This thread is to be taken ICly. It is a letter.
Letters were thrown about the city and distributed. Unlike former attempts, which hired Karakura High students, Katsuhito had sent government workers to distribute them across the town.

Dearest Karakura,

These are troubling times. Troubling times indeed. With the collapse of our sewer system and entrapping many of our beloved ones, and Onrain posts defaming and accusing the residents of the island of heinous crimes, today we sit in utter shock at the stabbing of our mighty, glorious mayor. Mayor Iwao Akihito survives the stabbing from this uncouth attacker, whom I assure you has been taken into our loyal police department's custody.

At such dire times, it is imperative and certainly a duty for all of us to remain unified. I suspect that the coming days bear looming, dark clouds over this beautiful Izu island. Remain united, be one strong hand, and should the Lord grace us with sunshine after this storm, then know it was because of your good merits and your desire for peace with your friends and family. Attend to your family, be responsible, and do your duty to those who raised you.

During these days, ensure you are safe and do not spread gossip that has not been confirmed. Fearmongering is what destroys connections between us all. Your government is strong, including the Town Hall, General Hospital, and Police Department. We are all striving to ensure your safety, but you must also be responsible.

You are loved, Karakura, and you will continue to be cherished. You are an island filled with history and names that bring pride for being residents of the island, whether you are an ancient Itsbyoshi or an exchange student. All are equal. All must stand together. All are loved. We will fight back.

Yours truly,
Your son, Katsuhito Saiky-Akihito
