She was bullied about this back in Canada, being called names like Lizard but upon moving to Karakura Lanie's noticed the majority of people haven't really seemed to care. Soon, effortlessly touching her nose with her tongue became her favourite party trick. She decorated her tongue with a neon green piercing that captured the attention of anyone she spoke to.
[ FEARS ]
- Lanie is terrified of children, babies and pregnancy in general. Her biggest fear is being pregnant, the close second would be going into labour.
- Birds. Yes, birds.
[ ISSUES ]
- Her iconic massive god complex (which Lanie likes to argue is healthy, self-love and isn't an issue at all.) Lanie believes wholeheartedly, she is the most amazing person in town and is sure everyone else sees that too. Is she a little delusional? Sometimes, but regardless Lanie's god complex is one of the first things everyone notices about Lanie. Having such a strong god complex results in Lanie struggling with derealisation. She often struggles with knowing what is truly real and often feels invincible, causing her to act in ways that remind her she's alive, real and very much not invincible.

- Being an adrenaline junkie, Lanie rarely turns down a dare. She's constantly seeking excitement and sometimes even just chaos. She loves a good fight as she is a thrill-seeker, which often ends her up in life-changing situations. She will always stop what she is doing to watch a fight.
- She is often considered a hothead due to the fact she is eristic (meaning she likes to argue and debate for fun) which often leads to fights, debates and just an overall petty attitude. Lanie never takes it to heart as it's always just for the fun of doing so. It's one way she shows she has control over her life when she feels as if nothing is real.
- Lanie would struggle with commitment issues, making it hard to build a deep connection and open up with others which often results in making her feel trapped when she has made a commitment regardless if it was work, school or relationship related. - Possibly a Shopaholic? Constantly shopping, typically can be found checking the auction house multiple times a day, as well as watching every tailor auction in case she wants to add to her closet. She's always dropping everything the moment a shop opens, even if it's not a shop she particularly cares for. She has a notebook tracking the prices of things from shops, auctions and on the street.

- PYROMANIAC: She'd be a Pyromaniac, typically always carrying a lighter on her. She tends to play with her lighter constantly when bored or sitting too long, resulting in constantly burning herself on accident. Fire reminds Lanie she is alive and powerful, unstoppable. She can take over the world, or burn it down trying.
- ADHD: She would be more hyper than most and unable to stay still or keep interested for a long period of time due to her ADHD. She is quick to react and tends to act impulsively and spontaneously. She jumps to conclusions fast as her mind is going miles a minute, and often mishears things that are said.
- PTSD: Lanie struggles with PTSD, causing her to also deal with trust issues and abandonment issues. She often blames the PTSD for her sleepless nights as anytime she does tend to fall asleep, she has night terrors. Her PTSD often shows through aggression and extreme swings of moods as well as sometimes jumping to wild conclusions. Lanie constantly feels paranoid as if someone was watching her, or even out to get her. This sometimes leads to her hallucinating voices, situations or people that she doesn't typically tell anyone about.
- INSOMNIA: She would have insomnia, which causes her to dissociate a lot and is the cause of her eyebags, yet she rarely ever actually feels tired. This sometimes leads to her feeling more irritated during the day, impulsive and even sometimes causes hallucinations.

Lanie's biggest mystery her entire life, she was never told who her father was, not even a single photo was found growing up, but Lanie believes she got most of her looks from her father. Her tanned skin and big lips are the major traits she's noticed that were different than her family's pale complexion and thin lips in Poland. Her mother refused to talk about him and her grandparents only ever called him "diabeł" in response to any questioning, meaning the devil in Polish.
