Describe your activity on the server:
I have been playing on SchoolRP for a while, as I currently have 1 week of playtime on the server. I have gone around and played with many people, making some IC and OOC friends on the server. Recently, I had joined a gang on the server and participated in some GangRP, furthering my experience in roleplay on the server itself, and furthering it in general. I had played prior to December 2025, however for the times that I did play, they were not notable aside from me just fishing on the server and/or participating in little roleplay on the server for my other previous characters that I have had.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?
Yes

School Employee Role you are applying for?
Receptionist

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
As a Receptionist at Karakura High School, it is crucial for the employee to assist in guiding students on school related things that they might need to be helped with, or by helping in long distance communication within the building. Whether it's helping in processing reward stickers, helping students by answering some questions they might have, or just simply carrying the day on by making some light small talk, receptionists at Karakura are useful for one of the aspects of roleplay: Getting some help. On the topic of questions, receptionists can help guide newcomers to the school, or really any student that comes their way, by helping in answering questions, giving directions, or really by walking people through a common school day here. On the other topic of calling for help, they are a "one trick" ticket to getting serious matters handled, for example, reporting fights or making announcements on the intercom to get students to go certain places. They're one of the strongest helping hands in communication, being able to assist in matters from just a little spot. No matter how it's done, the receptionists are the front lines for guidance, information, or calling for help. Really, they're almost like the brain of the school, coordinating things and stuff.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?
I have been roleplaying for a solid 4 years. Aside from my roleplay experience, I am a writer in my free time, and I have been writing for around 3 years. Due to my experience in writing, I feel I can fit the role of a character in a way that allows me to roleplay them. I have been noticed on SRP for my DetailRPs, whether it's something involving interrupting class or just in general conversation at random times where I'd add too much detail to something for absolutely zero reason, just because I can, and I find interest in it as a whole.

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?
I would like to join the School Employee faction due to the opportunities and perks that I can get from it, most notably the potential increase of experience in my roleplay on the server by participating in a more serious role, compared to a casual student. Also, by being applying to become a School Employee, it can help display trust and experience for any other applications that I may make on the server for more experienced roles. Furthermore, I also would like to note that I would love to participate in activities that are related to school faculty, for example special school faculty events that may happen. Finally, I'd like to just be a school employee in general, it seems like a form of roleplay that would be fun to do.

"Situations"

