Ichigo was someone you never would’ve expected Margo to have been friends with. Friendly, popular and eventual captain of the volleyball team it was a bit odd seeing her hanging around a girl like Margo. Surprisingly the two had a long history together having met when they both had first arrived to the island, the two girls had a close friendship thanks to their small friend group consisting of Lucinda, Blaire, and Sarah. As time went by the two grew more distant but would still occasionally meet to drink together and chat.

One of the first friends that Margo originally made when she first arrived Blaire was a posh french girl with a stuck up attitude and a knack of getting into trouble. She somehow always managed to drag their entire friend group into odd situations and dramas but Margo was always down for the ride. They weren't particularly close but Margo remembers her fondly.

Lucinda was Margo’s first real best friend, the loud girl somehow managing to pry her reserved self out of her shell. The two were like oil and water and while that would usually make people butt heads the two somehow kindled a close and tight friendship built off mischief and trust. Lucinda had a way that just calmed and reassured Margo by just being near her and if it wasn't for her terminal illness that friendship might’ve lasted longer. A fight between the two ended their friendship with Margo unknowingly speaking her last words to Lucinda only later finding out through a mutual friend that she headed back to her home for treatment as her health had been rapidly declining, something Lucinda wanted to explain before they got into a fight. Despite Margo reaching out to Lucinda through texts they were never read and her calls never answered. She never got to apologize for what she said and now is unsure if her former friend is even alive.
John ‘Wick’ Wong - DECEASED
John was one of the few people Margo would actually consider her family, originally introduced to him through mutual friends; his rather pragmatic personality felt like a breath of fresh air, especially when everyone around them acted like Alex and Kai beating each other with bats until they ended up in the hospital was totally normal. He was mostly reserved and kept to himself like Margo, which is how the two grew to be well acquainted, conversing quietly despite the chaos going on around them. The more she got to know him the more of his actual personality shone through, he turned out to be a rather sassy man. Margo grew to deeply trust John and eventually even considered him her older brother, often going with Sarah to the police station to visit and drop off oranges for him. The news of his murder left a hole in her heart that still hasn’t healed to this day.
Kai Koroner - MISSING
Margo’s relationship with Kai was rather rough, he was a loudmouth troublemaker who had no problem getting into fights and scuffles while margo on the other hand tried to get him out of it. The two could never seem to click the way everyone else did leaving their relationship slightly strained and delicate. Still once they took on the Koroner name Margo tried to make an effort to be a sister to Kai despite his terrible behavior and if she was honest with herself little progress was made in their relationship. Kai stopped coming around and never returned.
Ogami Koroner - MISSING
One of the first people to join the Koroner family, Ogami was a shy and sweet boy who both Sarah and Margo quickly grew close with, sharing inside jokes and headbutts. Margo would often spend her free time with or around Ogami, the two clicking together like two pieces of a puzzle.

Two Swedish twins that Margo had run into while on a walk with her sister Sarah. The two spoke very broken Japanese but somehow the two managed to understand their situation. They had run away from home and came to karakura to live with their older brother. Finding the two charming Margo decided to house them while they helped them look for their older brother but this choice quickly snowballed into an adoption situation with Margo finding herself being the official guardian of the two. Margo found solace with the kids appreciating their silly pranks on her stuck up family and their mischievous demeanor eventually coming to accept her new title given to her by the twins as their “rich auntie”. She grew to become a parental figure in their life, often spoiling them with gifts.
Leo ‘Ito’ Yamagata - DECEASED
A good for nothing gangster that margo had met when she was trying to sell him alcohol for the Koroner family business. Leo was a flirty man who had swept her off her feet and eventually stole her heart, associating himself with her family, especially her brother Alex. Leo was a well known thug who had good connections and influence leading to Alex seeing their marriage as beneficial. He pushed for the two to get engaged, wanting to have him as a permanent ally to the Koroner family. Life seemed to have other plans for the lovers and during the short duration of their engagement their world turned upside down with their relationship deteriorating every day. Leo had become absent in their relationship leaving Margo to feel abandoned and turning to alcohol to cope, further ruining her mental health. Almost taking her life at the lighthouse Margo and her siblings were shocked when Leo jumped off faking his death only to return as a pesky thorn at the Koroner family's side. He had turned against their family and started working against them until he was inevitably killed by some other gang.

Father to her son and the love of her life, Paris was the man that Margo thought she would spend the rest of her life with. Unfortunately for her like most things in her life they weren’t meant to last and Paris’s health rapidly declined after Margo discovered her pregnancy. It took only 2 months for the cancer to take him leaving Margo on her own again. Looking back on it without the rose colored glasses the two were incredibly flawed and bad for each other, their relationship built on an unhealthy codependency that they refused to acknowledge at the time. She desperately wishes she could’ve done things differently.

