As someone who has been credited with inspiring the recent surge of AMA-themed threads, I suggest relocating them from the General subforum to a more specialized area, such as the "Introduction" subforum or a new dedicated "AMA" subforum.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
I am concerned that allowing unlimited questions in AMAs might flood the first page of the General subforum, making it difficult for other general threads to remain visible. Moving the AMA posts to another forum section would prevent this.

This won’t last forever. Just let it slide by and the general section will be back to the way it was. If someone wants to make an AMA in the introductions section then they can.

It’s a good idea on paper, but it won’t be used for long and sections are only prioritized towards things we need, it’s better to keep the AMA threads in general.

I disagree. As has been said, this isn't something which will stick for longer than a month. People will move on, and that will be the end of it.
It's just a trend people like hopping on, because they appreciate the attention being asked questions gives them.

There isn't any point in creating a new sub-page for AMA, It can go under general or introduction. As long as it isn't being posted in any other sections, I don't see why it would be needed. That being said, it is a trend that is happening and it will die down over time, It's a fun interaction for people to ask silly questions and learn about other people!

I don't see the harm in moving them all to introductions or keeping them in general, it's probably gonna be a 'trend' that continues for a long time so.
