1:30 AM, Wednesday, 2023, a small whistle was heard in the streets of Karakura. This whistle led the citizens of the city to find the old foreclosed estate was destroyed and replaced with a new garden, the Jinsei Zen Garden.

Originally heard near the old power plant, the city was welcomingly surprised by the sights of a new seemingly safe haven, one where those of both religious and traditional beliefs can reside alongside those looking for some peace and tranquility. Though not much is known quite yet regarding the
new city wonder, this is what we have so far..

The entrance is located at nearly 1325, 19, 514 GPS wise, when entering you're greeted with a large torii gate and Sakura tree - similar to the beloved Shinsei Seinaru Monastery. From there you can go three ways, straight, left, or right. If you decide to go straight, you'll be greeted with the main building. Here you'll find the main hall / prayer room, then the reading and tea room.. Though in reality, ones more of a manga corner and the other being a tea house. If you’d went left, you can find another building. There isn't any specific specialty about it, besides its courtyard and access to nice quiet areas secluded away from the main path. As for if you went right .. well you'll be taken down a stone path which will go passed a small pavolian and too one of two things: One being a state of Chiharu Yamatsumi .. and the others being statues of a dragon, koi and kitsune.

To have your own statue, especially
at a zen garden, its easy to assume you have some important .. So who is Chiharu Yamatsumi? While the Shinsei Seinaru Monastery once was the home of many gods, often known as kami, over time as the city's corruption spread.. When the shrine burned to the ground all but one departed. Karakura simply wasn't suitable for them, and they had lost all faith in their patrons. All but one, that is. Chiharu Yamatsumi continues to protect the monastery and city below.. Hence why the statue at the Jinsei Zen Garden was constructed in their honor.
Notably about the statue, besides its grand size and structure is something you'll never see on a sunny day, rather, on a dark and stormy one. When it is raining to any degree, the statue will nearly appear to cry, a water trail forming from the eyes and slowly pouring down to below.

What does the place look like? Heres some quick photos from the main locations listed above of each:
