What is your motivation for applying?:
I actually have a few motivations for applying. I've been participating in GangRP for almost a year now, and I realized that I need to try something new. After a few weeks I’ve decided to begin learning more about the police OOCLY and ICLY and I think it’s a good opportunity to try it out. I even began talking to one of my family members, who is a police officer IRL and I’ve learned a lot from it.

Do you understand Japanese Laws and Basic Conduct?
I understand Japanese Laws and Basic Conduct a decent amount, I’ve been researching the laws for Japan as I thought about moving there sometime.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?

Being a police officer isn’t easy, you have multiple duties that you have to fulfill, such as monitoring CCTV, arresting people, answering emergency calls, accepting bails, assisting others at emergency scenes, protecting property, and even patrolling around the city. This isn’t a job to be lazy on, so you MUST be serious and dedicated to being a police officer as it is your duty to keep the city and citizens safe. This also applies for IRL police. It’s their duty to stop crime and protect civilians from harm and injuries. Being a police officer involves risk and sacrifice. In return, officers are honored by the community. Police officers have to be smart and careful about doing assignments, as that's safer than just rushing everything and failing.

Why is the Police important to SchoolRP?
They’re important to SRP because Karakura’s filled to the brim with gangs and crime, the KPD is there to prevent them from acting freely without a risk of being caught and jailed. This brings realism as this is also how it is IRL. You cannot just commit a crime and expect to get away without being manhunted by the KPD.

Do you acknowledge that you're subject to being demoted if accepted at any given time?
Yes I do, and I will not complain if I get demoted.

Do you acknowledge that applying for this role, you are agreeing to be 100% dedicated to the Police Officer role?
Yes I do acknowledge that I have to be 100% dedicated to the role, and I promise that I will be dedicated.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are authorized to attend or you will be punished?
Yes I do, and I’ll try my best to always make it to training, even during my school hours.

Do you acknowledge that you’re subject to IC harassment, and you are NOT to take things OOCLY when dealing with training & situations?
Yes I do, and I promise that I won't take it OOCLY, I’ll try my absolute best to stay mature and calm during IC situations as there is no reason to get mad over a video game scenario.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?

“Keith”, or Shoji Aelbehrt Koijin was a twenty seven year old male of German-Japanese descent who stood at 5’7 with dyed light blue hair, followed by his blue eyes. He’d have a mesomorphic body build and multiple scars trailing up his left arm all the way to his left shoulder. He always stood with a good posture and he had a smile resting on his face. He’d also smell like blueberries

What they're like on and off the job?
When Shoji is on duty, he likes to stay calm and serious when doing something important, such as training. He’d usually stay silent and listen to his co-workers. He’d usually just stand at the back of groups, as he’s not used to being in front of anything. Shoji will dedicate his life to this job and he’d do anything just to protect someone, he’d even put his life on the line for someone else to live on.

When he’s off duty, Shoji usually hangs around his family, as he can’t see them a lot because of police work. When he’s not hanging out with his family members, he relaxes in his apartment, either watching television or maybe just sleeping as he hasn’t had the best sleep in ages. He’d sometimes walk to the plaza every once and awhile and admire the view.

Outlook on their co-workers? Plans for the future?
Shoji treats his co-workers with respect and kindness even the ones that he isn’t on good terms with. He’s a bit overprotective of his co-workers which is why he prefers to work alone. Although he doesn’t mind working with others, he'll always watch their backs and stay as close as possible to them. He actually cares for his fellow officers a ton.

In the future, He’d like to just continue his job as a police officer. He had trained for years to be a police officer and he can’t see himself retiring soon. He’s too far to turn back now, but if he ever retired he would just make sure his family has a good life.

BACKSTORY
(Make sure this biography/lore has 100+ words.)
PROLOGUE
On January fifteen, 1995, Shoji Aelbehrt Koijin was born into an upper-middle class family that lived in Hamburg, Germany. Shoji’s father was a detective and Shoji’s mother was a psychiatrist. This meant that Shoji’s parents couldn’t spend time with him. When Shoji was eight, he began watching the old detective movies that his dad had and Shoji got hooked onto them. This made him want to become a police officer. When Shoji began going to school, he always went to the library to read books about Law Enforcement. This made him determined to become a police officer. When he turned twelve, his parents decided to move to Japan, as their relatives were settled there.

HIGHSCHOOL
When Shoji turned six, his mother enrolled him into a high school that was in a small town that went by the name Karakura. This school wasn’t the greatest for Shoji, he didn’t understand Japanese that well, he couldn’t read, and he always got made fun of when he didn’t know. One day, he met a Japanese boy named Jiro, who used a translator to communicate as the two didn’t speak the same language. The boy offered to teach him Japanese and JSL, and of course Shoji took the offer. For months Jiro was teaching him both JSL and Japanese. After two years, When he was eighteen, he was speaking both Japanese and JSL pretty decently. A few weeks later, he was going to the school library and picking out detective books and novels about crime almost everyday.

COLLEGE
After Shoji was nineteen and graduated from high school, he decided to seek further education, causing him to enroll into college. College was somewhat great for him, he was getting good grades, making friends, and even getting popular. But he didn't care about any of that, he was studying Criminal Justice & Criminology, and Biology & Psychology. This overall got stressful for him, but he stayed determined. He stayed up what seemed to be endless nights just trying to perfect his knowledge about these topics. After three years, he was ready to graduate. When he was twenty two, he graduated from college and was ready to start his journey to becoming a police officer.

ADULT YEARS
Shortly after he graduated, he began training himself for the job. He started from doing simple sit-ups to running laps around the neighborhood. He kept repeating the same process day and night for FIVE WHOLE YEARS. Before researching more about police officers. Day and night he kept reading articles off the web, reading books from the public library, and even asking his dad about it via cellphone. Once he was twenty seven, he knew that he was ready to take on the job as an officer, all his determination built up and he filled out his application before sending it to the KPD.

Thank you for applying for KPD. Unfortunately, the higher-up team and I
have decided to deny this application. Most times it is simply due to the fact that
there are more suitable applicants, so feel free to give it another shot on the next cadet wave!
