Describe your activity on the server:
When it comes to my activity on the server, I have yet to disappoint anyone. My activity is a steady 6-10 hours each day. I enjoy playing with friends on the server and some days it's very slow paced, other days it's fast. I can be found either roleplaying with friends on my college character or roleplaying with others on my teacher account. Besides roleplaying, I'm also a builder in my free time on the creative server and a tailor for SRP. The longest I've gone without logging onto the server to play is 2 or 3 days. I'd like to believe I'm in the top 3 most active players currently.

What is your motivation for applying?:
I am interested in broadening my roleplay experiences on the server and my personal knowledge on the servers crime fighting side of things. I enjoy writing and generally roleplaying with others, so I feel that the KPD is the perfect place to do this with the amount of gangrp'ers stabbing carotids and starting drama. I want to make a difference in the roleplaying community with my activity, and I feel that between my detailrp and general love for everything law (I was in college OOCly for forensic psychology) it would make for a fun chance at seeing how things are run from the other side of the KPD stations front desk. ICly the job would fit my characters development.
Do you understand Japanese Laws and Basic Conduct?
I understand the basics, although I may still need a bit of assistance at times. I know that if I were to be accepted it'd also give me the learning experience I'd need in order to further my knowledge on the Japanese Laws and Basic Conduct. I've already had a lot of talks with the KPD and have made mental notes of the various laws and requirements stated in the forums.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
From experiencing it ICly and OOCly (indirectly OOCly) I'd say my knowledge is pretty broad. I always had a strong interest in anything to do with police work, and having done criminology courses as well as studying up on documentaries as well as watching them work in real time; it's an experience all on it's own. I know that police officers must be able to adapt to their environment, or the situation at hand. They need to be able to communicate with one another and get their point across (no beating around the bush). They are also supposed to be professional while on the job.
As a KPD officer, you are an officer who enforces the law no matter how minor it may be. KPD officers will stop people wearing masks under suspicion of illegal activity, and thus are able to search said person as needed. If you are caught with anything illegal on you KPD will check it and/or fine you/jail you depending on what the item is.
If you are a KPD officer, your job is also to respond to 110 calls and figure out the situation; ensuring you are able to get to it with what you need. You ask questions such as how many people there are, any weapons involved, where it is, etc.
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
Active police officers are important, especially as of recently due to the rise in gang activity. Police officers not only provide a proper roleplay style for the citizens of Karakura, and someone to depend on, but they also act as a sort of protector. They're there to ensure peace; whether that be stopping minors from drinking, murders taking place, or people mugging one another. The police are essential members of the community. Without them, more murders would take place.
Do you acknowledge that you're subject to being demoted if accepted at any given time?
I understand that I can be demoted at any given time, seeing as you should be active when being a fundamental role of the server.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are authorised to attend or you will be punished?
I do understand that training is an important part of being a police officer. It is important to train so you have better hand eye coordination when it comes to tasers as well as guns. It gives us more of an understand of what to expect in a situation as well as helps us for patrols.
Do you acknowledge that you’re subject to IC harassment, and you are NOT to take things OOCly when dealing with training & situations?
I acknowledge that I can't take ICly things into OOC, seeing as that's breaking a rule. I don't take things personally, either.

CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Ayano Kusanagi is a 5'3 Japanese female. She had a stern expression on her face; seemingly displeased at everything and everyone she met. She had slanted almond eyes, hazel in color which stood out from her lighter skin tone. She had a thin feminine figure, although it was clear she had a bit of muscle to her as though she worked out regularly. She'd be 44 years of age, although due to genetics and how she held herself she'd appear to be at least 10 years younger. She had a light melodic voice but when she spoke it was often laced with a strict commanding tone. She had blonde hair usually held in a ponytail or pulled off to the side. She enjoyed spending time with her family and has managed to stay neutral on many different grounds.
What they're like on and off the job?
On Duty Ayano is a professional individual, she prefers to stay on-task and is careful to avoid any distractions. She's hard set and serious, preferring to keep work professional. She's bright around the station and stays on-task, making sure to providie what she can to civilians in need. She's easy-going with her coworkers when in the station, supportive to individuals coming in to make reports, and alert when on patrol.
When off duty, Ayano will usually be found spending her time in the plaza or with family members; helping her husband at his shop as an example. She is a stoic woman who prefers to keep to herself, and tends to wear business casual clothes. If she is close with her coworkers who also happen to be off duty she will speak to them and hang out; giving them the silent support and protection they may need even while not on the clock. She's careful to ensure their safety.
Outlook on their co-workers? Plans for the future?
Ayano enjoys her time spent with her coworkers and can be seen striking up conversations with them when they aren't busy. She keeps up a professional outlook on the job while still keeping a small smile on her face. She's respectful to those around her as much as she expects that same respect to be shown back to her. She's supportive towards her coworkers, tending to push them and motivate them to keep moving forward towards their goals. She prefers living in the moment, so her plans for the future aren't too in depth, just hoping that she can do as much as she can to help those around her and being a functioning member of society. One of the few things she hopes to achieve is becoming a detective.
BACKSTORY

In her early high school days, her parents had forced her to work day in and day out as the CEO of their company. Between that and her studies, she grew lonely and stressed wanting nothing more than to escape this life of feeling as though she were being forced into something she didn't want. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't able to escape it. Instead, she had grown up being a savvy business woman, eventually giving into her fate.
In college, it was brought up to her that she should further her career as a lawyer, a judge, or even an officer instead of a CEO of her parents business, and she had agreed to do exactly that. During dinners she was used to listening to the political debates and her father was an avid talker, going on and on about how things could change to stop the crime rates, what they could do different. Mentioning how they need a stronger police force. Ayano knew that this was her only string of hope at escaping from being the CEO of her parents company.
She focused her college studies on Criminal Justice and Psychology in hopes of bettering her career and planting her foot down to escape the life she was destined to have. After her studies were finished, she had decided to start an internship in Tokyo, Japan for 3 years. Eventually, she had moved back to Karakura where she spent time working towards helping her husband and his company.
In the end, Ayano had decided she wanted to advance her career even further, having gotten away from her parents company, she figured that being a KPD officer was a sure way for her to do what she genuinely enjoyed doing while keeping herself away from the business aspect.
