Backstory:
Before going to the high school in japan, Ethan had a normal life at his private school in California, United States. One day his mother got in a car crash because of his drunk father. His sister made it out alive. The reason for his mother, his father, and his sister being in the car at the time was because they had to go to the hospital to help their son in need. Ethan was at the hospital because of his leg breaking during a football game. When the rest of the family had crashed the car, the mother had held on to her daughter between her chest and legs. When the car crashed the daughter was okay but the mom was hit in the heart with glass. The sister was crying and a couple walking heard the crash and the daughter. When they got there they had called 9-1-1. Apparently, the father was under a drug influence and was arrested. Ethan was sent to the Japanese school because his mother died and his father was arrested, No another family member was alive to take care of the kids. Ethan was sadly separated from his sister and was sent to a different city than her. Ethan still to this day regrets that game because of his mother's death. Ethan tries to look for his sister but can't find her. When he looks up her name, he doesn't find anything because she and he had changed names slightly. Until they both are 18 years old, they can't meet. When Ethan got to Japan he had bought a necklace with his mothers' name on it. He wears it around his neck no matter what.
