Backstory
Mako was born in Tokyo to a single mom. She was quite abusive towards him as a child, always blaming him for her problems. When he was 6 years old, after a particularly bad day, he was berated by his mother for hours, and that was the day Mako decided to fight back and tell her she was a Bad mom. In response she
right infront of him, leaving him scarred forever. He unfortunately had a similar incident with one of his doctors who did the same however it always made everyone suspicious of Mako’s true intentions.

Ignacio Kaizen
(Brother, Best friend, Captain, Dorm-mate)
If someone can be called Mako’s best-friend its Ignacio. A man who is like his polar opposite. Mako and Ignacio always bicker, and argue, with them always trying to one up each other in their pranks. He knows a lot of things about Ignacio and loves him, even though others might think otherwise.

(Straight Femboy)
Bel is an extremely goofy and very fun friend of Mako’s. He is Cousin’s with Ignacio, and despite the problematic relationship Ignacio and his mother share, Mako always feels comfortable around him. They enjoy singing Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus Together.
Soren St. Yves

Soren was the girl Ignacio had ever shown posessiveness over, and that was fine by Mako, he was never really interested in her. However as Mako got to know Soren he developed a form of respect towards her. It all changed when Mako fell in love, and he spoke to Soren about it, its when he truly got to know her plight and vowed to always do right by her, which meant always keeping it real.

Xion ‘X’ Kim-Min
(The love of my love.. mi amor)
They met when Mako noticed a beautiful boy with the most intriguing appearance in school. Every time he would see him, he would go up to him call him pretty and run away. Eventually Xion managed to get a hold of him and started talking. Xion was the devil, consistently making Mako blush but eventually Mako realized he really trusts xion. Mako understands Xion to be unattainable as he has an ‘Almost girlfriend’ and another interest being Poly, but without wanting to, he cannot stop being mesmerized by his beautiful hair, and it doesnt help that he is always so caring towards Mako.
Chris A. Yamashita
(It was short and sweet, thank you)
Mako’s first consented kiss. They met cutely, and Chris was always flirty towards Mako. He taught Mako that consented kisses could be so sweet. The reason they stopped pursuing things was because Mako was not comfortable with the idea of Chris being Poly. They are friends though.
IN KARAKURA
First day at Karakura Mako had the chance to Hang around with his mother and her friends. Building a few quick bonds, his story really started when they moved into the sports dorms, and after the Basketball tryouts happened.
Ignacio and Mako always keep trying to one up each other by doing something to annoy the other, however since Ignacio is close frends with Mako’s mother, he tends to snitch on him quite a bit, but also not about the other things. He is notorious for getting upset, and also burning down the kitchen incase he decides to cook.
One of his pranks Got out of hand when they decided to mess up Ingacios bed with quite a bit of violent things, however being the guy he is he ended up caving in and Ignacio ended up getting with the girl Mako was interested in. Hurt and confused Mako ended up doing very confusing things for a few days and this is when he made friends with Xion, a boy Mako might be in love with but has no idea.
Xion and Mako shared a moment after Mako had a breakdown fighting with his mother and ignacio, and its something that he holds dearly. He did draw a boundary on not taking that any further as he didn’t want to be just one of the people Xion is with. This is currently breaking his heart, however his bonding with his teammates and practice is what keeps him going.
BASKET BALL STUFF
Mako felt out of place in Karakura with everyone being so much more talented than he was, but his passion and fire started thanks to Souta, a member of the male spartans basketball team. He plans to oneday surpass his skills, and keeps practicing and striving to get better. He is co-captain, yet he doesn't understand why Ignacio chose him. His idea of leadership is a stark contrast to Ignacio, yet somehow his goofyness is what helps keep all the team interactions light.

MUSIC
Music is how Mako communicates, it started with sharing tunes with Xion over playlists and moved onto to him starting to exchange depressive music with Soren with his broken heart. He continued playing and eventually decided to make a band. The Band - 'Archangel' Has Soren as Lead vocalist, him and Sid. They jam all the time, and Mako has recently started to start building towards a Music club in school
