INFORMATION
The Modelling Team consists of talented modellers and animators alike, being one of the six Community Teams on SchoolRP with a focus on artistic content. The team focuses on completing a large number of requests, namely for official server models and/or customer-requested models. Modellers may be expected to create both simple and complex models depending on their abilities; however, they will frequently be requested to make items such as piercing sets, hats, large and small furniture items, and vehicles (such as cars, motorcycles, etc.). Therefore, it's important that you have a level of confidence in your ability to work alone, as you will mostly be expected to work in an independent work bubble to complete customers' requests for their cosmetic items, and as a team, when completing projects with other members of the modelling team.
Members who are accepted into the Modelling Team will be provided with a range of perks, such as:
- A unique tag (Modeller) in-game.
- Access to community-based channels to fulfil their duties.
- The ability to implement custom models into the server for their own personal usage in exchange for quota points received after completing models.
- The ability to redeem rewards/commissions for completing requested server work.
- And more!
It's important to bear the following points in mind regarding the Modelling Team, as well:
1 Any work created on Roleplay Hub as a part of the Modelling Team belongs to the server and can be used for any reason, even after you leave.
2 Modellers are expected to create up to a minimum of five models per week and/or complete any requests they are assigned to within a 7-14-day period.
2.1 Modellers who cannot complete their expected duties are required to create an inactivity log.
3 3D Modellers and Animators are expected to use Blockbench for all of their projects. This is the only programme accepted by SchoolRP for models.
4 3D Modellers must use a simplistic Java style when creating their models. These models must fit the pre-existing style on the server.
APPLICATION RULES
1 You cannot be a part of more than two community teams.
2 All of the work (including written work and portfolio submissions) submitted in your application must be your own. Plagiarism and/or usage of AI will result in an immediate denial.
3 All of the work submitted in your application must be unique and showcase a range of your skills to increase your chances of acceptance.
3.1 Applications that show a range of knowledge across items, furniture, and vehicles have a higher acceptance rate.
3.2 Any submitted model examples must include the size of their .json and .png files.
3.3 Any screenshots of submissions must include a screenshot of the model alone. Any models that are not displayed clearly will be excluded.
3.4 All model submissions must be created using Blockbench.
4 All applicants must apply with a style similar to that of the pre-existing server style/a simplistic Java style.
5 You must have a relatively clean history and reputation within the community. This will increase your chances of acceptance.
6 You must be active on the server (SchoolRP) itself.
7 You must have a working Discord account to carry out your duties.
8 You cannot ask a current member of the Modelling Team to read over your application; doing so will result in an immediate denial. Applications are reviewed by the Modelling Coordinator when new members are needed.
