Karakura Street Names
The Knowledge Behind Their Names

Those who have been around1740503787284.png our city for quite awhile have noticed the familiar and unfamiliar names of the streets that run everywhere in the city. Today I will be going over those familiar street names, what is nearby them, and possibly a tiny bit of their history.

Karakura Avenue - Karakura Avenue runs from the front of complex I all the way down to the outdoor courtyard for the Karakura Police Department. It goes past Plaza, Family Store, both Shicho Park and Nakinawa park, and multiple resident houses. This street is essentially Karakuras ‘main street’, being one of the longest or the longest street in our entire city.

Itsbyoshi Lane
- A few of you may have noticed the Itsbyoshi name in quite a number of places, especially in a high school class taught by your lovely Ms. Sora Mori. Itsbyoshi Lane is named after the Itsbyoshi clans, the original 13 families to Karakura. This street runs along both the Saiky
and Akihito estates. While Akihito is only a Ōgonshoku, Saiky is one of the Itsbyoshi families, as their name is heavily connected to our Shinsei Seinaru Monastery.

Eden Roundabout - The Eden Roundabout is located in the middle of Shopping District, surrounding a garden area that has the renowned ‘Eden Tree’ located in the middle. This roundabout is just what it seems, it allows cars to go around the Eden tree to access all sides of the shopping district to its full potential. This road stretches from the actual around about and out to the side of Shopping District.

Luxe Street - This street isn’t as widely known as the others, but it still sits close to our hearts. The once famous Club Luxe once stood here, right in the same place as our lovely Karakura News. While this location has now moved, its history still remains.

Business Avenue - Not to be confused with Business Alleyway, Business Avenue runs in front of the hospital, going from complex N down to complex U and right past the Zikani train station right behind Plaza.

Business Alleyway
- This Alleyway runs behind the entirety of Business District, going from complex J, past many different shops and ending between complex Q and R, right by the Electronic shop Oto-Nashi. Both Business Ave and Alleyway are named after our lovely Business District.

Shinboshi Avenue - Yet another road for Shopping District, this one sits at the main entrance for the area, showing off glorious statues and banners as you enter. This street is named after the train station that just sits at the opposite end of the area nestled between two shops, Yona-Yona and Ryūketsu.

There are plenty of other streets I haven’t listed in this report, such as Diaoyu, Komichi, Masayoshi, Tagahashi, Kōen, Shichō, Denki, Dengen, Kinsen, and Mizukawa. With so many streets in our area, what other history lies behind their names, their meanings, and their presence.