Introduced through her sister Sarah, Margo had a positive friendship and association with curry, he was a funny and down to earth guy and Margo really appreciated that about him. It wasn't uncommon to find the two sitting in the plaza talking about miscellaneous topics or messing around with the Kenta twins. Curry is someone who Margo knew she could find solace in when her sister wasn't around.
‘Kale’ and ducks - ALIVE
Lonely and bored Margo managed to find a nest of abandoned duck eggs at the park, candleing the eggs she was shocked to see were still alive. Despite how illegal it was she took them home and incubated them til they hatched raising the chicks in her room until they started to grow too big for their makeshift home. Knowing Alex would be upset with the absurd amount of ducks she moved them to an abandoned home on the edge of town, stopping by daily to visit, feed, and clean the place. Her favorite duck was a boy she lovingly named Kale. On one of her visits Margo found herself in an empty home, her ducks having somehow disappeared. Heartbroken, this sent her into a month-long depression. She hopes that they’re alright wherever they are.

Despite her fathers best attempts to shield his children and keep them away from crime her brother got himself involved through their uncle who was heavily into the drug trade. On February 21st the Zavala family's residence was broken into, the gang responsible having kidnapped the family in the dead of night, her brother having unintentionally put a mark on his family. The lasting result was the murder of their father while Margo and her mother were locked up in a dark room and starved.
"Seo-jin Celeste Zavala and her mother Sun-Hee Zavala, died on October 8, cause of death, starvation. . .After being kidnapped and held by a well known gang for 8 months, police broke into a home reported for smuggling drugs and found the corpses of the mother and young daughter, the bodies of the father, Ernandez, and eldest son, Santiago, are still yet to be recovered. . .according to the government and news in Spain at least . ."
"Witness Security Program" - After being rescued and relocated Margo was assigned her new identity at the age of 9 isolating herself from her old life and identity.
"Exchange Student" - Seeking independence and wanting to find her new identity Margo left home at 13 going into a student exchange program where she was taken in by a family in Karakura, Japan. Her mother had every right to be concerned as the event only further traumatized Margo due to the isolation and culture shock. This resulted in her often acting out.
"Koroners" - Being dragged into situation after situation with her friends they came to an agreement to always look out for one another as they were the only people they trusted. This resulted in the Koroner family, consisting of only five people at the time, Alex Koroner, John Koroner, Sarah Koroner, Kai Koroner, and Margo Koroner.
"Family Therapy" - After Alex realised how chaotic their new family was he forced them all to attend a session of family therapy. It was awkward and did not fix the problem.
"Engagement" - A short lived engagement Margo had with Leo Yamagata broken off by Margo resulting in him faking his death in front of her, Sarah, and Alex.
"Suicide Attempt" - With her mental health having hit a permanent low Margo made the decision to take her life by jumping off the lighthouse only to be saved last moment by Alex, Sarah, and Leo. Alex made her swear to never attempt again.
"Lucas' - After the death of her boyfriend Margo knew she wouldn't be able to take care of herself during her pregnancy influencing her choice to return to Korea to live with her mother. After a near death experience with a high fever Margo gave birth to her only child who she named Lucas. A perfect innocent baby boy who she feels she doesn't deserve.
"Kidnapping" - Returning to Karakura to visit, Margo and her sister Sarah were kidnapped by a group of thugs with a vendetta against their older brother, making sure to mark the left side of both women's faces. They were held hostage for 2 hours until their brother came to save them. This left a permanent scar on her left eyebrow.
"Falsely Accused" - Sarah was jailed after helping Ichigo fake her death being accused of murdering the women. Margo returned to Karakura to help bail out her sister and confronted Alex about his absence in their lives.
"Alex's Death" - Hearing the news of Alex's death through Sarah brought Margo immense pain, the last interaction she had with him being an argument where he stormed off and she said some regretful things. Both she and Sarah traveled back to Karakura to visit his grave and give their proper goodbye's.
"Suicide" - Lost and feeling like she had nothing left for her Margo and Sarah agreed to a suicide pact. The loss of their final true family member hitting them in a way they knew they wouldn't be able to come back from. They visited both John and Alex graves saying their goodbyes and leaving their momentos before climbing the mountain and watching the sun rise one last time. They held hands as they took their final breaths.

"Kidnapping" - Returning to Karakura to visit, Margo and her sister Sarah were kidnapped by a group of thugs with a vendetta against their older brother, making sure to mark the left side of both women's faces. They were held hostage for 2 hours until their brother came to save them. This left a permanent scar on her left eyebrow.
"Falsely Accused" - Sarah was jailed after helping Ichigo fake her death being accused of murdering the women. Margo returned to Karakura to help bail out her sister and confronted Alex about his absence in their lives.
"Alex's Death" - Hearing the news of Alex's death through Sarah brought Margo immense pain, the last interaction she had with him being an argument where he stormed off and she said some regretful things. Both she and Sarah traveled back to Karakura to visit his grave and give their proper goodbye's.
"Suicide" - Lost and feeling like she had nothing left for her Margo and Sarah agreed to a suicide pact. The loss of their final true family member hitting them in a way they knew they wouldn't be able to come back from. They visited both John and Alex graves saying their goodbyes and leaving their momentos before climbing the mountain and watching the sun rise one last time. They held hands as they took their final breaths.
Note: Due to their estrangement from their family and lack of friends no one was able to identify their bodies leaving them permanently marked as Jane Does.
