Kaoru:
“Could I get a self introduction as well as what you do and who you are?”
Himari:
"Well I'm Himari Hattori, I am the current Vice president of the student council. So you want to know about the baseball house incident?"
Kaoru:
"Yes. I want to know what happened, how it happened, what happened after"
Himari:
"Well- it started back on the 3rd of this month when we finally got our first look inside the baseball house” A pause "The team was hostile, harassing us the whole time and making it hard to even explore the house. But we knew we needed to do our job.." He turned the screen back and read through the report. "The following week we returned with AJ, they basically ignored us..."
Kaoru:
"Right, I was shown the terrarium earlier. So how did the situation escalate yesterday?"
Himari:
"The schools own the team houses, so SLT has the power to deal with the houses as they wish and well, when baseball started to avoid inspections to avoid council and such- AJ.. our chancellor and council lead- decided that we needed to bring in some extra help... AJ contacted KPD and EMS, and we contacted the deputy mayor. When we showed up that day we were met with an army, both baseball teams shouting and poking threats at us…Needless to say KPD used their riot shields and pushed them back, getting us inside for the inspection.. the house on the first and top floors didnt have any issues, it seemed normal... But well then you got into the basement, all the baseballers were down there.. they were like feral animals, apparently the mold spores had infected them.. made them aggressive and hostile to us, KPD, EMS, and each other.It was a nightmare, one girl broke her leg, KPD was shoving them to walls and peperspraying them, one was even tazed- it was.... alot- They also had rat tunnels that we had to crawl through to find the captain's room... I didnt stick around for that... but from what I saw it was a swampy mess-We had to take the students out and get them to the medical tent outside for treatment, they were all being affected by the mold."
Kaoru:
"I see. Are there any measures that you know will be implemented to ensure this mold infestation doesn't happen again?"
Himari:
"We spoke to Tom, the captain, and set up a plan for us, the council, to come in and clean the mold as well as install filters, and such to prevent mold from forming... we understand that the teams takes great pride in their... chaotic nature so we want to maintain what they want without risking exposure to more mold...I know they'll likely hear this report, so I want to put on record that everything we did was legal, backed by SLT, the government, law enforcement, and of course lots and lots of paperwork...We're very dedicated to keeping the teams safe!""

Kaoru:
“Could I get you two to introduce who you are and what you do?”
Felix:
“Introductions? Alright, my name is Felix Stark, Psychiatry Clinical Lead - and well.One of the hospital workers at the tent during the incident.”
Dahlia:
“And I'm Dahlia Gairil - a paramedic, here. I was also there. I was in the house."
Kaoru:
"I'll start with Dahlia since she was in the house. How was the experience inside?"
Dahlia:
"Well- Uh. . To be honest it was absolute chaos.I watched my colleagues get tackled left n' right- I had to pull somebody off of one of my higher ups, and. . We all had our pepper spray out, to be safe. We were just getting attacked and so were KPD, from what I know. Just- I don't even know how to recount it clearly because it was just non-stop the whole way through, you know?"
Kaoru:
“Oh wow. It sounded like a mess.Were you attacked? Did they eventually calm down?"
The sound of a can of Maeng Soda™ being opened.
Dahlia:
"I almost was. Someone got in my face, but they ended up backing off so I got pretty lucky, all things considered.They did, yeah. They all get escorted outside and treated in the tent."
Kaoru:
"So, you were attacked?"
Felix:
“Well- it was chaotic, that's for sure! I was. . .Tackled by one of the people that had left the house - nothing serious, really. Unfortunately, exposure to certain fungi can explain such changes in behaviour, along with the rest of their symptoms. We are still waiting on results about the infestation but, really, it's just an unfortunate situation to be involved in.”
Kaoru:
"Okay. Final question. Do you think that this infestation is spreadable? Or is it contained right now and people don't have to worry about it."
Dahlia:
"As far as I know, it's contained. Mold itself can spread, but the house is being cleaned up I think and. . Well, yeah. I believe that's about as far as that-. . Goes. Dr. Stark, do you have anything to add?"
Felix:
“Honestly, just like any mold, it can be cleaned up with agents, like bleach. Keeping your homes clean is enough if caught early.”
