What is your motivation for applying?:
I’ve currently experienced most types of roleplay on the server. From normal StudentRP all the way to MedicalRP but I haven’t really experienced PoliceRP that well even though I did have a short spell back when I first joined the server. I was really inexperienced back then but I’ve very much matured and furthered my knowledge of RP and generally understood the server much better. I believe that my qualities as a roleplayer and my dedication to the role and 7 full months of SRP experience is what will make me stand out more than the other applicants. I’m really excited to experience PoliceRP once again and I hope you find me suitable for this role.

Do you understand Japanese Laws and Basic Conduct?
Yes, I understand the Japanese Laws and Basic Conduct

What are the Police ranks?
[From the lowest to highest]

-Police Cadet-
The Cadet is the default/first rank given to a newly appointed police officer. A Cadet’s job mainly consists of Front Desk Work like writing reports, taking in bail money, or protective custody. Sometimes, Cadets are asked to take mugshots, do inmate care, or go on patrols with Patrol Officers.

-Patrol Officer-
The rank right after the cadet, given to those who pass the cadet test. They hold the same job as the Cadets with the exception of being able to patrol the city alone and conduct arrests as well as take cadets on Patrols.

-Corporal-
The Corporal is basically a more experienced version of the Patrol Officers. They supervise the work of the ranks under them i.e. Cadets, Patrol Officers under the command of the Sergeants.

-Sergeant-
Police Sergeants present the first line of supervisors in the police force. They perform all the duties of a police officer as well as supervise, coordinate, and guide police officers and other department employees in their daily activities.

-Lieutenant-
The Lieutenant is the first rank that is given the name “Higher-up”. Those who hold this rank get access to the exclusive “Glock-17” and “Police Cruiser”

-Head Lieutenant-
This rank is responsible to take care of all the police-officer ranks under them. This rank is mainly achieved by being extremely trust-worthy and dedicated to the police force.

-Captain-
The Police Captain is responsible for such activities as Inspecting and overseeing the functions of the Patrol Officers or Investigators.

-Commissioner-
The Police Commissioner is a senior rank in the police force. They control everything that happens and takes place within the police faction. Everything is done by their command.

Detective division
[lowest to highest]:

-Detective Constable-
The Detective Constable is responsible for, directing and participating in criminal investigations. Assessing a range of information and data, to come to precise choices. Developing strategies for managing investigations.

-Detective Sergeant-
A police officer who investigates crime and who ranks above a detective constable but below a detective-chief inspector. Is responsible for Assisting in departmental training activities. Performs investigations on most major incidents, crimes, and accidents, and oversees the investigation done by others in the department.

-Detective-Chief Inspector-
Chief Inspectors manage large teams of inspectors, sergeants, constables, and police staff. They may be the most senior operational response officer or manage assigned specialist policing functions such as investigations.

-Detective Superintendent-
The highest role in the detective division. A Detective Superintendent is responsible for the coordination and management of serious crime investigations and the protection of vulnerable people.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
Once promoted to the position of Police Cadet, a cadet will undergo multiple training sessions in order to enhance their abilities to be able to perform well during real situations. Alongside this, they are to remain at the front desk to take reports, bail prisoners or bring in civilians for meetings. Once done with training, they are tested to become a Patrol Officer. As soon as they pass the test, they hold the position of Patrol Officer which holds the job of patrolling around the city ensuring everything is good and no one is being hurt or harassed. Next up, Corporal. Once promoted to Corporal, the officer is set to become either an Informational or Physical trainer, each having their own job and duties. Next up, Sergeant. A higher rank than Corporal but essentially having very similar duties.

At this point, the officer is met with the choice of joining the Detective Division or becoming a Lieutenant. Each division has their own duties and tasks. Although the Lieutenants are considered the higher rank in the faction, the Detectives tend to do far more work than them and most of the faction rely on them.

Generally, an officer’s role is to serve and protect. They are to arrest culprits, raid apartments, or take out whole gangs. They must assure order and that justice is served. They truly put their lives on the line for the protection of the city hence why not everyone is qualified for this job. In the end, remember to protect and serve.

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
The Police Factions is considered the most important faction on the server for multiple reasons. The first and main one is the constant increasing GangRP activity and the growing numbers of GangRPers by the day. These people are always in the hopes of committing multiple crimes, and felonies putting citizens’ lives at risk and causing terror and fear throughout society. It’s the Police Officers’ jobs to put a stop to this and assure order and provide protection to all Karakura Citizens. There are several ways to perform this task by arresting crime-committing culprits and providing an accordant punishment for their actions. Performing this will ensure a safe, sheltered and secure environment for all those who live within the city.

Do you acknowledge that you're subject to being demoted if accepted at any given time?
I acknowledge the concept of demotion and respect it.

Do you acknowledge that applying for this role, you are agreeing to be 100% dedicated to the Police Officer role?
I acknowledge this fact and will do my absolute best to remain as dedicated as possible.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are authorized to attend or you will be punished [Demoted]?
Yes, I fully acknowledge this. I am to tend all my training, trying my best not to miss one.

Do you acknowledge that you’re subject to IC harassment, and you are NOT to take things OOCly when dealing with training & situations?
Yes. Dealing with IC harassment should remain in IC and bringing IC into OOC or vice versa is considered rule-breaking and demotable. I am to avoid this too.

- BACKSTORY -

Hinote Kotaro was born in Kyoto, Japan where he lived with his older brother Onoji. Later on, his younger brother Satoru was born. The three brothers lived together in a middle-class family with their mother and father. They all went to the same school where they received their basic education. Their family began slowly running into multiple financial issues and their mother and father were no longer able to pay for the school they used to go to in Kyoto. They decided to move to another Japanese city by the name of Karakura. They all lived together in a small apartment in the shopping district and began their life over again.

Onoji was worried about the family’s financial status. He refused to go to school because he wanted to work to support the family more. He also refused to get help from any of his brothers. He preferred to keep his business a secret. Hinote and Satoru later enrolled in Karakura Highschool where both of them excelled in many different subjects and sports. Their main focus was Law and Criminology. They always used to study together and share notes which helped both of them excel even more in said subjects.

Later on, the two graduated high-school and applied for College and were accepted almost immediately due to their outstanding performances in High-School. They continued their study in Law and Criminology but Hinote also began learning Korean as a side hobby next to his main subject. After many long years in college, they joined the KPD’s internship program and began furthering their knowledge of Police Work. After finally graduating from College, Hinote applied for the Department and so did Satoru. They hope to be able to work with their current knowledge and further improve it to become memorable officers in the department.
