Describe your activity on the server:
I try to be as active as I am able to, as of right now. I have been trying to log on a lot more lately and become more active before school begins for me in the next month or so.
I’ve been on SRP for almost six years at this point, and it shows well in my playtime.

It obviously depends on what I am doing that week, but this is my normal availability; sometimes I am more free, and sometimes I am less free. If I am ever unable to log on for more than a week, then an inactivity log would be posted, or I would let somebody know of my absence.
I do understand that it is quite low as I am helping a lot of graduating friends transfer from highschool to college, helping packing and going to graduation parties as well as visiting campuses…

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
Over the past years of me being on SRP, and in general in the roleplay community, I have been in many roleplay situations and different kinds of factions, despite my inactivity in some during some specific times, I take a lot out of each one.
Sports
Sports has helped me the most actually roleplay wise, it helped me develop many different characters and form many different relationships between characters and have helped me develop different kinds of characters that have and carry different impacts on others.
Factions
Of course factions help in different ways, a lot of factions like KPD and EMS which I’ve been in, in the past both help you develop how to have quick reflexes while roleplaying as a character, keep personality even when under stress and the rush of adrenaline, as well as interacting with other characters and people.
Outside of SRP
I feel like most people have some sort of outside of SRP experience within RP, I’ve been apart of a few of them! Spanning from Roblox, to even discord communities. Roblox helped me learn how to detail with smaller amounts of space, quality over quantity. As discord helped me experience roleplay without seeing the surroundings specifically around you, and instead imagining them and explaining them in your own words. Making visuals real with words.
What is your motivation for applying?
I miss the structure of when I was a part of EMS previously, and of course; I’ve said this dozens of times, Psychology will soon become my own specialty. I will also add with me recently taking a step back from SRP and it’s community, I wish to return to it in a fun and enjoyable way!
I miss the memories I made when apart of the faction, and I wish to create more in a new way with new people, yet still as enjoyable.
Which role are you applying for?
(Doctor or Psychiatrist)
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes.

“Let us rather not speak of the past, but instead of the future.”

