You’d be searching through one of the various filing cabinets in a dark and dusty storage room, after hours of looking you finally found a folder that stuck out from the rest, it was the only one with a family crest on it. As your curiosity got the best of you, you’d open the folder that looked older than your grandfather, inside would be a lengthy document protected by a plastic sleeve.. It was clear you weren’t the first to find it.
Taking it out of the sleeve, the first thing you’d notice is the large Meyer family crest on the front, accompanied by a stamp reading CLASSIFIED and the title of the document at the very top, the paper seemed in pretty good condition for it’s assumable age and the ink didn’t seem faded at all.

Over the centuries since the beginning of the bloodline there have been many objects forged, found, and lost as each family head leads the Meyer family into greatness. Out of all the objects created and used for the benefit of the family, very few have been recovered as many are lost to time or were destroyed during the ████████ of ████. This document will be used as a reference and updated as needed, when a relic is recovered you are to contact the current family head for instructions and research will be done into its past.
The spear of Meyer | “Hasta deorum antiquorum”
History
The spear of Meyer has no known date of its creation, for centuries it has been passed down to the family member most worthy of receiving the status of family head. It’s believed that the spear had been made during the era of the Meyer’s parent family, one of three relics that were given out after the fall of the Althaus lineage, the sister relics were each given out to the other two families which sprouted along with the Meyers.
Not much is known clearly about how the spear was forged, nor how it has survived this long. However, as a way of upkeeping the weapon each head of the Meyers makes an improvement or change to the spear with the intention of improving its durability, lethality, and/or its beauty and ability to stand out among other relics of the same nature. This tradition has proved as effective as it is needed given that records about the spear from centuries in the past prove that it’s appearance now is nothing like how it was back then. It is believed and estimated that since its creation, the spear of Meyer bears the blood of over a thousand individuals dated across centuries.
Attributes
The spear has an older yet durable design, the shaft is made of tungsten and wrapped in an aged paracord material which was charred in the incident of 1342. The spear would have two heads, a large and a small which were both able to be used for defence and offence. These spearheads were made of a modified CPM S30V steel which was combined with tungsten to make both spearheads more resilient to damage while also having an exceptional edge retention, maintaining its sharpness for extended periods to make using it not only more convenient but also more reliable.
Aside from what the materials used, the spear is covered in designs only describable by their ancient appearance, the heads of the spear are littered with elegant designs while also sporting a rune dead center on both sides of the primary spearhead. The rune on the primary spearhead has no known origin, although it has also been spotted on other relics and also has been seen carved into the backs of previous family heads.
Notes
- The current location of the spear is being kept a secret due to the recent resurgence of a former family head. This ex-family head is a dangerous individual who will make any attempt to retrieve the spear from Germany so that he may retake power over the family.
- The spear is to remain in Germany and only be brought into Karakura under strict protection due to its historical value to the Meyer lineage.
