Describe your activity on the server:
I've been pretty active since joining the teacher faction—usually on for up to at most 4-6+ hours every other day. I often spend my time roleplaying or setting up classes, but I've been trying to keep myself up with being consistent in the server as of recently since becoming more involved at a more fundamental stand... Aside from that, Saturday nights and Sunday mornings are usually busy for me irl—my schedule isn't consistent as I work a more freelance job so if busy I usually try to let it be known.

What is your motivation for applying?:
Finding more things to involve myself with in the server—I have been on the search for being as involved and finding new things to do as much as possible for the past couple of months. I wanna engage myself with the community more—is what I mean? And I've also done nothing but play HS characters since playing for a year now. I wanna see the sides of this server that interests me and that I'd like to look into—I've thought of joining the faction a few times but whenever city faction would open I'd not be very free or I'd just straight up forget and miss it. So I'm shooting my shot now while the time is nigh! Hoping to get a chance to earn a spot as a Lawyer—I think it would be fun? Seeing as I'm more heavy on roleplay lately. And I wanna try and interact with as many other people as I can that's humanly possible at this point- not trying to stretch myself thin, of course. But definitely wanting to find different avenues that interests me!
Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:
I've brushed up on the written stuff and such since I was doing CrimeRP for a short amount of time (about 2-3 months) I'd say I have a pretty clear and basic understanding of Karakura's laws and such... BUT It's not to say that I don't have any blind spots in some places (if any). And I do find myself often reading from time to time on lore pages and such on the server—I think I can find myself around the constitution of Karakura pretty easily in due time.
What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:
I've mentioned it a lot on here, that I love roleplaying on this game. So honestly, my big goal above all is to continue to do so and expand on my character's lore! Since the character I'm applying with is also sorta tied to my other character on my main account. It'd serve as a great plot point and also having an adult figure in their life that's present (I don't have many character's with that in this server)
And that would also be a second big reasoning—Being involved in the community, making connections, and helping out as much as possible. I know that much of SRP involved crime and school and such. And many people get put in situations where they get put in jail with court dates that are unheard of for months—and I personally feel like I could lend a helping hand where it's really needed. Being that it can lift weight not just off of those behind the scenes who are working hard to do the things they do in these factions... But also doing it just because it serves as a big help for those on the other end as well! And not to mention? It'd just be really fun to be on the other end. I'm not involved in any CriminalRp as much as I used to before now. But I've seen enough on that end that makes me super interested on what could be waiting on the other side of the road!
In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:
Governor
Starting from Governors—Governors are the ones that quite literally work for the public to make sure things are safe for- well. The public! Handing out Id's, Inspecting shops and restaurants so they're up to safety regulations so no one's eating with health hazards. Officiating marriages, Surveying the public to ensure the safety of the citizens, and approving adoption paperwork for families. Governor's are meant to work for the people, and then give their intel to the city so that ALL of that data can be filed and documented. Archived. And dealt with when needed. Keeping the people safe, and at least making efforts to creating safe environments for the city.
Lawyer
Next—Lawyers are one of the biggest corner stones in a Government. Without them, there would be essentially chaos within a city. They're the voices for the public- for those who are just and unjust. Playing an integral part in someone's freedom or their loss of it. Or perhaps both? In any case, there are two sides of a Lawyer. On one end, they're meant to basically collect and present a persons case to a court and prove to an extent their innocence or what's left of it. And the other, to collect and present evidence against a party that has done wrong. Many lawyers work in specific areas of this- some ONLY are defense and some ONLY prosecutors. Then you have the ones that obviously do both. And usually, most Governments have prosecutors that can do either or both for no cost. (Usually)
Apart from their usual work in defending and prosecuting—Lawyers are also meant to file documents that keep the public safe. Whether it be an individual or multiple... They're major pillars when it comes to lots of things involving the Law (obviously) and overall making sure that everything is up to par foundationally.
Judge
Next—If Lawyers are meant to be the biggest corner stones of the Government, then Judges are the walls of it. The big boss even—though their jurisdiction may seemingly weigh on the public, Lawyers, and so on. When needed—and sometimes when necessary. Judges are often the ones that have the final say, even in spite of a Jury.
Judges hold trials for the innocent or guilty. They issue warrants to police departments for their obvious needs. They review cases that need court dates. And of course, also do things that Lawyers and Governors may do—like officiating marriages or filing restraining orders. Many judges are seen as people who have the most power in the court room—but this isn't necessarily to say it isn't truth. Especially when a court room is simply just of the judge, the prosecutor, and the defendant. The Judge, once given all the evidence and story. Often hold the final word of how the case may go. Hence giving them a much higher place on the podium, I think—Lawyers and Judges work hand in hand. Without one, the other can't really do their job technically speaking. Making them just as essential to a typical government.
