OML THIS IS ACTUALLY CANON YASSS
Kobi had just shown up outside Moshy's house, looking around cautiously. Jess had - being the shrinking violet she always had been - foolishly offered to share the spare room with him. Clever, I know.
Kobi lay underneath the blankets, sound asleep and breathing evenly. Jess leaned against the opposite wall, her head resting between her knees as she slowly fell asleep. Sitting whilst falling asleep felt like someone was pushing her back down, so her head was sinking and her lower body was being left behind. Only when Alec slammed the door did Jess wake up, her neck snapping backwards as her head shot up.
In a daze, she slid underneath the covers on the right side, avoiding Kobi as she turned to the right, closing her eyes and almost instantly falling asleep. Kobi shifted, sensing the shift of weight and extended his arm, so it wrapped around her shoulders and his head was resting on her tiny shoulder. Jess shifted as well. However, she was half awake, half asleep, and she was following her instincts, huddling closer to the sense of warmth. She blindly took hold of his right hand and pulled it tighter around her shoulders, leaning her head against his right shoulder. He smelt of the wind outside and clean water...
"Hmm..." Kobi hummed, still fast asleep. Jess's eyes flickered open to warmth and security, and she smiled, feeling safe and happy -
Wait.
"What?!" Jess said in a hushed whisper, letting go of Kobi's hand.
"Kobi, your hand." Jess flushed pink. "KOBI!" she poked him vigorously.
Kobi hummed contently again. "What?.." he said groggily.
"Your arm." Jess whispered, horrified.
Kobi gasped in realisation and retracted his arm, as Jess sat up, feeling embarassed.
"I'm so sorry." Kobi muttered, mortified.
Jess looked at him for a second, before bursting into peals of laughter.
EARLIER THAT EVENING - STILL CANON!!!!!
"Hailey, your turn!l Jess exclaimed; she did always like knowing what was happening and being in control.
"Alrighty," Hailey grinned mischievously, "Jess, T or D?"
"D.."
Hailey's eyes sparkled, concocting the perfect dare for her friend Jess.
"Hmm... kiss Kobi."
Jess was suspended for a second, before realisation pushed her back down.
"Fine. Kobi, consent time. Are you okay with this?"
Kobi shook his head. He didn't even know this girl, yet he was noticing her hair was darker at the top - she was frowning at him, underneath her hair was her face, and her face was frowning.
"Okay. What's the forfeit?"
"Kiss Moshy."
Moshy's eyes widened as she backed away. "Nono."
Kobi felt bad for Jess, his mouth opening as an array of words tumbled out without his control. "I've changed my mind." he blurted.
Jess raised an eyebrow, "Sure?"
"Yes."
And as time slowed down, Kobi felt her hand settling around the back of his neck as she briefly pressed her lips to his. It was quick - over before the blink of an eye, but his brain fizzed and stars danced in front of his eyes. Minutes passed, and as the game carried on he stayed silent.
"Sorry about that." Jess apologised, smiling ruefully.
"It's okay..." Kobi said shyly, muttering, "It was kind of.. enjoyable."
Jess flushed red and turned away, dimples on the back of her neck and all.
