She would stand rather short with a good posture. Her long, blonde locks flowing down her back, resting on whatever outfit she’d be wearing that day - one that tried to show off her curves. Her face would be dotted with a couple of freckles, just below her deep blue eyes. She'd have rather pink, plump lips, contrasting her pale skin. She has a tattoo of a 'Laurel Nobilis' running up her right leg.
Personality:
Although often uncomfortable in large social scenarios or awkward situations, Laura is a very outgoing person and isn't afraid to meet new people or speak up in classes. She can usually be caught having a laugh with her close friends or flirty around the hot athletes she's friends with.
Character Voice:
With a noticeable French accent, her voice with soft yet firm. It would be more on the quiet side but can carry authority if needed. She would have a slight husk in her voice due to her smoking habits and past with marijuana.

Backstory
Laura May Ellis was born on the 12th of November 2001 in Montreuil - a city near Paris. She grew up with her parents and older sister, Tuesday Ellis, for three years until her younger sister Freya was born. It was clearly obvious for the next six years that Freya was the favourite Ellis daughter, all of the attention of their parents on her. This was until something unusual was noticed in Tuesday. Odd behaviours that a normal nine-year-old shouldn’t display, ones that even Laura was confused as to why she was acting like this. Due to these abnormalities, Janice Ellis - their mother - focused most of her attention on Tuesday, giving the rest to her youngest. Laura grew up with the only parental attention coming from that of her German dad, who spoke to her in the foreign language until she started to pick up on it, eventually becoming fluent.
One day, in 2015, Laura was informed of her sisters moving to Japan to start a new life. Laura technically being the only Ellis daughter left in the country, was told she was to stay in France and continue the family’s legacy in their home country. She put up with this for a couple of years, saving up money to move to Japan without her parents knowing. Then in 2019, with stable finances, she moved to Karakura.
Once in the foreign country, she decided to look for her two sisters. She spoke to the police, only to find out both of them were reported ‘DEAD’. This broke Laura, putting her in a terrible state of mind. She turned to substances such as cigarettes, and alcohol. A few months into her depressive episode, she decided to try marijuana for the first time. It didn’t end too well and made her severely ill. After this cannabis encounter, she decided it was time to stop and get better. This was when she met her best friends Lin Xiaolian and Ysella Ayumi.
After her nicotine addiction slowly getting better and cutting down on the amount she smokes per day, she was finally heading in a new direction - a positive one. She began attending her classes more often - this is how she met her (now EX) boyfriend, Min-Jun Kōraru. This is when she knew her life was finally getting on track. She found an interest in basketball and began meeting new friends such as Syd and Katana. Laura then tried out for the Spartan Female Basketball team and got in! Now, Laura is finally getting her life back and she couldn’t be happier… or could she?