Deputy-Mayor
Next—The Deputy-Mayor is like the person you get to before talking to the big boss- they work as something like a co-chair. A vice under the main person that overthrows the operation. Deputy-Mayor is meant to overlook all aspects of the government, and usually has just as much experience or as much as possible knowledge of the departments in the judicial system and so on. Much like a second in command or an assistant of some sort to the current one. The responsibilities—though lesser to their higher-ups. Their job is still to maintain the upkeep of the law. If the Mayor just so happens to have a lot on their plate, the Deputy-Mayor comes behind to do the job. And on occasion—if anything happens with the Mayor in terms of them having to step down suddenly. The Deputy-Mayor takes their place
Mayor
Lastly—The mayor. Which is, very obviously. The most important role in the entire faction/government. Without them, much of the things listed would be null and likely in chaos. They're the ones who appoint the Lawyers and higher the Judges. The ones who send out the Governors to let the word be known and hold up press conferences for the city to be informed of important public records and such. They keep the city running, they keep the people in good hands (usually) and are above all the people who oversee all things that happen within their city. Upholding jurisdiction and legislation.

Marcus would sit across from the desk in front of him. Setting his suitcase beside the chair he sat in before looking up to the interviewer. Adjusting his glasses onto his face and clearing his throat before speaking clearly. "My name is Marcus Sinclair"
Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):
The man would hum in response, nodding his head with closed eyes. "Mr. Sinclair is just fine" He'd answer, folding his hands in his lap.
Current age:
"I'm currently 39 years old" He answered, almost as if he were trying to rush past that question.
Date of birth:
"November 13th... 1984" Marcus answer again, looking off to the side as he'd adjust his tie. The question felt a bit invasive—despite it obviously not being that at all. He closed his eyes, the moment passed. Get over it.
Academic Background:
Would hum to the thought of this question—a consistent tone. It seemed to jog his memory to some extent, before he'd begin to speak. "Ah, yes. Well. Starting from Primary school. I did plentiful championships and competitions in my county. And some regional even—placing firsts here and seconds there. I was quite the- well... Ambitious child. Then, secondary school came about. I went to Westminster. And was in two clubs then. The debate team and the chess club... Both would meet on either weekends... I digress. I attended many debate meets and even earned myself some awards in my years of being in those clubs- not to mention also gaining a few chess trophies... Likely more than the debate ones, but..."
He took time to think to himself on his College days, now. Scratching the side of his face before lowering it again. Rocking his foot a bit as it stayed crossed. over the other. "Anyway, Moving on. My A-Levels were in Social Sciences, Humanities, and Language Arts. And I was the highest in those classes before graduating... My many achievements had earned me a scholarship to Oxford and Cambridge—it was quite the decision to make at the time but, honestly. I opted in for Oxford... I mean, not like you'd get the chance to earn yourself that?" He would joke, but his face hadn't cracked a smile. The corner of his lip barely quivered.
"In college I had many of the same achievements... I did some volunteering in my uni's law clinic... And had even written a novel and published it in the library there—it did well. But, I'd say it's behind me.... But I digress." Marcus would adjust in his seat, sitting further back as his back straightened "I decided to become a Solicitor, so I did my 3 years and earned my unergrad... Then passed my SQE... And worked 2 years at a law firm I interned at for some time..." Marcus would explain, raising his hands as he spoke to speak with slightly more expression than before
Work experience:
Marcus had a weary look in his eye as his expression looked a bit dreaded. Clearing his throat again. "Ah, yes. Well, as mentioned. I interned at a law firm for some time near my university and there I earned my job after doing my near 4 years of work. And honestly worked at that law firm since. Until I... Decided to leave."
He scratched the back of his neck "I've done plentiful cases in my life, though. I've had my fare share of drafting up documents and advising clients... Representing and such. Calling for Barristers—the whole nine." He would nod, cutting through the thick air. Mainly for himself.
Nationality & born location:
"Ghanaian. Born in Accra, but—shortly after my birth my parents moved to Windsor. Settled for a short time, 've course- then we moved further into London." He'd tell the interviewer, looking quite at peace when mentioning his birth home.
Criminal record:
"None, i've never been the type to mess with any of that sort..." He waved his hand
What makes you a good candidate for this job?:
"My work ethic. I've done nothing but work hard and strive for the highest my entire life. I try my best and do my best. Nothing more nothing less... And. I feel—as a hard worker, and as someone who has that forward thinking mindset. I'd bring a new... Feel to the work environment—at least... That is what I know I can do. My worth. My ethics and quite honestly what I can do for the people that I will soon work with." Marcus relaxed slightly in his seat, though he maintained professionalism throughout the interview—a layer had seemed to shed. Perfection and a bit of superiority?
"I want to bring justice to those who need it. I believe—you understand what I mean? I want to fill in spaces that are empty. Seeing that there is... More than enough space for me to likely fill. I hope to be that one that you all can rely on to make that effort for the people who need it... Inside and out. And efficiently at that."
