class. It'll be a great team building activity, helping them think, organize and even help with their public speaking skills. Since we're going to be talking about TV shows, it'll make it much more easier for people to talk about their intrests freely as well... like who hasn't watched 'How I met your mother?' haha... anyways It'd be a great way for students to interact with one another as well as learn how to interact with the audience, further increasing their social skills, as well as helping them build their teamwork, confidence and critical thinking skills."
Interactive Class Idea #2: Creative Stories
"The premise is quite simple, each student will be given a book with a simple starting line. Where they go with that line is completely upto them. Basically, every student in class will be given the same starting line and will be told to create a story with a propery ending using the same starting line, creating multiple different stories with variations and completely different endings. It'll be a activity that helps showcase each students individuality as well as help students understand themselves better. All they get is one line and using that they're going to have to let their imagination run wild. It's completely upto them on what the genres going to be or how many characters there are. This activity will let us learn more about each student invidiually and maybe even showcase their creativity as well as writing skills. Of course there's no point in writing a story without telling it to anyone... so i'll roughly go through each story and choose the best three to present in class. You could even call it my own sort of hunger games in a very roundabout sort of way "
Interactive Class Idea #3: Scene Recreation
"I'll be dividing the students into teams of four or more, one member from each team will be given an iconic scene or a line from a famous tv show or a book, each person from the team will be renacting that famous scene and everybody else will be trying to guess what that scene is. For example, a team could get the very iconic line 'Luke, I am your father!' and the person chosen from the team will have to renacte that scene with no words whatsoever, only relying on his facial expressions. This will showcase how non-verbal communication as well facial expressions are often disregarded and how extremely valuable they are while telling a story. This activity could be used to improve confidence, creativity and help students understand emotions much more easily, since they get to immerse themselves as characters they've only seen in tv shows or books."
Interactive Class Idea #4: Character Interviews In Real Life
"A short activity involving students and their partners. Each student will pick a partner and the partner will choose any fictional character of their liking. The two students will now be divided between two different roles, a interviewer who interviews the character and the roleplayer who's playing as the character. The interviewers job will be to making it seem like a proper interview, asking them questions like how any other normal interview, where as the roleplayers job will be to stay in character the whole time and answer the questions while staying in character. It'll greatly help students improve not just their communication and social skills, but also their acting skills and the ability to understand one's character much better."
