Describe your activity on the server:
I’ve been insanely active since I’ve been introduced to this server back in January of this year, usually when I am off from work I am on for 8+ hours a day, everyday. Friday-Sunday I’m on almost all day, but Monday-Thursday, I don’t get on until after 5 pm because that’s when I usually get off of work. Sometimes I work a bit earlier on some days so I'll also be on after 12.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
This is my first SERIOUS roleplay experience and I have been enjoying myself. When I first got suggested to try this server, I honestly never expected to have this much fun coming up with cool character ideas or roleplay scenarios but I am grateful for the opportunities that have opened up for me in this server and the joy and comfort it brings me. I enjoy storytelling with other people a lot, especially with my friends.
What is your motivation for applying?
My motivation for applying mainly stems from my childhood dreams of becoming a first responder. As a kid I was obsessed with first responder shows such as One Chicago (Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Chicago Med), Station 19, 9-1-1, etc - as well as my interest in psychology and emergency medicine as well. If accepted, I’d want Ajani to get a taste of literally everything (doctor and paramedic as well.)
Which role are you applying for?
Psychiatrist.
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes. If there are any conflicts with training and my schedule (if accepted), I will always communicate that with the faction lead.

SECTION 1: PERSONAL DETAILS
Character’s Full Name:
The man walked into the interview session with a folder in hand. His demeanor seemed calm and collected, his expression confident but not noticeable from the naked eye as he walked over to the desk, sitting down politely.
“Good afternoon. My name is Ajani Campbell-Mori. I heard there was an opening for a psychiatrist position and I appreciate you taking the time to interview me today.”
He let out a smile, setting his stuff down on the table politely before reaching his hand out and offering the interviewer a handshake.
Character’s Gender and Pronouns:
He sat at the desk, lifting the side of his foot and planting it on top of his thigh, placing his arms on top of them, maintaining eye contact with the interviewer.
“I am a male and prefer going by he/him or gender-neutral pronouns like they/them are fine too, honestly whatever you’re comfy with I’m content with as well.”
He cleared his throat, then opened the folder containing his resume, ID, passport, birth certificate and other important documentation needed.
Character’s Age (if accepted):
He took the birth certificate out from the folder, sliding it to the interviewer, letting them take a peak at it before reiterating his age.
“I am 24 years old. I was born on December 17th, 2001. I’m a bit on the younger side but who cares. I can still provide value to the team.”
Character’s Academic Background:
He put his birth certificate back in the folder, before taking his resume and sliding it to the interviewer.
“As you can see from my resume, I have my masters in psychology with a concentration in emergency psychiatry. I also am currently going back to school for another degree in nursing with a concentration in emergency medicine.”
He took a second to stretch as he started to feel a bit stiff sitting down on the chair, nonetheless he would shift slightly into a more comfortable position in the seat.
Character’s Nationality:
He again took the resume back and placed it in the folder before taking out his passport and immigration papers.
“I am of Jamaican descent. I was born in Jamaica and lived there for a few years before migrating to the US. I was raised in Virginia for the rest of my adolescent years and then I decided I needed a change of pace and scenery so I moved to Karakura when I turned 19 and started studying here after hearing about the psychology program at Karakura Community College.”
He gave a confident smile, almost like he was proud of everything he accomplished so far. He invested a lot of time and energy into building and kickstarting his career.
Character’s Marital Status:
As he was putting away his resume, he smiled at the question being asked and thought about his beautiful wife.
“Yes, I am happily married! Her name is Kaida and she’s the sweetest, most beautiful soul on planet earth. We’ve been married for 4 years and we’ve known each other since we were kids!”
He pulled out his phone, showing the interviewer a picture of his wife.
Character’s Religious Denomination:
He sat there in silence for a second, thinking about if he should talk about it or not. He chose to talk about it VERY vaguely.
“I’m not a very religious person, however I do believe that there is a higher deity. I just don’t really see the point in being religious.”
Character’s Spoken Languages:
He scooched back from his seat resting his elbows on the table, still maintaining eye contact with the interviewer.
“I’m somewhat of a pioneer, and by pioneer I mean language pioneer. I know Patois, English, ASL, Japanese, and JSL.”
He smirked a bit at the corny joke he just made hoping that it at least made the interviewer smile.
Character Backstory (Optional):
“I don’t really like talking about my backstory so I’m just gonna leave it here. Thank you for giving me a chance to share my expertise and insight and I hope to hear back soon.”
He got up from the table, picking up his folder, holding under his arm, pushing the chair back under it before offering the interview another handshake before turning around and walking out the room.
