What is your motivation to apply for reporter?:
To be honest, I never thought myself to be interested in becoming a reporter. By observing reports around the server, I began to understand the amount of effort and creativity that goes into each report. Witnessing the process of stories being told by taking interviews, screenshots, and even the editing process itself made me realize how much I enjoyed this kind of work. When I first came onto this server, I remember getting my first ever newspaper and reading it. It made me feel connected to the world around me while also being fascinated by the ability for reporters to portray so much through their work that other players might have missed. Little did I know, that would inspire me more than I could have imagined. Outside of roleplay, I am very interested in journalism along with graphic design. I have done pamphlets, posters, and business cards before in the past, so I have prior experience on both of these fields, which is why this faction is so appealing to me. Not many places allow you to combine both roleplay and creativity as one.
The thing I like most about reporting is the entire process of putting an article together. From research, interviews, and screenshots, all the way to the final copy of the article, I love every aspect of it. It's about documenting the history of the server and providing its community with articles they can enjoy. I believe my creativity and attention to detail along with my motivation and inspiration to produce excellent content will make me a great fit for this amazing faction.
Do you have any experience with writing? What is your relationship with writing?: I have substantial experience with writing, both in terms of roleplay and my own works. I enjoy writing, and strive to make my writing engaging, easy to follow, and comprehensive. When writing roleplays, reports, and other written works, I put effort into making the writing understandable and entertaining for the reader. In addition, prior to writing any work, especially reports or articles, I enjoy doing research to ensure that I have a thorough understanding of the topic that I am writing about, which enables me to produce high-quality works. The relationship that I have with writing is one of constant self-improvement; I enjoy getting feedback on my writing and working on making my writing better with each piece that I do. Overall, I enjoy writing as a hobby, but also value it as a tool, and believe that I would be suited well for this position due to my ability to deliver high-quality, engaging articles and reports.
Are you aware of - and will follow - the set of rules provided to you?: Yes I am fully aware.
Why should we accept you over others?: I believe I should be hired because I care about investing time and effort into the things I do, and do not like to rush my work so that I can deliver something I am truly proud of Whatever I do, I put all my efforts into completing and perfecting it until I feel that it is up to a standard I have set for myself. I enjoy graphic design, so I also have the ability to produce nice looking articles. I also have many other skills, along with my experience of working on various other factions. I am also trustworthy, as I am willing to learn and improve myself, and accept constructive criticism, since I realize that I will have to meet certain standards for this faction. I don't see this as only another faction to join. I see this as a chance to provide quality content, witness and write down memorable events that occur on the server, and provide articles that others would enjoy reading. I will make sure that if I have the job, I will give my best effort when doing the stories every time I am assigned one.
Do you understand you have to stay completely neutral with all reports? (Your report can't have any OOC or IC bias towards a specific group.) Yes I do understand.
Do you trust that you will be able to stay active and complete the monthly quota?: Yes.
Summarise what you imagine work as a reporter is: I think the job of reporters can be regarded as highly complex and creative. A reporter has the primary obligation to document all the events occurring on the server accurately and intriguingly for all the community members. They have to do thorough research on specific topics, attend various events and meet players to interview them, collect screenshots, double-check all the details, and create appealing stories. As for me, I believe that reporters should act professionally and remain unbiased when covering certain topics or cases. In addition, it is their responsibility to provide the community with relevant information, keep track of all the highlights and lowlights, and give players a reason to be constantly updated on all the events occurring in the server. Altogether, I perceive a reporter as a professional who uses his skills and creativity to deliver high-quality content to the audience.

