Kenji is tall and skinny. He has a sleeper build and is very pale. He appears as if he spends most of his time indoors. He has a red tattoo of a ";" on his right wrist.

Kenji takes nothing seriously, even when he REALLY should. He can go from ignoring you to being your best friend in an instant even if you have done something wrong due to his memory loss. He acts sorta robotic most of the time.

Kenji has 4 siblings. His sister Jordyn who died when she was 15, and his brothers Akumu age 20, Hougyo age 25, and Kisei 24. His mother died and his father still lives.
Backstory:
Kenji grew up in a very strict household. His parents fought a lot and his dad drank a lot. He got in the middle of every fight he could just because he wanted his family to be normal. Since Kenji got in the middle of everything his father grew a strong hatred for him, and started treating him as such. Kenji was abused. Kenjis brothers also hated him because they were manipulated by their father into believing lies about him. His father tried to manipulate his sister too but he failed. Jordyn knew the truth and stayed on Kenji's side. Kenji's father then started harming Jordyn as well. Once his mother died the whole family shifted. Kenjis father got angrier and angrier until he finally snapped. He broke Kenjis arm and went off on Kenjis sister, Jordyn. After a few years of this horrid treatment, Jordyn couldn't handle it anymore and she asked Kenji to run away with her, and so they did. Kenjis father called the cops to find them and shockingly, they did. Kenji and Jordyn were returned to their home and were harshly punished. Jordyn felt hopeless and decided to take her own life. Jordyn dying pushed Kenji over the edge. He got a job and saved up enough money to buy a plane ticket and some cash for traveling. Kenji moved to Japan and settled in Karakura. He made lots of friends and was thriving! After a year or two he got a call from his father after his father somehow gained his number. He was forced to go back to the U.S. Back to his family's home. His father sold him to a man who did unspeakable things to him. He escaped and fled back to Karakura, where he then got beat up and shamed. His friends had drifted apart from him and he felt so alone. He disappeared and people thought he took his own life. After what felt like a couple years he returned to Karakura and made contact with a male named Luca Romano, who happened to be his best friend before he left. Luca freaked out because he had previously believed that Kenji was dead, yet was calling him. Kenji refused to show any emotion other than happiness and that freaked Luca out. Luca then offered to help him with his.. emotional problems. Kenji didn't like that idea but accepted anyways because he really didn't want to lose his best friend. Kenji to this day still has not fixed his emotional problems, and he probably never will.