Boo Hakashita wasn’t welcomed into the world like any normal child, with cries of family nearby and cheers of family in the waiting room.
The direct translation of her first name in Japanese, is Vow.
Anybody can guess why, right?
She was welcomed into the world with chants of family, she was born as a vessel and that is all they truly saw her as; a way to continue their family, her father having many wives; every one of them giving at least one child. She was just second in line, the eldest woman of the line, right behind the heir; Kuraiku Hakashita.
Even at home, when Baby Boo would cry and sob for hours, like any infant would; it was never met with comfort. She was not given affection, attention, comfort. She was only given what was required from them as parents; change the child's diaper, feed the child, and bathe the child. Teach the child.
Her first words weren’t anything sweet, and normal like parental lines, it was instead a vow to her family, stumbled through and stuttered, anything else didn’t count. Who knows what her first words actually were? They didn’t matter, only the important one did.
Whenever she stumbled about their home, and fell face-first it was never met with tears or worried parents about if it hurt, it was always met with “Can you move?”. Pain wasn’t treated as something to cry about, it was information to take in and process then move on. She never expected comfort.
When she was five, it was the first time she was ever taken to the hospital after her birth, she was on the roof of the house, chasing a bird that she found pretty. She fell and broke her arm, and when brought to the hospital due to the girl not moving her arm without complaints of discomfort, the doctors expected her to be a sobbing mess; like a child should act, yet instead she was silently crying from the pain; that she kept saying. “Is my arm usable?”
Her father didn’t do anything besides say “Bodies are valuable.” And the doctor just logged it in as unusual, but nothing came from it.
She was taught from home, yet nothing was something that people normally teach kids to make sure they go places in life and learn properly in future education. What else do you expect from a cult? She received constant praise along with others, but since she was almost a direct descendant, of course some of them would favour her.
At age eight, after a ceremony, she was walking across glass strewn across the floor, nobody noticed she wasn’t wearing protective shoes until it started to pool beneath her feet, she was then rushed to the hospital again, when she was asked about her pain scale. She was confused, she never truly understood pain; it was just discomfort, and you can do something about discomfort, but she learned to live in that discomfort, don’t comfort the pain or else you’ll always reach for it when times are hard, right?
A year later was when her own vocabulary started to shift; something everybody noticed.
Instead of “My stomach is hurting.”
It was.
“The abdomen is hurting.”
Nobody corrected this, until it was way too late for her to change how she speaks, everybody thought it was something that would soon pass by, a phase.
The next time she ended up in the hospital was the year before she was allowed to enter highschool, yes, a public one. She went swimming and almost didn’t come up, during that hospital visit, the drowning feeling still heavy in her lungs she asked,
“Why didn’t the body ask to breathe?”
When she entered highschool, everybody she met had crushes on others, she was always confused; she’s never expressed those kinds of feelings before, or even know what it felt like. Again, she believed she was just a vessel, there’s no point in committing to any emotions she had towards anybody that seemed of interest.
Teenagers argue, they rebel, their grades dropped.
Boo fell in love with the structure of school, classes, learning new things, so that’s all she ever did in her free time. She was always studying, meeting with teachers to get extra work to keep working, that’s all she ever did while other kids and even her younger brothers were out partying in their early years of highschool.
Boo ended up joining student council, becoming the President while keeping up with her studies, that was everything she ever dreamed of, for once; in a sense, in her ideology.
She was respected for who she was, people followed her because of believing in her, not because of her bloodline.
Her last year of highschool, disaster struck.
Her father and his first wife both died, tragically; together. Nobody was able to mourn, it was disapproved upon. You would vanish for days if you were found mourning their deaths.
She never did, she instead followed everything the new eldest had her to do, Kuraiku, that was her form of grief.
Kuraiku told her to go to college, get a degree; men like educated women.
So that’s what she did.
Kuraiku told her to jump, and she asked how high?
As she got her own bachelor's degree, in something she actually enjoyed; Psychology, he pushed her forward as they moved to Karakura.
It didn’t last long, she kept promising she would go for sports teams, but always ran away last minute. She loved Karakura, she felt free, she met people, made friends.
She met a woman named Capri Lahela, a woman that was fresh from a breakup.
They started as friends, but it soon became something a lot more for Boo. She always felt comforted being around her, she felt at peace. It was a nice feeling for a while, she always chased the high of doing something she wasn’t allowed, mixed with the peace of being in-love.
The love was simple, Capri was always attached to her side; it was something she wasn’t used to. Capri asked what she wanted to do today instead of directing it only herself, she asked what Boo wanted to do.
She was the moon, and Capri was her sun. They revolved each other, you barely ever saw one without the other.
Kuraiku soon found out, and did her a favour.
She introduced her to a woman, Boo never truely cared enough to learn her name, all she knew was that she worked in the morgue before.
Kuraiku was using this woman as a threat instead of anything else, saying if you disobey; I have somebody to take you away.
Requested that she would bring him somebody she would be okay with marrying. All she got was one chance; she never did.
At the end of the year, they quickly left Karakura, Boo leaving her first love behind. They returned home, the Hakashita’s only inhabited Karakura for a year before they all left.
By this time she barely if ever spoke about herself directly, she always avoided the words I, me, myself.
That didn’t quite exist, did it?
Upon her leaving Karakura, a marriage was arranged almost instantly. The man always loved her, always loved her from a distance yet she never noticed him. It was only a discussion between Kuraiku and a man, not herself and her future husband.
The wedding was quick, it was in a courthouse with signed papers, no vows or family members clapping and cheering as they would have had a kiss at an alter, instead it as between two people and papers.
He was always gone for work after their ‘wedding’, always gone. But every time Boo woke up, she woke up with love letters that could’ve been turned into books, love letters of things she did in the past few days in amazing detail; she was being worshiped by a man she didn’t even love, he was a devotee. She stayed home, learned how to cook. She never knew how to respond to these letters, so they were placed into a box.
The marriage continued for a few years, having dropped out of college while working on her Doctorates, in Psychology. She always kept at it, in her free time but her dream of having something she can run away with was far from reach.
The marriage in reality was sickly sweet, he’d always tell her how much he loved her, but the only kind of words to be similar was “Thank you.” From Boo, she never understood marriage or the feelings that should be attached to it.
After a few years of the fake marriage she was trapped in, one day she stood at the box in her closet, unsure of what to do with them. A new one held in her hand, she already knew what questions would be asked, and how she was perceived. She never knew the answer to such a simple question;
Who are you?
She had an idea of what would fix the issue of not loving the person she apparently married, and finding her own answer to the question.
Escaping.
She wrote her first letter back, she cared for him; but it was more of a friendship rather than anything close to romantic. Never close to the kind of feelings she had for Capri during college.
She left her home, she left with nothing but a ticket to somewhere she remembers feeling like home, and the box of letters she hoped to one day answer.
Karakura.
She quietly lived in her apartment for a year, speeding-through the rest of her degree. She wanted to learn something new, and something about herself in the future.
Is there a person in the vessel her family created?
It never felt like there was.
So she enters the hospital now with an application in her hand, hoping to answer the question she’s always been asked.
Who am I?
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Forensic Psychology and Trauma Related work.
Anybody can make an educated guess on why she chose this work, it fits her specifically in a different way anything else would.
For forensic psychology, it’s clear; she wants to understand people. If that means interacting with them, maybe on a daily? She’d prefer that, she’s good at reading better but needs to be better at socializing.
Within Trauma related Psychology work, she’d link it to her forensics work; are people more prone to crime or violent crimes after having been traumatised? She wants to know the differences between doing these violent crimes when having trauma compared to none, it’s something rather large in Karakura; the crime rate. So why not work with it?
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
She does not, sadly.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