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?
He'd be on the set, lounging inside the back lobby's desk, just reading the city newspaper as he was drinking his morning coffee. After all the commotion died down, a college student would slam both of his hands on the front desk, trying to get a reaction out of Lucian. "Hey, what's the big idea pal? Bad morning?" Lucian would say, slightly upset at the gesture. The student would jingle a dog collar in front of the man shortly after, jingling the bell as he'd say "Hey dog, what's it like being a little puppy for the school, huh? I know who you are, I googled you last night, drink boy." he'd say, taunting him about his previous job "You'd think for such a prestigious school, they'd hire a little dog like you." Lucian, clearly not amused by the student's taunting would shortly hand the student an over-the-counter prescription for disaster: A detention slip. "Don't bark, it doesn't suit you." Lucian would say, smirking a bit as he pushed the slip closer to the student's reach. "Oh? Oh yeah? You think some paper's gonna tell me what to do?" the student would say before ripping the slip in two. Lucian would lean forward in his seat, clearly interested in the fight this student was giving, before adding on "Hey hey, you're already in the system, so shredding that would just be useless for you, son. You'll be due for Verbal Assault in detention. Skipping is futile." Lucian would say in a low voice, despite no one being around him except for the college student.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?
The coffee machine dinged as it finished, as Lucian swiftly pulled the pot out of the machine to get some for himself. He'd groan as he sealed the cup before stepping outside of the break room. Not even a few seconds of silence later, there was some commotion going on in front of the Reception desk, he'd be able to tell as briefly caught a glimpse of a student being pulled off of it. He'd rush over with his coffee in hand, before stepping between the students, before dropping a "HEY!" between them, slowly breaking them apart as he held his paper cup, for it was thankfully sealed. "Hands off, hands off." he'd add on before assessing the situation, looking for any immediate injuries that'd need to be taken care of. One of the students fighting had received a bloody nose, so he'd ask "Who did this to you?" before she'd point behind Lucian at the slightly taller male behind him. "Knuckles, now." he'd say, following the same protocol he was taught when he was hired, checking if he'd actually put hands on her. Sure enough, his knuckles seemed to be pure evidence as they'd have a small blood stain and bruising. "Alright. That's enough." he'd say before pulling a spare slip out of his pocket, as he left the rest of his book at his desk, signing the student's name on the paper before handing it to him. "If you got issues, take it outside. Don't do stuff like this here." he said, before motioning for other students to help the girl out, and setting his coffee down so he could assess the situation further before returning to his duty.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?
While on his way to switch stations, he'd catch a glimpse of a P.E. teacher acting a fool, hanging off of one of the basketball hoops after what appears to be the aftermath of him dunking on a student. Lucian would make his way around the glass, to yell "Oi, sir! This doesn't look like work to me!" Getting closer to see what was happening, the teacher replied "What, I'm just teachin' the kids some basketball? You wanna go next?" he said in a silly way, to almost confuse that it was something rather normal, when it wasn't. "Oh my god, is he out?" one of the female students exclaimed, pointing to the roughed up male under the same basket the teacher was hanging off of a bit ago. Yep, this wasn't something right, Lucian would think to himself. "Hey, get that kid some help, he doesn't look too good." he'd say in a strong tone "Also, change your routine man. This clearly isn't safe. I would half a mind to report you to the higher ups here and now- Actually, I am going to do it." he'd say, before radioing the teacher's actions, asking for some assistance on this issue.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
I'll provide two scenarios in one, since this guy is careful about how others see him.

First Scenario: Alone
As Lucian had locked the door behind him at his desk, he'd stroll down the hall looking around at the school, as he wasn't all that familiar with it yet. Making it to the break room, he'd noticed there was no one there except himself. He'd sigh, before adjusting his clothes and making his way over to the break room's kitchenette. He'd feel relieved, being given a fancy little environment to relax in before turning back to do his job. He'd prompt the coffee machine to start, as someone probably took it all, or it was dumped out. Probably just waiting for, you know, the obvious, he'd lounge in the chair, as no one walked in. It was baffling to him, for such a well staffed school to have a break room this empty. 'They're probably all just busy,' he'd think to himself as the coffee machine beeped, tattling on itself for the sole fact that it was finished brewing. He'd finish his break a minute early, taking the paper cup and coffee with him, adding a sugar packet into the cup gently. He didn't really like black coffee that much.

Second Scenario: Fellow Coworkers
Entering the break room for a second time today, he'd notice that the one of the school's nurses was there as well. He'd stare for a second, before letting out a little "Hey.", before doing his usual routine to get some coffee. She'd of course, reply back, it would be rude to do otherwise, but she wasn't doing it like it was a rude thing to respond, no. She did it because she wanted to converse with Lucian. "Hey Lucian, having fun so far?" she'd say, almost like a taunt, but it was never meant to be taken that way. "Yeah, these students are not exactly friendly, but hey, it's not like they're threatening me with saws yet." he'd say, chuckling as he took the prior to heart rather than the latter. Luckily, the nurse caught onto the humor, replying with a half joking "Hey, be nice! They just need help, and you're nice enough to assist, right?" Admittedly, heeding her words did sound like the right thing to do in his mind, as he'd reply with a form of agreement, whether it's a 'yeah', or an actual sentence, closing in on an agreement on what she said. The coffee machine dinged, however it seemed silly to him as it felt like it took a little bit longer of a time for it to finish than usual. "You want some?" he'd offer to her, clearly enjoying the company. Even though it wasn't peace and quiet from all the commotion, it was surely nice to have an actual conversation in the midst of work, rather than relaying answers to students at the front.

Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:

/me
would gently place his hands on the keyboard, placing his fingers on the home row as he was taught, turning his head towards the student who had just walked up to the desk. "Welcome to the front desk, may I help you with something?" he'd say in a lower toned voice, also leaning a bit forward as he tried to listen closer to catch what the student was going to say the first time, rather than having them repeat their self
/me got up out of his chair, scooting it a bit back for when he came back, treading towards the back of the desk area to pull out something from the storage. He'd find the correct chest, blowing the dust off of the top of it, prying it open slightly. He'd grab a school kit from inside the container, and close it gently. Shortly thereafter, he'd walk back and sit down in his chair, prompting the student with a light joke "Is this your card? he said, grinning a bit as he held the kit up to eliminate any of the confusion with his joke, but he'd also hope that he'd gotten the joke across well
/me clicked the tab of his can of coffee, fidgeting with it as he searched the school records digitally for previous incidents that could be related to John Doe, as he'd been a known troublemaker that might've caused his third strike. He'd take his hand off the can, moving it to his chin as he brushed his hair, seriously focusing as he pulled up the student's record, searching for any previous infractions

"Backstory"

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
It would be a calm night inside the bar he worked in, when the phone rang. As per usual, he stepped over to the phone to answer it. "Hey, this is the bartender, looking for someone?" he replied, before hearing "I'm looking for a Sorrentino, does he still work here?" This is the exact phrase he dreaded, was he being hunted again? Surely not, right? Lucian replied with a firm, yet gentle tone "And what would be the reason you're looking for him?" he said, unsure of what they might reply with. The bar had been quiet, with the jazz playing in the background, and yet it was almost closing time, when the man over the phone had said some rather interesting words. "Una via di fuga, amico mio." Curious, as he'd been looking for a better life all this time, as working the role of a bartender wasn't exactly as nice as it was back then, he'd reply "What are you implying?" A neutral, yet serious response from him that seemed like it wasn't something he'd just brush off.

An escape from his current life, is what he was offered. Was he willing to take it, as per the words of this younger sounding man over the phone? He'd been fine for a while, so maybe just putting the nail in the coffin with whatever he had going on behind him would surely help his future. The man over the phone assured him with some words, "Don't worry, friend. I've seen what you've done before, and your work is honestly impressive. I just wonder, what would you think it would be like to work a white collar job, hmm?" Lucian had to really think, but even then, it left him intrigued. "Give me the details, now." he said, in a demanding tone. Despite his reputation as a bartender, he'd come across to figure out what kind of escape from his old life this would be. Would it be great? Would it be bad? Would it even be worth it to do this at all? This was all he could think about as he was on a plane to Japan, after following the man's instructions.

He'd rent out a small apartment, casually browsing the newspaper in Karakura, when he heard there was some help wanted at the local high school. He thought, 'Was this what that man was talking about?' Surely, right? He felt like this was his chance, so he leaped out of his chair to seize the opportunity as fast as he could, almost tripping over his rug as he reached for his phone, trying to claim a chance for an application. He rushed as he opened the school's website, looking to see how to apply. He felt motivated in this rush, trying to grasp at an opportunity, a chance to be great.

"How foolish."

Despite feeling like there was someone out there to get him, he felt he could live a reasonable life for now, even if it's gonna be gone soon. He saw that they were hiring receptionists, and thought to himself: "Well, I've worked around people before, maybe they'll like my charm..." It was a selfish thought, but he'd thought to give it his best shot, motivating himself to strive to be a member of society, instead of just a stay-at-home man with little to nothing happening around him. Well, clearly he hasn't experienced Karakura to it's fullest extent, yet.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?
He stated briefly, having never truly been asked this question, the following: "I would like to mention that my previous work around people allows me to be a sociable person. Even if I'm confined to a counter, like I was at my last job, I can surely give out my best helping hand to the people around me, and do my best for the people around me!" he said, smiling in confidence.

────────────

After the interview was over, he'd bow down at a 90 degree angle as rehearsed, showing some respect to the interviewer. Shortly after, he'd excuse himself out of the building, awaiting a phone call . . .
"Extra"
