What a bad day to be a commissioner, huh? Or maybe he’s the luckiest one in the ballroom. A few weeks ago, Commissioner Schwarz fell victim to a severe gang attack which resulted in him losing his entire leg. Thankfully, with the help of EMS and the police on scene, Schwarz was able to get his leg reattached.
[!] A camera began rolling – Teruyoshi Mizoroge, a pale man with an eyepatch and a cigarette in his mouth, sat before the camera. [!]
[Mizoroge]: “On a gloomy day in Karakura, Schwarz and a few selected officers responded to a report of over 40+ people hanging out at the infamous power plant. This led to another KPD officer, Detective Chief Inspector Vasylenko, to suffer a serious blow to the neck. - Schwarz and Vasylenko were rushed to the hospital where they continue to heal from an attack as cruel as this one was.”
[!] Teruyoshi adjusted his tie, and his sick eyepatch, before panning back into the camera. [!]
[Mizoroge]: “Soon after he was discharged, Commissioner Yeager Schwarz set out to sue the seven people involved; their names above. According to Schwarz himself, a handful of the individuals were masked and carried several weapons on them. What started from a single tase shot, one that missed might I say, led to Yonio’s leg getting hacked off by the one who clutched the katana – Midori K. Densetsu. A handful of criminals - Jordyn Y. Takada and his “crew” surrounded the officer as they took turns beating their bats over his head – an attempt at knocking him unconscious.”
[Mizoroge]: “Shortly after removing Schwarz’s leg, the gang moved on to its next victim – Vasylenko.”
[!] Teruyoshi took another pause, taking a drag from his burning cigarette before setting off once more. Really? Smoking on the job? [!]
[Mizoroge]: “Anywho, back to the current timeline where we stand. Detective Hakasada, another detective on scene, stepped forth with his thoughts on everything that had occurred that night. Hakasada’s attempt at recalling that day struck him, claiming he was nervous. He goes way back with the officers, so it’s only fair to feel as such. Schwarz is attempting to sue the group for 2 million yen, which he swore to donate to charity if granted.”
[Mizoroge]: “Let’s lighten the mood a little, yeah? Lawyer Silvio Russo slid the rest of his case notes into the bin, isn’t that just funny? Oh.. Wait, is he crying? Uhm.”
[!] A brief pause, followed with a heavy sigh. Was he laughing? No.. He cleared his throat and moved on. [!]
[Mizoroge]: “Sorry, back to the topic.”
[Mizoroge]: “The trial was going alright, up until an officer escorted Cyrus Silesius back to his seat. Cyrus took advantage of the situation and held the officer hostage, threatening to harm him if someone stepped forward. Cyrus then proceeded to strangle the police officer, pinning him down until he fell unconscious. A fellow reporter, Jim Yasushi, caught the entire thing on film – proceed with caution.”
[Yasushi]: “. . Right, thank you Mizoroge.”
[!] The camera panned to him, who was sitting just off to the side in the news set. [!]
[Yasushi]: “As per usual, I'm here to show the video footage and explain what youre seeing. As stated above, Cyrus Silensius got behind DCI Sasha Vasylenko and quote on quote ‘held him hostage’ .. when really he spued threats and tried to choke him out. From there several attempts were made to tase the man in custody, three of which attempts hit Vasylenko instead of Cyrus. The video of this will be shown .. now”
[!] A video began playing, showing Schwarz momentarily removing his glock from its holster, before returning it back. [!]
[Tsu]: ?!?!?!?!
[!] Sasha Vasylenko went and tried to cuff Cyrus to the table, however he fought back, eventually overpowering Sasha. From there he went behind the DCI and placed his cuffs around his neck, pulling back attempting to choke him. [!]
[Silesius]: “DONT MOVE OR HE DIES!”
[Tsu]: “ORDER IN THE COURT, SOMEONE TASE HIM ALREADY.”
[!] Numerous onlookers in the court began yelling and chatting, the topic of pulling out a gun and firing shots at the inmate began to be spued. As this was going on, Silesius began to pull further back with his cuffs, choking Vasylenko harder. [!]
[!] Officer Hakasada moved forward to tase the individual .. but missed, striking the DCI instead. [!]