Boo is tall, like all Hakashita’s coming in at a staggering 5’10 compared to her even taller brothers. She wears her extremely long black inky hair down normally, sometimes it drags along behind her if she forgot her heels that day, that rarely goes up for more serious and hands-on tasks. Her back is as straight as a board; you’ll never see her slouching, her hands normally placed behind her on the crook of her spine that dips in. She’s never worn makeup, as she’s never had access it, nowadays having been alone for a while, she normally expresses herself in bare patches of eyeliner and mascara. Her beauty is all natural. Her lips are always taught with the barest of smiles, just enough to make her seem approachable and kind. A pair of normal readers glasses sitting on her nose.
For Boo’s personality otherwise? Once people speak to her, most do not like her - her strict formalities in Karakura are something people do not understand or enjoy, she’s extremely blunt and does not take offense to anything. If she does not enjoy a conversation, she’d simply state that she is leaving and move along with her day, she knows her time will be well-spent anywhere else. Despite the hardened exterior of first-meetings, she does soften the formalities when close to others, speaking more freely and less robotic.
The easiest way to describe how people feel meeting her; many feel creeped out, and it’s been an ongoing occurrence where she speaks to somebody once and never again, most people staring at her personality with disgust and confusion. She understands that is one of her flaws that she doesn’t know how to fix. Then again, has Boo ever tried?
How does your character act around the hospital?
The hospital would quickly become Boo’s second home, she’d most likely take minimal off-duties, and treat it as her second home it is; constantly cleaning it, and treating her co-workers as family. Well, they are going to be spending most of their life together due to the kind of job they all do, so why not claim them as her family she lacks? She always pays attention to everything happening around her, and is more prone to being more proactive during emergencies.
She’s still clearly getting used to being able to socialize freely, so during her free time that is what she would tyr to do. Talk to people, talk to her co-workers, or doing what she does best; study, despite having her PhD, there is still so much to learn, you never fully learn anything.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Boo enjoys working by herself, but she typically only finds answers when she’s working with others. She’s okay with doing a mix of both with people that she knows and understands, she needs to know them to be able to work comfortably and understands that her comfort levels shouldn’t always dictate her working. But when she has the choice to? She’d rather work with companions rather than herself or somebody she doesn’t know. She knows as much as she can about her study, but it’s always good to have another brain to bounce ideas off of.

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
(This is to gauge at your current understanding of the faction prior to acceptance)
Hospital Director | Top of the chain, this is the person that directs everybody when needed, and is there to handle the reports. Everything does through this person, they’re the top of the food chain. They own the hospital. |
Hospital Deputy Director | The directors right-hand man, literally and figuratively. This person assists the director in most things they do, and are the second in command. If the Director was ever unable to work, then you’d report to the Deputy. |
Clinical Lead | As for the branches, these are the people that are controlling their own sections of the hospital. These are the people that manage their own workers, and can normally be the best in their field at their hospital. |
Attending | An attending is normally somebody who is completely trained and has shown to be competent in their line of work over time, if the clinical lead isn’t free and you have a question? Ask one of these people, they are the best bet you have! |
Senior Resident & Resident | There is not a big difference in these two to my knowledge, they know what they’re doing and understand their jobs, if you have a question to ask? People with this role are also good people to ask to understand. |
Trainee | The newest of the bunch! These people are new to the hospital and maybe even it’s environment, they do what they can and are still in training. These are the babies of the faction, as they know almost nothing and are still learning everything to do with the faction. |
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
Yes.
