It’s that time of the year again… the wind blows a little bit colder in Karakura, the leaves turn brown, and you constantly get the feeling that something not-quite-alive is lurking just behind… it seems that the only light is the flickering of candles inside pumpkins, left on the windowsills and doorsteps to guide you home through the dark.
So… why not celebrate that?
KARAKURA’S CARVE-UP COMPETITION

That’s right! You can submit your own jack-o-lantern design and get the chance to display it for Halloween. The winner will have their design turned into a custom furniture model, so they can celebrate in their own style!
This competition will be ran ICly as well as OOCly, so please feel free treat your design as if your character has created it. An IC report will be released at the end of the month, displaying a handful of designs that may not have won, but are equally as amazing and deserving of being seen.
The winning design may be reshaded colour-wise in order to look seamless with the model, but the pixels will be the same.
The deadline will be the 21st of October.

A few rules…
- All designs must be pixel art within the dimensions 22x24. If not, there is a high risk of the design not translating into the custom model and your win may be forfeited for a more suitable design.
- Any designs that feature obscene or offensive content will be automatically disqualified and potentially taken to staff.
- Any copied designs will be disqualified.
- There is only one submission per player - you cannot submit a design for each of your characters. If you send multiple designs, only your first one will be considered.
- You don’t have to be an artist! The dimensions lend themselves to simpler designs, so anyone can get involved.
- Remember that this is for fun. Please don’t be disheartened if your design doesn’t win.
