Alright! i though about it since it came out.
I see a lot of people trowing junk or common loot on the ground wich also ga ve me this following idea!!
while we do the metal detector thingy there is the cooper coin the silver coin and the golden coin right?
SO!! what if we give a chance to the junk item such as the spoon or the mysterious ring a chance to be better!!!!
the bent spoon shall stay a junk as it is bent but the not bent spoon and the MYSTERIOUS ring could follow my idea!what if we could use an item, i think its caled an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, it can also be used on other item ofc i just use the ring and spoon as a refference..
while using the ultrasonic jewelry cleaner we could get several results!! i thought that the first one would be for the spoon or ring to break and we would lose it, the second wpould be for them to be just normal so still junk, like the ones we commonly use nowday! or! it could turn out to be cooper, silver or gold! or perhaps for the ring it could even turn out to be a legendary item! as for the spoon i did not think of any real good legandary state other than a very old one that was used hundreds of years ago that only royalty or noble had?? but those would be extremely rare considering it would have been long broken by the salty water-
maybe if one day there is to be an update to add more object to the metal detector we could also add this so it would give a chance for junk to be better and less people would trow them on the ground!! and maybe more people would be attracted to it!!!
im editing this part cuz i had an idea for the ring, im looking at it rn and it seems like theres smth on the ring, instead of making it cooper silver or gold- we could use the part on top that look like a sort of stone? and once cleaned it could turn out to be a ruby- an emerald, or maybe even a diamond! and if we want to push the thing even further w could bring those said object to an expert that will tell us if they are fake or not!!! cuz yeah while we might think we have found a diamond ring it could be a fake one!
And for the mysterious key! what if chest were added! but chest so rare its almost impossible to get and to open them we would need a key that goes with it! like for exemple a golden chest or a blue chest would need a golden key or a blue keey, not everything has to be gold- or like since there is skelleton key why not a skelleton chest! idk what would be inside tho

As i said earlier, people often just trow away junk item- i just though it would bring more fun to try and restor them! ^^
