With the recent arrest of Niibu Tsu, a Shrine Priest, it was
obvious that one side of the story would be angered at the
other. A statement from the Kannushi stating that the KPD
were to not be invited to the ‘Event’ hosted at the shrine.
This is simply the beginning of the events.

The KPD misheard the rule, thinking it was a full on blacklist
they informed the Mayor, Avi Shen about their ‘blacklisting’
from the Shrine. On hearing this information the Mayor
walked to the Shrine with a group of people, including two to
three officers, and a few other upset civilians. Without a second
thought the group barged into the Dojo, where they were asked
to leave by the Kannushi. The Mayor and the Kannushi had a
conversation together in front of the group, the Mayor was polite
enough to whisper to him in order to not start any more fights..
With a rude exit an argument started between the Commissioner
and the Kannushi, both sides seemed to be in the wrong but in
the end, the KPD left, as well as the Government present.

After the interaction between the Government, KPD and Shrine staff ended, a single Reporter 1712691485376.png
stayed behind asking the Kannushi for an interview for both sides of the story. He apologized
for their co-workers actions and explained why they do. After a conversation between the
Reporter and the Kannushi, the Kannushi agreed to an interview with the man.

The interview started with the Kannushi expressing their emotions towards the disruption
of the volunteer program, a program that was supposed to reach out to the townsfolk of
Karakura and connect them with the Shrine. Instead it was interrupted by the crowd of
people, bringing the event as a whole to a stop.

The Kannushi claimed to be upset at this and even expressed that he was upset that they did
not show respect to the Shrine or their staff, stating that the ‘Blacklist’ had been lifted before
the Mayor had even arrived. He claimed he only holds his hunches against the two officers
who attended to be a problem. With the words of the Kannushi, “It’s a shame the police
department, town hall and news reporters held no respect to the shrine, and the activities
I was trying to conduct. A shame.”

With talking to both parties of the situation, it is clear that both sides were in some sort of wrong, with the KPD and Town Hall barging into the shrine's planned event. The Government and KPD were upset due to them getting a slight backlash from doing their job. After searching into the issue, a man was arrested,
charged with a non-felony charge. The KPD has received backlash
from people who were not in favor of the arrest.

As a Reporter my job is to be unbiased and give what truly happened. So as a nice little TL;DR, A Priest was arrested, the Shrine Staff didn’t like it, so they revoked the KPDs invite to an Event they were hosting. The KPD misheard it for a full on blacklist, told the Mayor, Mayor stormed in upset the Kannushi, Reporter apologized on behalf, spoke with the Kannushi in private, no grudges, HOORAY!