[???]: “STOP MAKING THIS WORSE FOR YOURSELF DUMBASS!” (assumingly to Silesius)
[Tsu]: “TAKE HIM BACK TO THE STATION, NOW”
[!] As this was all going on, Lawyers, governors and judges alike moved back in deslief, many watching in shock and others consoling each other. [!]
[???]: “PULL THE GLOCK OUT!”
[???]: “KILL HIM!”
[Asogi]: “CAN WE ALL SIT DOWN PLEASE?!”
[!] Several other tasing attempts when off… until one finally took Silesius down. From there the officers moved in, however it wasnt over. Silesius still had his cuffs around Vasylenko’s neck. [!]
[???]: “MURDER!”
[!] The audience kept getting riled up, many of which began stating not so .. nice comments about KPD’s efforts to stop the situation. At this point the camera angle moved as Yasushi checked to be sure it was recording, he raised it up higher so a better view of the scene was present. At this time, Mayor Sturm began to get involved. [!]
[Sturm]: “GET HIM OUT OF MY DAMN COURT ROOM”
[Heddo]: “GET HIM BACK TO THE STATION NOW”
[!] Deputy-Mayor Tsu proceeded to pretty much smash her gavel down onto the stand. [!]
[Tsu]: “I WILL HAVE ORDER IN MY COURT. Everyone REMAIN SEATED”
[!] Silensius managed to get up, he attempted to dash behind officer Omori .. and did so successfully. However his win was short lived, as Officer Santen tased him, which was soon followed by him being knocked out. It is then seen as officers dragged him out of the courtroom, assumingly back to Jail. [!]
[Zennix]: “GET HIM OUT OF HERE.”
[!] Several people began yelling variations of ‘get him’
[Tsu]: “ENOUGH YELLING”
[!] Camera pans to the side briefly, showing Lawyer Silvio Russo slowly sliding all his case notes into a trash bin. [!]
[!] Camera quickly moved back to the action, specifically to others involved in the Schwarz incident. One named Lucien L’Amour began to rattle his cuffs. [!]
[L’Amour]: “LEMME OUT I WANNA JOIN HIM TOO”
[Wolfe]: “Quiet.”
[!] More yelling from the stands [!]
[Wigglesworth]: “TOSS HIS BODY INTO THE OCEAN WHEN HE’S SLEEPING!”
[???]: “SNOOBS???”
[!] The camera zooms out, showing the full courtroom is disarray. Tsu from here huffed as she stands ontop of the Judge’s area, facing the crowd. [!]
[Tsu]: “The court will go into a brief intermission, We will return in five minutes”
[???]: “KILL HIM!!”
[!] That intermission would become permanent, EMS workers who were watching the trial came out and began to look over Vasylenko after being instructed to do so by Mayor Sturm. The video ends soon after that. [!]
[Yasushi]: “...Quite an incident, was it not? Moving on, I got to speak live with one of the officers who were on scene regarding the future of Silensius, and the possibility of a retrial for the other six members of the trial involved. That will also be shown .. now”
[!] The screen switch to Yasushi holding a microphone standing beside Officer Santen somewhere inside KPD, there the two began going back and fourth [!]
[Yasushi]: “Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, I am here at the KPD station speaking with KPD corporal officer Santen”
[!] Yasushi turned his attention away from the camera to the officer [!]
[Yasushi]: “The future of Silensius, what is it? What’s going to happen to him from this point on now after the .. incident.”
[Santen]: "Silensius will incur additional charges to his sentence after today's stunt in the courtroom. It's sad to see these 'criminals' not help themselves when they expect others to help them. After creating chaos in the courtroom, he was shortly escorted out and put into the back of a cruiser, then found himself locked in a locked cell."
[Yasushi]: "And what about the others who were in the trial, the other six? Will they be given a new trial?"
[Santen]: “I'm unaware of the future of the other participants, from what I know currently, they were ordered by our highly decorated jury to pay restitution for the crimes against the Commissioner."
[!] Just like with any news live broadcast, it ends abruptly, nearly cutting Santen off [!]
[Mizoroge]: “I suppose that does it for us, folks. Will Schwarz get the yen he was seeking for? Or will there be a change of events – a future trial, perhaps? I guess only time will time.”
[!] Teruyoshi removed the cigarette from his mouth, placing the burnt end against an ashtray that sat beside him. His expression shifted into an angrier one as the broadcast came to an end. [!]
