Mahiru has fluffy eyelashes and eyebrows and purple (technically lilac) eyes, a usual smile on his face showing his tooth gap
(if you can see his mouth that is) and mid length platinum blond hair covering his eyes.
Personality:
Mahiru still has plenty to work out, though as of now he is a very curious young man. Though he tries his best to
respect other's boundaries. He's also very kind and very playful.
But despite his cheerful personality he is usually very reserved and has a very short running social battery. He likes to
spend time by himself and read much more than he does with others, but he doesn't mind the company.
Mahiru can be very stubborn and childish at times, though this is very much due to his young age. Sometimes in
which he doesn't get his way or becomes overwhelmed he will lash out. Not yelling, but becoming very upset and
very hard to manage or talk to afterwards. He still has much to work on

Backstory:
Mahiru was born and raised by parents who owned a quaint little coffee shop in his home town. When Mahiru was about 9 he loved watching his parents work and eventually got to work alongside them, doing small things around their store such as cleaning and dishes after school. After some time Mahiru's parents taught him the process of making coffee and tea. Though making tea was fun, Mahiru really grew into making coffee overtime.
During his final years of primary school, Mahiru planned on continuing to learn how to learn to make coffee and get into the family business. Though he slowly grew out of it, and started to get into more artistic things like drawing and painting, even later starting to write short stories. What brought him to do these things were mainly him enjoying reading story books, picture books, and eventually some comics from his siblings. Since his older brother was somewhat of a writer himself, and his sister was dabbling in some arts. He decided to take lessons from them whenever they were available, which they did. Reluctantly at first, but soon enough his siblings would learn to get used to it, as they saw it as good bonding time with their brother.
Mahiru's parents were skeptical at first but eventually started to invest in their sons hobbies. Wanting him to flourish in the things he liked, and not wanting to stray him away from the things he enjoyed.
After graduating primary school, Mahiru's parents sent him to live with his older brother in Karakura since they've had their eye on Sakura high. Seeing the school as a perfect outlet for their son to get better at the crafts he wants to continue doing himself. The see it as a perfect opportunity for Mahiru to grow in his talents. And maybe even find more things he enjoys doing.
