Description: POI-014, also known as The Labyrinth, is a huge underground structure consisting of many small tunnels and passages, some of these following the structure of a "maze". It seems like this constructions spreads on the southernmost part of the old sewers, with it connecting plentiful of places, making it one of the biggest POI's ever documented.

The labyirnth is mainly built on stone bricks, with some being cracked or covered in moss. These materials give shape to the tunnels which the maze is comrpised of. These halls usually measure 1 meter in width and 2 in height. These tunnels constantly twist and lead to dead ends, which makes the structure hard to explore.

There is little to no natural light, only sources will be small torches spread out within in the labyrinth. As for the the circumdant areas one may find small bonfires spread in the caves.

Zones and structure.

The labyrinth has few distinct areas when compared to its size. The building is very monotone and consistent. As mentioned before the tunnels measure 2 meters in height and 1 in width, if there is any varation in these measures, you find more vines, or you spot an increased amount of cracked/mossy stone bricks, you may be approaching one of the following zones.

The entrance

This is regarded as the official entrance to the labyrinth, with it connecting directly to POI-013 ( The mossy caves ). Its only significance comes from the fact there is a sign, located at the entry point that gives this maze its name. We will not be covering the outside as it is considered part of the already mentioned POI.

The prision room

The prision room, is distinct due to it's cell-like structure with the following dimensions expressed in meters [6L x 5W x 2H]. This old cubicle is divided in two areas by a metal fence with a small iron door found to it's side. The area seems to be old, due to many of the stone bricks, which the zone is comprised of, being damaged and mossy. The inside of the zone is covered with patches of vines and moss, to add more, there seems to be dried blood spilled on the floor, though only outside the cell. Regarding light sources, the room lacks any light source, however, some glow enters through an opening within the inside of the cell.

To enter the cell, one shall push the button found next to the aforementioned iron door. Once the button is pressed, it will activate a mechanism opening the gate, however no such mechanism can be found inside, therefore, one cannot return to the labyrinth after entering, should no companion be awaiting outside the cell. Within the cell, one can look up and spot an opening, from which light comes. This is regarded as exit , more on this in the exit entrances section.

As tip for finding the prision room is to watch out for trails of dried blood in the halls of the labyrinth. Once you have spotted the blood stains, look out for torches, as the halls leading to the prision room have some of them. Following this advice will allow you to know this zone is near.

The fiery room

The zone consists of a hall which is two meters wide, leading to an staircase. Once one has walked up the stairs they will be met with a double door, once they open the door, a huge heat wave will strike the opener and the way will be free for the explorer to walk to. At the end of the hall, they will find a 2 meter wide hole with it's bottom covered in an extremly hot substance which we believe to be lava.

The whole area is covered in moss and vines, with the ones closest to the lava pit being completly dry and dead. Within this area, light sources are plentiful compared to the normal sections of the maze. This area possesses a few torches and fireplaces, which illuminate the area.

This time we will not provide indications nor instructions to how to reach this place, we know karakurians well enough to see them playing very annoying pranks on friends.

A lonely metal door

This metal door can be found at the easternmost section of the maze. There seems to exist a small lever behind the iron door, however no mechanism activator is found on our side. To this day, no one knows how to open this door.

You will know you are approaching this door if the amount of mossy/cracked stone bricks increases. There is also an exit around this area which leads to the plain sewers.

Entrances and exits

There are many entrances and exits. Here you will be provided with information on how to navigate to some exits or entrances.
  • Entrance/exit [001] : This entrance is distinct for being the official entrance to the labyrinth, as it has a text inscripted in the outside that reads as The labyrinth. Leaving the labyrinth from here will lead you to POI-013.
  • Entrance/exit [002] : Behind a stream of sewage waters, once you swim up against the current one will find themselves in the East sewage fall of the room displayed below.

  • Entrance/exit [003] : Swimming up an stream of water, it may lead to the West sewage fall on the room displayed down below.
  • Entrance/exit [004] : Very near the E/E [002], one can find plentiful of vines, climbing up them leads to a small tunnel that connects to the gray channel.
  • Entrance/exit [005] : After finding a diverging path with a torch covered by a fence, going to the west and swimming up against the water stream will lead you to the black channel.
  • Entrance/exit [006] : In the prision room zone, entering the cell and climbing up the vines will lead you to POI-013.
  • Entrance/exit [007] : After a long hall, reaching a small zone with two torches behind fences and with vines on the front, one can climb up the vines, which will lead them to a wide area close to the spray grounds.
  • Entrance/exit [008] : Going up a current of water near the "lonely door" zone will lead you to the plain sewers.
Because of the labyrinth halls all being directed into the cardinal points, anyone who has a compass can follow the instructions down below to go from entrances to exits.

It is unlikely to find many entities down here.

Non-human entities

The vermin have overtaken this place. The most common are rats, spiders and others. None of them are harmful in any sense.

Human entities

Encountering humans is very unlikely, however if you do they may be one of the following.
  • KUERT members: You can ask us for help exitting the labyrinth.
  • Explorers: they are not harmful, you may ask them for food or help if you want so.
  • Criminals Self explanatory. Simply evade them.

Environmental threats

This area is quite problematic when it comes to exploration. It is reccomended to spend as little time as possible in this POI.
  • Blackout: There is no light at all in the whole POI, traversing through here requieres lightsources. Carry some flashlights when entering here.
  • No signal: There is no signal in most of the POI. You will have trouble calling for help should something happen.
  • Complex structure: Because of the complex layout it is hard to locate oneself and explore through.
  • Residual gasses: The labyrinth is one of the least ventilated places in the sewers, adding that to it being the most profund place, it results in having a high concentration in dangerous gasses like CO2 or CO.
History

The story of POI-014 is mostly unknown. There are no resources explaining how the place was created or why. The maze might be related to the abyss zone found in POI-013 and therefore have similar construction dates.
