School Employee Role you are Applying For: Lunchtime Monitor
How often do you log onto the server?: I spend quite a lot of time on SRP, sometimes I have real life stuff, but it usually lasts no longer than a few days. If it does take a considerable amount of time, I will give reason for my absence.
Do you have discord?
Yes, my tag on it is you#3269.
Do you have a microphone?
I do not, but if there is a voice chat i'm asked to join I will definitely join it.
Have you ever been banned, If yes when and why?:
No, I have not ever been banned.
Can you ensure that you will often come on:
Yes. Again, if there is a reason for my sudden lack of activity, I will make it known why.
Do you recognise that you can be ICly fired?:
Of course.
In as much detail as possible, describe the role of your chosen school employee:
A lunchtime monitors, also sometimes known as a cafeteria monitor's job is to ensure the students behaviors are not disturbing anyone or potentially harmful. They also must ensure the space is clean and that students are not making a mess and being grateful for the food they are given. They also must make sure that the food being served is nutritionally balanced and will not cause any student to get potentially sick.
Do you have any past experience in this type of roleplay?:
Yes, High School role plays were always a thing when I started roleplaying. They were a bit limiting, but limitations can birth creativity. That being said, I've also had a good time in SchoolRP due to the things you can do on there, and the fact that it's controlled in a manner that is fair to everyone is something that I enjoy.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have been roleplaying since 2014, but have been creating original characters for a while. One thing about role plays is that they are either a complete disaster or so strictly controlled that it's not fun, but that can boil down to the players and what they think is realistic and fair.
Are you familiar with what your job does? If so, describe it:
To be honest, Not much. That being said, Of course I know what you must do if you are a lunchtime monitor. I think its foolish to apply to something you have no idea about, but trying new things is great experience. So, I want to apply for Lunchtime Monitor because its something that seems like it has a lot of variety, it's something you can really experiment with.
[Situations]
During a workshift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how do you react?:
I feel its mostly due to a lack of discipline and common sense, so its something the person themselves has to work on. If they show ignorance and do not listen, then it's simpler for everyone if they are sent away in order to not spread negative influence.
You are doing a hazadrous job requested by the School Principal, how do you react?:
That's something that requires context. If the School Principal is asking me to assassinate the student who stole his Mars bar, then obviously not. It depends if its something that has been asked out of fear of what will happen to themselves or pure laziness.
Another school employee is doing something very dangerous on the job or acting out of order, how do you react?:
First of all, Yikes. Second of all, This person has had experience to become a school employee. They know what they are doing. For them to do something dangerous would be very serious, as it could make other people think its okay. It's something that should be dealt with strictly.

Applicant Name: Sueki Hui
Chosen Job: Lunchtime Monitor
Motivation for Joining YHS: YHS has had a great positive influence on me as a person, and I want to repay that by doing what I can to help students become respectable, intelligent adults. Recently, I see students running around with baseball bats and masks. That's something I personally take very seriously, as such things can really influence a student. Another thing I think is really sad is that everyone just has a Marshmellow Treat for lunch and thinks its ok to have such food everyday. I want to show students that if you do not take care of yourself and respect the space, you will not have a good future.
Age: 21
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
It appears that a lot of employees recently have seemed a little robotic and tired of what they do and just allow students to do whatever they please, which I think is really sad considering that they may not know how much that can say to students. I want to be as organic and true to students as possible, and teach them good table manners and how to be grateful for the food they receive, as they don't really stop and think about how lucky they are to be in such a school and social class.
