Backstory:
Matt Martinez lived in Spain for 16 years, and moved away because his parents were abusive, he moved away as soon as he had enough money for a plane ticket and moved to Karakura with no money what so ever, he struggled for a while but grabbed a small job with small pay, but just enough to get a small apartment.
Later on that year, he successfully made a friend named Weston, that helped him with a lot of hard times, which made them close friends, you could even say best friends. In a few years, Matt and Weston were wandering around the school of karakura and met a boy named Barnaby, we talked for a while and begun to hand out a lot, eventually, Barnaby managed to get the role of Volleyball captain! and Matt thought it was an awesome idea, so he practised and practised till he became a good volleyball player, and Barnaby noticed it eventually, and decided to recruit me as His "Wingman" on the volleyball team, and Weston joins the team shortly after, which was amazing. and that brings us to now, Matt, Barnaby and Weston are still Best of friends, playing volleyball.