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Ajani specializes in clinical and emergency psychiatry as well as the fact that he’s currently going back to school for his medical degree, specifically in emergency medicine. As a kid he’s always wanted to help people and make the world a better, healthier place. He has devoted most of his time and energy into studying up into his fields along with the fact that his mother was a nurse. Any chance he got he would always ask his mother questions and any opportunity he had to learn, he ALWAYS took it. He specifically chose emergency psychiatry mainly to fulfill his childhood dream of being the change and help that the world needs, and also it intrigued him to learn about how the human brain works sometimes. This is a very personal goal for Ajani and I’m sure he’s going to continue to put in the work and the effort into learning more as he goes.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Ajani doesn’t necessarily have much but he has been around in medical environments with his mother. When he was younger, on days she had to work and couldn’t find someone to watch him while she was at work, she took him to the hospital and again he was always curious and always asked questions about the environment and how it works. When he got into college and started to study more and learn more, he applied for internships at the hospital in hopes of getting hands-on experience in medical environments and got a chance but due to unforeseen circumstances he had to rush back home to Jamaica to deal with an emergency.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
He stands tall, six feet two, yet moves without weight, like he doesn’t want to take up too much space. Comfort follows him into rooms, not because he demands attention but because he gives it freely. A joke slips out before silence has time to settle - timing so natural it feels accidental. People smile before they realize why. His coworkers expect the laughter; what surprises them is how fast it disappears when needed. Seriousness arrives quietly, like a light switched on behind his eyes. The shift catches some off guard - the warmth stays, but the playfulness folds inward, neat and precise. Even then, he never seems stern, just focused in a way that suggests depth beneath the surface. Most folks know they can count on Ajani when things get tough. He stays calm, thinks clearly, because others look up to him without needing to say so. People notice how he lifts moods yet keeps everything steady - fun shows up at the right time, seriousness follows just as naturally. What stands out first? That shock of pink hair, bold like fruit candy under sunlight. The contrast hits hard against his deep skin and sharp brown eyes - he doesn’t blend into crowds. Smell drifts in before he does: ripe strawberries mixed with tangy pineapple, soft but clear. Moments pass, conversation ends, still that image lingers - the color, the smell, the quiet strength - all stitched together.
How does your character act around the hospital?
Hospitals might feel quieter when Ajani walks in. Comfort seems to follow him, even around people tense with worry or pain. A question about someone’s day could start it. Sometimes he shares something silly just before tests begin. Laughter slips into hallways where tension once sat heavy. Coworkers notice the shift - mood lifting without effort. Moments stretch easier when he is nearby. Even on rough shifts, his humor lands softly. Still, if a patient needed help - or something went wrong - Ajani shifted fast. Jokes faded. His attention sharpened. Doing things right mattered most then. Others on the team probably noticed this quiet reliability. A person who lifts spirits yet stays steady when everything's on the line. That bright pink hair could catch your eye first, standing there among the usual scrubs. Yet it’s probably his warmth that sticks in memory longer. Kids may see someone easier to talk to, different from others on duty. Adults might notice feeling seen, not just noted down like paperwork. Colleagues? They’d know him as the one breaking tension with a joke when things slow - then focused fast if alarms rise. A steady presence, open face, always ready - he’d fit right into any shift without trying too hard.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Working solo suits Ajani just fine, yet he also blends smoothly into group efforts. Confidence marks his approach - tasks get done without constant oversight, especially when he steps up first. When challenges grow too tangled, reaching out comes naturally; knowing limits feels normal, not like failure. Help-seeking? He treats it as a smart strategy, not surrender. Shifts between teamwork and independence happen effortlessly, thanks to a flexible mindset. Dependable doesn’t quite capture it - he brings balance to others' notice without trying.

If accepted, I’d want Ajani to get a taste of literally everything (doctor and paramedic as well.)
Which role are you applying for?
Psychiatrist.
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
| DEPARTMENTS | DEFINITIONS |
| Emergency | The emergency department is in charge of taking care of medical emergencies that are usually outside the hospital or assisting KPD with anything medical related. This is NOT an appliable position like doctors or psychiatrists due to the fact that paramedics usually don’t have a specific concentration and they can take up both responsibilities that doctors and psychiatrists can when needed. This is a role you earn through promotions. |
| Doctor | The doctor department is in charge of fielding medical emergencies in house, they handle tasks like surgeries, handling prosthetics, and even providing prescriptions for medication tailored to help the patients medical well-being. |
| Psychiatrist | The psychiatrist department is mainly in charge of mental health emergencies, unlike doctors, psychiatrists are only expected to treat minor injuries, but the main caveat with this department is that they specialize in mental health related cases. They usually offer therapy sessions for patients, prescriptions for mental health related illnesses/conditions, and in some extreme cases they may administer a psych-hold. |
| POSITIONS | DEFINITIONS |
| Trainee | This is the starting position in any department. Trainees are expected to go through training and pass to continue on with their career. |
| Resident | A resident is a doctor/psychiatrist/paramedic who has completed their training. Their roles and tasks depend on what department they're in. |
| Attending | An attending resident is a resident with more responsibilities and permissions than a regular resident. They are allowed to host training or even relieve fellow co-workers. |
| Clinical Lead | Clinical leads oversee their respective departments, they usually are the event planners. |
| Director | The head of the hospital. They are responsible for making sure that hospital operations run smoothly. |
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes. If there are any conflicts with training and my schedule (if accepted), I will always communicate that with the faction lead.
