Rosalie Martin here, updating on the latest!

Bear sightings have significantly increased as of recently. However with the rising sightings, so do the attacks.

The Grizzly Bears are known for their thick beautiful brown fur with silvery tips, large paws, and a dished concave face. The grizzlies are found in various places around the world. Their diet is mostly made up of fish, berries, and nuts, the Grizzlies most likely found their way here in Karakura to scavenge the forest, and scrounge up what goodies are leftover from the campsite.

Popular among many cultures, Bears have made influences as inspiration for cartoon characters, Symbols, and much more. Bears also play an important part in ecosystems as a
Keystone species, fertilize the forest dragging fish and animal carcasses throughout the forests.

While these beautiful furry creatures may urge some to seek out the grizzlies, this is highly urged not to do so. Grizzly bears are known for their predatory behaviors, after stalking their prey for various times their most common way of taking down their prey is to bite into the neck or back or strike the back with their massive paws.

The best way to avoid running into them while camping or hiking would be to pick up after yourself, don't leave a trail of crumbs or trash for grizzlies to pick up on, and while camping keeps food locked away in a cooler, and hanging high up in the trees out of reach. After that, being aware of your surroundings, keeping your distance, and taking precautions to avoid startling a bear are all great ways to stay safe. Also, Keeping a far distance from cubs is a vital thing. Bears with cubs are much more protective, and more likely to attack if they feel threatened. If you run into cubs, even if you don't see a mother bear around, the best thing to do would be to turn the other way.