Treat this section like it is your own character answering it

Full Name: Kaito Koji
Preferred Name/Nickname and Title (e.g., Ms, Mr)
Current Age (25+): 25
Past job/work experience: None currently/
Degree/qualifications: College.
Nationality and born location: I was born in Karakura.
Phone Number: 030-830-1463
How would you describe yourself in under 150 words?: I would describe myself as a calm, responsible, and reliable individual. I have always strived to maintain a composed image in public and deal wisely with all events. I am a careful and calculating person who prefers not to make rash decisions and take into account all the details before taking any significant steps. I am a sincere and consistent person who honors all commitments and strives to do my best in whatever I do. I have a thorough and precise working style, which has allowed me to achieve good results in my work, be it writing, graphic design, or working with other people. I am quite modest and reserved in my youth, but I am friendly and supportive in my professional activities. I believe in self-development and the constant acquisition of new skills; I am quite flexible and easygoing in working with others. I always strive to work not only to achieve the desired result but also to contribute to the client’s work and show my involvement in the project. I see the task to be completed as an adventure that opens up great opportunities for professional growth. I am glad to take criticism and learn from it. I would describe myself as a diligent and honest person who is committed to continuous development and professional growth and works not only for their benefit but also for the benefit of other people.
What are you interested in writing about? How will you achieve this, and would you consider going out of your comfort zone?: I think the most interesting things to write about would be something important, someone important, and some story worth telling. Every person has his or her tale and every event has its details that not everyone pays attention to, which I think is why it would be a reporter’s job to seek those details and tell them accurately and interestingly. I would do that by talking to the sources, double-checking facts and information before publishing, and seeing the events with my own eyes if needed. I think it is essential to be accurate and professional, and, of course, to be interesting if needed. In addition, if there are any obstacles between me and the story that needs to be known or if I have to leave my comfort zone for it, I will not be afraid to overcome them. There should not be anything a reporter cannot do if it is for the sake of finding and delivering the truth.
What are your expectations for the job?: I expect this job to be challenging in the sense that it requires a professional approach, a lot of patience, and attention to detail. Being a journalist, therefore, I feel responsible for publishing only the most relevant and well-presented stories. Thus, I intend to attend all the events necessary, interview and ask the right questions, and double-check every piece before publishing it. Moreover, I expect this position to be challenging since it provides a chance to meet new people and improve my skills with each issue. Nevertheless, I hope to meet the expectations of the newspaper’s management by publishing relevant and engaging stories filled with vital information that accurately describes what happens in Karakura.

Interview – Late Night Stabbing Near the Shopping District
Reporter: Kaito Koji
Interviewee: Anonymous stranger (Witness)
Kaito Koji: Thank you for your time. First of all, could you tell the readers where you were when the crime was taking place?
Stranger: I was walking around the Shopping District late at night. As it usually happens during that time, there wasn’t much traffic until I realized that there was a crowd forming around the building.
Kaito Koji: What attracted your attention there?
Stranger: At first, I heard someone shouting. In fact, I thought that they were just fighting. However, when people started running away and realizing that something was happening, it became apparent.
Kaito Koji: Were you able to see the attack taking place?
Stranger: I could see the attack itself, but it happened so fast. In fact, when I arrived there, the victim was already lying on the ground.
Kaito Koji: Was there more than one attacker?
Stranger: It was hard to tell. There were more than one person around the victim, but I could not see their faces clearly.
Kaito Koji: How did the suspects behave when they saw you approaching?
Stranger: The group of them ran away as fast as they could. In fact, it took a while for the police to arrive and chase them.
Kaito Koji: How did other people react to the attack?
Stranger: Some were stunned for a second or two. Nevertheless, it did not take long before someone called the police. In the meanwhile, one or two members of the crowd tried to help the victim.
Kaito Koji: Were the emergency services quick at arriving at the crime scene?
Stranger: Indeed, they were. They took good care of the victim and transported him/her to the hospital.
Kaito Koji: Do you see any particular sign that might help the police catch those responsible for the attack?
Stranger: Unfortunately, there was not much to see. In addition, it was getting dark, so I did not see their faces clearly.
Kaito Koji: Have you already reported the incident to the police?
Stranger: Yes, I did. In fact, I gave them a description of the suspects. Although it was not much, I felt it was my responsibility to do something.
Kaito Koji: How did the event affect your attitude toward the Shopping District?
Stranger: Honestly speaking, I thought that it was one of the safest places in Karakura. Nevertheless, I guess I will be double checking around me when walking in the evening.
Kaito Koji: Do you think that additional measures should be taken in order to assure safety?
Stranger: Yes, I do. For instance, more Karakura police officers should be patrolling the area, or the street lights should be brighter.
Kaito Koji: What would you say to other witnesses in regard to this specific case?
Stranger: I think that they should not stay silent because of my statement. After all, they might have seen more than I did. By staying silent, they would contribute to the crime going unpunished.
Kaito Koji: What is your opinion concerning the victim?
Stranger: I hope that he/she is okay. After all, nobody should suffer because of something like that, especially because of strangers.
Kaito Koji: In conclusion, is there something else that you would like to say to the people of Karakura?
Stranger: Pay more attention, look around, and help when needed. In the end, there is strength in unity.
