As Yui Tsu sat idle in an unknown turf, bound by chains and covered in dried blood, she seemed to recall a memory of her past.
(Thunder struck, and the power went out.)
“MAMA… MAMA COME QUICK!”
“What is it darling? What happened?” (Ohara Sang said as she scooped her child up in her arms.)
“There was a loud noise, and everything went dark..! Mama.. I’m scared…” (Yui buried her face into her mother’s arms.)
(Ohara grabs her daughter by the shoulders, looking Yui in the eyes.)
“Now listen my darling… You are a very brave girl. Remember this my little sakura bloom, being brave is not the absence of fear. It is having that fear and finding a way through it.” (Ohara kissed her child’s forehead.) “And do not forget this… I will always be with you…”
Yui laid her head back against the cold iron fence, finally closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep, where her nightmares were no better than the cold, dark place she was sat in.
