This was rushed a bit, but I'd just like to provide some information about Kono Joia.
A dream of Kono Joia, ridden guilt.
It was a subtle night, an argument would’ve broken out between Mitsu Joia and Kono Joia in public, during mid-day regarding a topic they’ve been talking about for a while. As Kono reached her apartment, covered in rain and angered tears. She’d collapse onto the floor, her eye’s sealing shut as she fell into a deep sleep.
Time passed by, she felt a cold rusting wind hit her face, along with the cold wet feeling of grass on her face. She’d take two sniffs of her surroundings, only to be met with the smell of wet grass. Lifting her eyelids open in a panic, finding herself to be in the middle of an abandoned place. Tree’s surrounding her, four candles that were recently lit rested around the female.
“Where.. W-whe-.. ..Where.. A-am.. I-I?”
She looked around the wet grassy forest-filled area, finding nothing but a hench of an oak wood bridge that would have seemed to have fallen apart. Her body trembled in fear and shock, where was she?
“Mitsu! M-Mother! Are-.. A-Are you.. T-there.?”
She whispered, not a single person in sight. Her body trembled, she would fall to the floor, her hands plunging into the cold wet dirt as her hands trembled even more. The cold feeling of wet dirt wasn’t exactly making this better. A rustling wind began to move into this forest, pushing forward towards Kono gently as the wind rustled against the tree's leaves that flushed throughout the forest. In the distance, a ringing of tree chimes could be heard. Kono’s heartbeat increased by the second, taking in a deeper breath at a time, a tear falling down her right cheek as she was unable to turn around to the tree chimes, in utter fear.
“You are not worthy.”
A tree whispered quietly in the wind, Kono’s eyes gazed at a tree in the distance as she took a breath in. “Does this tree.. Have a voice?” She thought to herself.
“You are not worthy.”
It repeated, over and over as Kono was there on the floor, another tear fell down her cheek as her hands were cold with dirt and mud over her fingers.
“You are not worthy, you are not worthy, you are not worthy.”
It repeated, Kono took a breath in. The voice continued to repeat itself. As time went on, more trees continued to whisper around Kono. She’d look up into the sky, holding her hands together.
“W..-Why..?”
She asked, just why was she here. She had done nothing, unknowing to her at all. What she has done, why is she not worthy? What is she worthy for, why does it continue to say that she asked in her mind, the voice’s driving her to insanity by the second. As the voice’s got louder and louder, they all tuned down as a voice that cannot be described began to speak.
“You are not a Joia. Running off and working for someone who does not follow us Joia's. Disobeying your sister who is described to be the “Female Legacy” and yet you still wish to disobey Ikiya’s rules? Kamei’s words? You are not a Joia, you are Kono . A shell of a Joia, unworthy of our ways. And after everything Tao Joia did for you, and yet you continue to act this way? You are no better than an empty shell of a Joia.”
The tree’s whispered, each whispered as they barged. Their voices got louder and louder, each tree whispered, the ground began to cover her hand as she gently pulled into the dirt and mud. Tear’s flew down her cheeks, pulling her arms back but no use at all, she was powerless in this situation, being pulled into the ground without a chance to escape. Then, she’d snap back to where she fell on the ground. Her clothes were still wet from the rain, a puddle of tears just beneath her eyes with her hands resting on her arms side by side as she was trembling like she was in her dream.
